1 out of 5 eggsHigh quality and lovely when it was working fine

Pros: - Feels amazing
- Really nice on the ears

Cons: - Broke in less than 3 months

Other Thoughts: Amazing keyboard that felt amazing to use for the entirety that I've used it. However, after a mere 2 1/2 months of use, none of the keys register. It has never been moved from it's original place and there's no external damage that had been done but it fails to work. I've tried changing which USB port, and an additional PC. Really disappointing that this expensive keyboard didn't last long at all.

5 out of 5 eggsNear Perfection for Gaming or Typing

Pros: -Fairly quiet typing/gaming experience
-While not always necessary it's nice to know that N-key rollover is there
-Useful function keys
-Exceptionally responsive for gaming

Cons: -The stock keycaps have got to go
-Optimal replacement keycaps, as others have mentioned, seem to be OEM profile limiting choices
-Normally I don't like LEDs at all but not having an indicator on stuff like Caps Lock, Scroll Lock, etc. is a bit of a pain

Other Thoughts: This review is written after having used the Novatouch TKL for ~2 months and having replaced the stock keycaps with Ducky Dye-Sublimated PBT keycaps.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard After Modifications

Pros: At first, I did not like the CM Novatouch because the stock keyboard did not sound or feel as good as my other Topre-switch keyboards, such as the HHKB Pro 2 or Realforce RF87U. However, after installing internal Silencing Rings (not the external rubber O-rings that are fitted to the keycap stems), lubricating the stabilizers, putting foam rubber pads under the spacebar, and swapping out the keycaps with a Ducky dye-sublimated PBT set in OEM profile, the Novatouch was transformed into one of the best keyboards I have ever had the pleasure of using.

Cons: My 4-star rating is based on my opinion that the stock keyboard needs some modifications to realize its full potential. Of course, the keycap exchange is expected -- the novelty of the Novatouch is that it was the first Topre-switch keyboard to be compatible with Cherry-mount keycaps. However, I have found that the Novatouch needs OEM-profile keycaps to avoid bottoming-out noise from the keycaps hitting the switch housing and/or the plate. For those who do not like the bottoming-out noise, being restricted to OEM profile limits keycap choice considerably by ruling out Cherry and Leopold profiles. However, for those who are not bothered by the bottoming-out noise, any Cherry-mount keycaps will work on the Novatouch.

Other Thoughts: After making all the additions, including internal silencing rings, thick PBT OEM-profile keycaps, stabilizer lube, and spacebar pads, I would give the Novatouch 5 stars.

3 out of 5 eggsQuiet but bottoms out harshly

Pros: Smooth mechanical switches, simple TKL design, nice packing, comes with o-rings, slightly quieter than browns, braided modular cable (micro USB)

Cons: The NovaTouch's thin key caps feel "cheap". For the price, I expect higher quality, like double-shot injection caps. My primary complaint though is bottoming out. Fully depressing keys on the NovaTouch keys is jarring -- it feels really unpleasant. The effect is worse than any other mechanical keyboard out there and rivals some of the worst membrane offenders I've used. The keyboard comes with some 2mm 50A(?) o-rings but you can't really tell a difference unless you put on two. Even then, it's very subtle and the bottoming out is still unpleasant. I used some softer, larger o-rings but it still didn't improve the feel much. Because action distance is relatively low, it is difficult to NOT bottom out even if you type very gently so this is a problem. I have returned the keyboard.

Other Thoughts: No backlighting, ten-keyless TKL, compact design. Except for the key caps, seems pretty high quality. Nice packing and additional key picker and o-rings included.

4 out of 5 eggsBest switches for gaming at the moment

Pros: Better for gaming then my previous Razer Black Widow mechanical with Razer Orange Switches. Razers keys were hard to double tap fast with out pressing very precisely and with very light force making sure you did't bottom out.

Cons: Not quite as good for typing then as the Razer Black Window mechanical (which is a Cherry Mx Brown clone). But still better than my old Logitech G19 membrane keyboard in terms for typing and finger strain. Key caps are cheap and fade easy but are also replaceable.

Other Thoughts: Love the switches, hoping for more models using these switches that would include dedicated media keys, USB and back-lighting.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Keyboard ever IMO

Pros: -Quiet
-TKL
-Amazing feel
-Cherry compatible key caps
-Doesnt take up much space

Cons: -No dedicated media keys
-Cable is micro USB, would love to see a mini or proprietary connection
-Not really a big con because its a limitation of the switch but would love back lit keys its hard to see at night

Other Thoughts: Amazing feel to this keyboard there really isn't anything out there like it. A lot of people compare the switches to browns but I personally don't think they feel the same. I wanted a quieter switch didn't really care much for browns so I gambled with this and I love it. I cant describe how the switches feel because its so different but it is amazing. This one is TKL (ten keyless) and I dont really need the numpad unless I am working and I have a work computer for work that has a full keyboard. I don't think I will use another keyswitch other than Topre.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Has both one of the best mechanical switches technology (Topre) and the widest range of customization due to its compatibility with Cherry MX keycaps.

Very solid build, and this includes the choice of a micro-USB connector, which is stronger than a mini-USB. The connector has even some play by design to withstand abuse (but the connection is always firm).

Cons: No CapsLock LED.

A little bit noisy. It will depend on your typing style. Sound dampeners ("O-rings") are provided in the box and you can install them if you want to make the keyboard quieter.

Other Thoughts: Make no mistake: this is currently one of the best keyboards available in the world. The price is consistent with other top of the line keyboards.

If you type a lot, a keyboard like this one is a very good investment. The layout is completely standard, the keys are very smooth, and the tactile feedback lets you know that your key presses are registered. This allows for a faster typing speed and/or less distraction because you will make fewer typos.

The keyboard is rated for 30 millions actuations per key or more, which means it can last a lifetime. You will change your PC several times before you need to replace this keyboard.
