4 out of 5 eggsGood, but could be better

Pros: Compact and lightweight.

Touchpad supports Windows 8 gestures with current software, and on Windows 7 (and possibly older), use of two fingers to scroll in all directions and right click is supported (a hardware right click button is also present).

3 of the 4 hotkeys can be reassigned, and the standard function keys can also be reassigned. (The "Home" hotkey is not available for reassignment in the current software).

One useful reassignment for PC that isn't close at hand is "eject" which not only opens the optical drive tray, but will close it as well. (Am I the only one that has ever burned a disc, picked it out of the tray, then sat back down only to notice I didn't close the tray)?

The keyboard also has a handy second left-click mouse button at the extreme upper left of the keyboard.

Cons: No middle click button, and no apparent way to reassign any of the hardware buttons (two below the touchpad, one on the keyboard) to act as such or to reassign one of the keyboard keys to this function.

The compact size mentioned as a pro is also a con; the keys are about 85-90% of the size of a normal desktop keyboard, so some adjustment is necessary and those with big fingers could have persistent issues.

Like many notebook keyboards, some functions are doubled up. Page up, Page down, Home, and End are doubled up on the cursor keys and require use of the Fn key to access. Likewise, Scroll Lock and Print Screen are doubled up on the Insert and Delete keys, respectively.

Although the software allows reassigning some keys to a keystroke, they cannot be reassigned to Print Screen, as pushing that key to enter it in the reassignment box simply performs the function. This shortfall could be addressed with a software update, but until then the only solution appears to be to use third party software like AutoHotkey.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this refurb from another website, and noticed in the reviews there the same variance in quality that reviews note here. While my keyboard appeared as new (as do some reviewed here), it appears to be the luck of the draw if that will be true for you.

I've noticed this same variance in quality in reviews of other Logitech products, so keep in mind that you are likely taking a bit of a chance when ordering on of the refurbished models.

1 out of 5 eggsDoA

Pros: I already had one and I liked it. So I ordered another one for another room

Cons: This came DoA. I only opened the box after more than a month of buying it so when I saw it was DOA, it was too late.

Other Thoughts: I will never buy this product refurb because I don't like to return the stuff I buy.

5 out of 5 eggsExactly Perfect

Pros: I've been looking at getting one of these for awhile for my HTPC and I finally pulled the trigger at 30 bucks, of course a week later it was 5 dollars cheaper but no big. This thing is great no problems with it whatsoever, works great with linux too.

Cons: I wasn't free? The bottom is white? I have fat fingers and the keys are a little small? That's all I've got. I'm struggling to find problems with it.

Other Thoughts: One of the best investments I've made.

1 out of 5 eggs#@$#% Defective Product with $9 RMA to ship

Pros: I have another one of these at home. Works ok with Samsung tv. Doesnt work with apps, but allows you to type in the browser.

Cons: Received a defective unit. Now, I have to pay for shipping. This is a total pain in the rear. A#mazon is way better.

4 out of 5 eggsDOA---NOT - I was wrong!

Pros: like small size- will use as HTPC keybrd-veiwing PC on monitor in next room now and signal has no problem passing thru walls. like ON-OFF switch to save batteries and keep little hands from using it. keys are small but quiet.

Cons: no instructions--installed Logitech Setpoint software and nothing worked-- got RMA and wrote 1 egg review--I was wrong! viewed Logitech site again and found "Unifiying210.exe" installed and it paired with receiver.

Other Thoughts: touch pad is not the best (minus 1 egg) but it works good enough in my recliner--easy to pick up and put away with one hand.

4 out of 5 eggsI though it was not working, but it does.

Pros: It works as expected.

Cons: No manuals, no instructions. Receiver included, but hard to find; It is hidden inside the cover.

Other Thoughts: I ordered it, and at first, as many pointed out, I though the receiver was not missing. I called for support, but they told me it was not included and could not do anything.

After reading through the reviews, one pointed out that the receiver WAS included, but it is hidden in the cover. Even then, I could not see it! But it was there.

I plugged it in, and windows installed it's driver. It was still not working, but then it was just a matter of installing Logitech Setpoint, and pair the keyboard with the receiver.

Works great now.

If it was not for the review who pointed out the receiver was inside the cover, I would have returned it.

4 out of 5 eggsIt's alright.

Pros: Works fine, decent distance(10-15').

Cons: The whole keyboard has a sort of "cheap" feel to it, especially the touch pad.

Other Thoughts: Should have bought the backlit version but I was being cheap. Still working on getting it to work properly with Raspberri Pi. And by working on it, I mean I've neglected to go and find a working driver.(Touchpad doesn't work with Raspbian off the bat, keyboard does though)

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard

Pros: Great all in one keyboard

Cons: key setup is awkward and not having extender limits distance of keyboard.

Other Thoughts: My relative had this and I loved how it had great reception as far as 15 ft away. He uses it with his htpc and I decided to buy this one. Unfortunately I read after I purchased that it didn't come with the extender and this limits the distance. I am around 8-10 ft away and this worths okay. The limitations arise if its dark and you can't see the keys.
