5 out of 5 eggsNo regrets

Pros: Quiet, clean, a pleasure to use. Lack of a 10-key pad frees up desk space and allows the mouse and keyboard to be closer together (I don't feel like I'm sprawled all over my desk when I'm gaming).

Cons: Lack of a 10-key pad when I need to input numbers. I've had this keyboard for more than a year and I'd hoped to be used to this by now, but I'm not (probably because keyboard at work has one). I don't regret getting a keyboard without 10-key, but I definitely didn't realize that I used it that much at home.

Other Thoughts: This is the most money I've ever spent on a keyboard and I was definitely concerned about making poor choices, but I absolutely love this keyboard. Best investment I could have made.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent Keyboard

Pros: 1. Tenkeyless but full mechanical, less than $100.

2. Durable and detachable cable.

3. Can be easily customized by third party key caps.

4. Printings are on the side of key caps. Looks cool, and will not be faded.

5. Heavy enough to stay still while typing or playing games so hard. :D Also, light enough to carry it.

6. Function keys are provided. Deactivation of Windows key is very suitable for gamers.

7. Key-cap puller, and extra keycaps are coming with the purchase.

Cons: 1. No LED (I knew it so it does not matter).

2. For me, key-cap font is ugly.

Other Thoughts: Very decent Cherry MX red keyboard. My previous keyboard was C* K90. It was great keyboard as well. However, after it dead after 2 years of use, I decided to get a simple, and tenkeyless keyboard. This keyboard was the perfect choice for me.

Honestly, many people do not need to have 20~30 extra macro keys. Get tenkeyless and save your space and make your room nice and clean.

There are many fancy mechanical keyboard. However, this CM Storm QuickFire series, gives you what a mechanical keyboard needs. This is the best mechanical keyboard especially if this is your first purchase of mechanical keyboard.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat budget mechanical keyboard

Pros: Made by same OEM as Filco, which is the main reason I purchased it besides the pricetag. My old Filco with brown switches stayed behind when I moved so after using a cheap rubber dome for some time I decided to get another mechanical. My first time using red switches but I love them just as much as my browns, although it has been a while so I forgot the feeling of the tactile bump they had. For the price this board cannot be beat and if you are looking for a great alternative to Filco/Ducky/etc then this is where to look.

I wish they also had a version available with completely blank keypads but the side printing is just as fine.

Cons: None that I have noticed so far. The branding might throw a few people off, but unless you use the cooler master spare keycaps this really has none aside from the CM Storm logo that is tucked away on the back of the keyboard. Some people do not like the LEDs being built into the lock keys, but it has not bothered me.

Other Thoughts: Great budget keyboard, would recommend to anyone who needs a quality mechanical keyboard as an entry board, or an enthusiast who needs a cheaper spare.

3 out of 5 eggssomewhat disappointed

Pros: small, has discrete home, end, del keys

Cons: Key symbols are EXTREMELLY small particularly ones such as single, double quote, paren, bracket, period, comma, etc. Keyboard is a tiny bit high, typing angle could be better; negligible compared to symbol size

2 out of 5 eggsFailed in 6 months

Pros: It's a great sized (small) mechanical keyboard. I actually got the version with Cherry MX Browns.

Cons: The "o" key failed in 6 months. No gaming. No banging. Just office work. It looks like CoolMaster will take the product back. Early in the process though. Warranty lasts till June 2015

Other Thoughts: I'm not a big fan of where they printed the letters. Kinda' small and hard to see.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful

Pros: This keyboard is gorgeous. It is really simple and understated which is exactly what I was looking for. I am switching from an original Logitech G15 to this. First of all the Red switches are quiet. Almost as quiet as my old keyboard. That was a surprise, because I thought they would be much louder than they are. The keys are very sturdy and extremely consistent. This is the first mechanical keyboard I've used and it does take some getting used to, but once you're used to typing on it it's great.

Cons: I don't like the LEDs on the CAPS lock, scroll lock, and windows lock keys. They are very bright and hard not to look at, especially in the dark. However, I never use them or have them on anyways, so it's not a problem. The cable was pretty difficult to plug in as well. It's a tight fit in the back. You have to force it in pretty good, but it does fit.

Other Thoughts: If you're coming from a non-mechanical keyboard, the switch is not as scary as you would think. I can't speak for the blue or brown switches, but the red switches are amazing. They feel lightweight, but sturdy, and are about as easy to type on as a non-mechanical keyboard. Typing is a little more audible than you might be used to, but it is not nearly as obnoxious as you might think. It is the most satisfying keyboard I have ever used to type with.

The "stealth" keys are absolutely gorgeous. I thought I might not like them at first, but they are easy to look at if you have to, and easy to ignore if you don't. I recommend using PS/2 mode if you can. It gives you increased access to the keyboard (repeat rates) without taking up a USB slot. Couldn't ask for much more than that. The keyboard does sit a little higher than most other keyboards. I don't even use the lifts in the back. However, I like my keyboards to lay a little flatter than most people prefer I think. The keyboard sits normally at about a 10 degree angle. With the lifts up, its about double that. Possible a little more. Also, if you're going to try PS/2 mode, try shutting down your PC plugging it in to the PS/2 port, and starting up from there. That's the only way I got mine to work. I'm pretty sure it was because of my motherboard though.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard

Pros: -Sturdy overall design
-Cable management options
-Good Micro USB to USB cord included

Cons: It does have a matte finish so it gets quite dirty looking in a short time.
