4 out of 5 eggsSweet feel

Pros: 1.) good Feedback/Tactile response for a membrane switch.
2.) Varying level of resistance depending on the key.
3.) Pretty Sturdy
4.) Standard Layout and Keys (no small keys you see on a lot of slim keyboards these days)

Cons: 1.) Keys are a little wobbly
2.) Is louder than most membrane keyboards
3.) The etching feels like it may wear off for a while

Other Thoughts: All in all a great keyboard for $30!

1 out of 5 eggsIt's a Keyboard

Pros: It works.

Cons: Incredibly overpriced. This is not a mechanical keyboard, despite some reviews that might lead you to think it is. You can pop off any key and see the membrane underneath if you cared to check. The keyboard isn't even "clicky", it has a very soft feel on keypress. The tactile response is very low. The whole keyboard feels very cheap. I'd only pick this keyboard up if I needed a spare for some server-kinda build, and only if it was less than $5. Completely overpriced, overrated, and mediocre.

Other Thoughts: It sure is a keyboard. And it works.

5 out of 5 eggsOnly keyboard I'll ever use

Pros: Has the best key action I've ever used. And I've owned just about every mechanical keyboard out there. The Keytronic Classic is like nothing else. Been using the same one for over 5 years now, daily use.

Cons: The lettering on the keys could be more durable.

Other Thoughts: If you like the classic long throw and spacing of an IBM Model M without the clickiness, this keyboard is for you. Great for gaming as well!

3 out of 5 eggsGreat when it doesn't have problems

Pros: I like the look of this keyboard, and the feel of the keys. The keys are spaced apart just right. Some keyboards don't do this correctly and you'll end up hitting keys you don't mean to hit. Not this keyboard. Also, they have that nice slightly curved feel to the edges of the key.

Cons: Bottom left control key went out few months after I had it. Which is very very bad since that ctrl key is what you use to open tabs, copy/paste, etc.... Really a pain to use the other ctrl key now. Also the Page up/Page down keys quit working. There may be others keys that I don't use very much not working. Not sure.

Other Thoughts: Great keyboard - only thing is keys start going out pretty quickly, at least for me. It says lifetime series... I wish I could get it replaced :[

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Solid build. Quality feel.

Cons: The Backspace button does not register about half the time. There are some cosmetic blemishes in the finish from poor plastic injection molding.

3 out of 5 eggsQuality but...

Pros: Solid, quality keyboard with no frills or gimmicks. Does not have a virtual mouse or any of that garbage built in that causes extra devices in device manager. Multiple buttons can be pressed while gaming.

Cons: There is no wrist rest included! This is not a $12 keyboard. It should have a decent cord and a wrist rest for thirty some dollars.

Cord is about 1-2 feet shorter than most. Will not even reach from my desktop (center) to directly next to the desk if the PC is on the floor and not propped up on a table to desk level. Can not route it down and around the back or anything.

Other Thoughts: I know I could get a wrist rest separately if I want one so bad, but I hate those kind that are not attached to the board, they never stay put. Not to mention I constantly shift my board around depending on if I am typing a lot or gaming, etc.

5 out of 5 eggsFinally a Real Keyboard

Pros: Crisp keystrokes, Not one of those want to be mushy laptop key boards. Key layout is the classic L shaped enter key with long easy to reach backspace key. I have been looking for one of these keyboards after going through countless garbage keyboards that the market is currently flooded with. Soft rubber feat on the back of the board ensures it sticks on any surface.
If you love the old classic keyboard feel form the 90's then Keytronics is it.

Cons: Painted on letters are not uniformly white, looks like poor paint mixing quality or just dirty equipment used for painting the keys.

Other Thoughts: Old non-curved, non ergonomic design, but that's just a personal preference. Kind of pricey for a basic keyboard. But no other manufacturer makes one like it and with the same key layout. Hope mines lives up to the reputation of it's claimed durability.

1 out of 5 eggsfailed after 2 years

Pros: Was awesome before it failed. Nice feel. Clean aesthetic

Cons: No idea how it failed. No water spills. Nothing. I never slam the keys. I game but the WASD and space bar keys are fine. Some number keys have failed. Its says Lifetime series but should be called 2 year series.

Other Thoughts: Popped open keys to see that they are sealed and NOT open to circuit board. SO if there was a spill I didnt know about, should still work. Means its a hardware defect.
