2 out of 5 eggsGood looking but not more

Pros: It is the best looking keyboard that I ever had and people who come to us will notice it immediately.

Cons: Some manufacturing problem makes a couple of keys to stick every now and then and I have to punch it multiple times to unstick them. Also after 2 years the paint is wearing off.

Other Thoughts: It looks good but unfortunately the feeling is not as expected and I don't know why I didn't change this long ago.

Also the software is useless, meaning that it doesn't even add the functionality required from a 'multimedia keyboard". I very seldom use the buttons because they only sometimes work. It would have been nice to have some software to allow customization.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat design but poor durability

Pros: This is the best looking keyboard you can buy. It seems sturdy and well built. Plug and play, no special drivers required to use the extra features.

Cons: The ink on the keys smears. The letters printed on the freguently used keys will become illegible blobs within 3 months. I would have rated this product 5 stars if it weren't for this problem.

3 out of 5 eggsbeautiful finish / horrible to type on

Pros: the brushed alumninum fishish is very attractive. the low profile keys are very nice.

Cons: the placement of the middle key group(home,pg up, pg dn, end, up arrow, dn arrow, left arrow, right arrow) is absolutely very bad. there's a reason these keys are usually placed apart from the other keys. it's just too easy to accidentally hit them.

Other Thoughts: i would stick to keyboards with the usual layout if it's what you're used to. i'm not finding it easy to get used to this layout at all.

Pros: Looks great initially. Seems sturdy and well built.

Cons: The paint smears on the frequently used keys turning the letters into blobs.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat looking, but not great

Comments: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16823155003 I really like the scissor switch key style. I already had a Kensington 64365 Slim keyboard I bought for work and I LOVE it. I got the zippy wk-722 thinking that it would have the same feel, but it just looks really good. It came in but was slightly dented and twisted, so it didn't sit flush. Shipping problem I'm sure, not by manfacturing. Beyond that, the feel of the keys is *not nearly* as nice as the Kensington or any laptop keyboard I've tried. Sent it back due to damage, but decided not to get another. I'll get another Kensington due to the incredible feel. It doesn't look as sharp as this one, but the feel actually makes you WANT to type (as you can tell from this write up). The zippy was mushy. Also, the keys are painted, not metal (as in description), but what you don't know until you fee it, is how the letters on the keys are stenciled out of the paint. The letters are "recessed" in the paint, so it feels strange on your fingers. BRAIL wouldn't be that annoying.
All form, not function. I highly recommend the Kensington overall, and the Zippy ONLY if you don't do much typing. The price is much better too.

5 out of 5 eggsWouldn't Buy

Comments: I took a chance at buying this keyboard, and it was deff. not worth it. The finish comes off not to soon after you buy it, most of my keys are "black" now. None of the media keys are customizable, you can't even set the media one to anything besides Windows Media Player".

For this price, go and get the logitec MX.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: Nice keyboard, the silver fits along nicely with a Samsung 172X LCD monitor. I'm typing from the keyboard right now, it is not the soft no-sound keyboards as some people may think. The Num-Caps-Scroll locks are blue LED's, if your computer is in your own room, you may want to turn off the num/cap/scroll locks at night, because the LED's illuminate in the dark very powerfully.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: Nice keyboard, it is taking me a little time getting used to it because the layout is slightly different from my laptop's layout. This is the keyboard you want if you are used to laptop style keyboards and do not like regular keyboards. Great shipping from Newegg, got here two days after I ordered it.
