4 out of 5 eggsBuy it on sale

Pros: -Cheap
-USB Wireless(Sometimes Bluetooth can be a hassle or PC might not even have it)
-Small
-Lightweight

Cons: -Not backlit
-Small trackpad
-Very sensitive trackpad thinks I am trying to drag or click
-PC off/on, PC Lock, Home, Music buttons on top don't work (might be the MoBo) (Worked on 2 of my 3 PC's)

Other Thoughts: I got a refurb for $25, for the price I can over look the Cons, but wouldn't pay full price for it.

4 out of 5 eggsNon-Standard Key Functions

Pros: Good Range
On\Off Switch
Small Size
Trackpad

Cons: Non Standard Key combinations for Function Keys, Scroll keys
Small Enter Key

Other Thoughts: Nice keyboard for HTPC for the price. Solid Range, with On/OFF switch and trackpad. If you are a keyboard person who uses shortcuts, etc, the non-standard combinations to use standard keys will slow you down. All the top functions keys require another key to be pressed with them to function as F5, F10, Etc. Plus the key labels are hard to read, very tiny. The same for Page Down, Page Up, etc. requires another key to be pressed in combination. I really stumble at first as this is different than any other keyboard I have on other machines. The Enter/Return key is very small too, and my pinky just misses it a lot! But for HTPC use it is fine. Backlighting would be a plus!

5 out of 5 eggshave rf, will travel

Pros: small, lightweight, ON/OFF switch

Cons: usb dongle is long, they could have made it swivel so there's less change of hitting it.

Other Thoughts: Not sure how long batteries last as I don't use it daily. Not sure of reliability yet. It's on my music studio PC and I am usually at the PC lately instead of watching lesson videos at the piano and drums. When the alkaline's go out, I will be putting in Eneloop batteries in it. THE best battery in the world. I've had them in my toothbrush for a long time. Last forever between charges.

4 out of 5 eggsThe Best HTPC Keyboard available

Pros: Easy to use, comfortable and useful shortcuts for Windows 8. Perfect for my use controlling my HTPC when a remote control won't do the trick. Used to use a Logitech Dinovo mini for this purpose, but that was junk compared to this, and it's so much cheaper too!

Cons: Ideally, it could use more custom functionality to assign hotkeys, backlit keys and separate, more distinguished buttons for navigating Windows 8 (charms bar, app switching, etc). Currently these keys blend right into the other keys. They're so convenient, they should be separated so they're easier to navigate! Also, build quality isn't bad, but it's not great either. Cheap plastic is totally acceptable for the $20 range, but I wouldn't mind paying extra for a higher quality keyboard.

Other Thoughts: As far as I'm aware, this is the best device to control your HTPC with, and it's cheap too! I only wish the build quality and features were a little more robust.

4 out of 5 eggsRefurb: Logitech K400

Pros: A compact all-in-one handy keyboard/mouse combo. Does what it's supposed to do.

Cons: The battery compartment is hard to open. There is no caps-lock or num-lock indicator lights--you have to either guess those settings or install some third-party software in your computer to indicate that for you.

Other Thoughts: The tiny USB transmitter/receiver is hidden in the battery compartment door; and I think that's why many people got confused and asumed it had not been included. (a little reading of the instructions should have taken care of that)
This is just the right compact size for those of us whose setup includes more than one PC, so that your desk does not get cluttered with large keyboards and mice...I would have bought two, but unfortunately the "promo code" was good only for one:(
Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait for the next!

4 out of 5 eggsOh, the RF module is under the battery cover!

Pros: Worked right when I plugged it in (after I found the RF module, which only came after unleashing a stream of profanity that my young son has probably heard before anyway).
Really light
Does what it's supposed to. I use it for when I'm laying in bed hooked to medical equipment and dealing with an actual laptop is too cumbersome. Don't have to worry if I only have this keyboard balanced precariously on my belly when I doze off.

Cons: Feels a little cheap and flimsy.
Would have liked to see a scroll bar/wheel. This scrolling with two fingers is a pain.
There's a left hand button for a left mouse click. Why not one for a right mouse click? That would have been great.

Other Thoughts: This was very well worth 16 bucks.

5 out of 5 eggsNice little keyboard/touchpad

Pros: About the size of 2 DVD cases end to end. Nice feel to the keys. Couldn't be more compact for my big fingers, but not too small to touch type either. Pad works well, still getting used to it -seems to rely on heat prints rather than pressure so two-finger functions need finesse. Easy to zoom while scrolling with two fingers, for example, and the double-tap command is very sensitive. Haven't checked to see what I can customize yet. Volume & mute buttons in easy reach are a great feature. laptop/flatscreen controller.

Cons: Touch pad has a different feel and may take some getting used to.

Other Thoughts: Well-designed input for remote control of laptop. Smaller hands would easily adjust to this keyboard.

3 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Cheap.
surprisingly very good range.
it works.

Cons: the track pad doesn't work smoothly
laggy
no numpad

Other Thoughts: I bought this for the TV that's why I didn't mind the small form factor. I got a refurbished one for a good bargain so I still gave 3 stars since it gets the job done even though not as smooth as I want it to be.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent for Refurbished Product

Pros: I ordered keyboard on Sunday and it arrived on Tuesday. Micro USB dongle right where it should, in the slot under the battery cover. Great size and easy to key and mouse pad works great. Immediately connected to all my PCs without driver downloads. Looks like new.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I'm currently using it with a Raspberry Pi as a micro HTPC and I couldn't be happier. Range with the USB extender is more than adequate.
