3 out of 5 eggsWorked fine till it decided not too.

Pros: Well when the light worked it looked pretty neat, although, perhaps it was just mine, but I noticed a high pitched whine whenever I turned it on. The action was really nice and smooth, if only because I prefer that laptop feel in a keyboard.

Cons: The light stopped working after about 6 months. I had it for less than a year and suddenly the "backspace" and "t" decided not to work as well. Worst off I really didn't use it that much. Other than typing up the usual Newegg Review and emails and such, this keyboard was used pretty lightly since I use a gamepad for 95% of my gaming and it broke in less than a year :(. Although in the past, on more than one occasion, water found it's way onto it, so perhaps it's just user error, which is why I gave it the rating I did, instead of something lower

Other Thoughts: It was a great solution at the time; small, inexpensive, laptop feel keys, and cool light up keyboard bed. However it lost its glitter pretty quickly. Impossible to keep clean. Any and all crumbs/dirt are extremely visible under the keys. Gave it a bit of a grimy look pretty quickly, depsite my struggles to keep it clean. Worst off, it just broke one day for basically no reason. Like I said tho, water got on it once or twice before (not when it broke) so I guess that could have helped break it in the end I guess.

4 out of 5 eggsnot bad...

Pros: laptop-type keyboard, if you like that sort of thing.

electro-luminecent backlit keys.

Cons: the backlight is very dim now... ive had it for over a year or so...

Other Thoughts: i love this kb... i have it in black though. i just wanted a keyboard i could type on with the lights off and have laptop-flat keys. the light on the kb will work if i turn it off for awhile, but it dims again pretty quickly...

its a good board for the price imo, but dont buy it just for the backlit keys, unless you remember to turn it off during non-use.

4 out of 5 eggsWorked very well

Pros: I have had his board for 3+ years now and it has done me well. Slim, light and easy to get used to. EL works great at nightand I never had any noises.

Cons: Well not many for having this for 3+ years. EL is weak now and only 1 key has given me problems.

Other Thoughts: This board has never failed me in a FPS game.

1 out of 5 eggsIt just does not work

Pros: Its is very nice keybord and very smooth to type.

Cons: Its very short life time keyboard.

If you gonna use light on these keybord don't be shock to hear noise all the time.

Other Thoughts: After first time I bough this model I fall in love with this keyboard. It got broken it 6 month so I decided to buy a new one from New Egg. First time they send me a broken one second time they send me broken one. Third time i decided to get diferent brand. "Kxxxxngton Slim Type" this is my new love :-)

3 out of 5 eggsNopt the best, but not that bad either...

Pros: - It is a simple interface device. You type and it works.
- Liteweight
- Attractive overall design
- Illuminated keys
- Slim design fits in smaller places

Cons: - The keys can stick and thus "double type" easily
- The lights are a little bright if you stare at the keypad
- Too small for my big hands.
- MM keys...no MM keys!

Other Thoughts: The plain truth is that this is a "good" keyboard. It isnt great. People seem to want the perfect keyboard from this thing and well..that it aint!

Never had failures with it as the previous person did, BUT I did have the keys stick...often. I fixed this by removing the silicone keypad and spraying silicone based lubricant on it.

Besides that I have big hands. I can hemisphere a basketball with no problem. This thing is TINY. If you were looking for a standard keyboard size...this aint it! SMALL.

1 out of 5 eggsNothing but problems

Pros: Looks good.

Cons: Went through 4 keyboards since buying the first one. They had different modes of failure, but none lasted more then 6 months. Acquiring replacements from Zippy was extraordinarily difficult. The last time I spoke with them, they refused to send me another keybaord as the original warrantee expired. They had the audacity to ask how long I wanted them to keep sending me keyboards. My simple response of “until you send me one that works for more then 6 months” apparently wasn’t enough to convince them to send me a working unit. Keyboard has found a new home as a play toy for my 9 month old son, as this is about all this keyboard is good for.

Other Thoughts: It’s a shame Zippy can’t back up the cool look of their products with reliability, or good customer support if you have a problem. I have old keyboards that are still working after 10 years of use. It’s simply inexcusable for Zippy to tout the reliability of their keyboards and then not deliver on that promise.
