4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Usually solid feel and reliable operation. I use the model with the rectangular Enter key and an enlarged Backspace key.

Cons: This "Made in China" nonsense is getting annoying. Ever since Key Tronic sent production to China, the longevity of the product has slipped away.

Other Thoughts: I still recommend Key Tronic keyboards over all others, but am starting to be reserved in that respect. The product quality has diminished in the last several years.

3 out of 5 eggsGood keyboard, poor QC

Pros: This is a pretty decent keyboard for the money. The key feel is excellent and the Ergo technology makes typing easier and more accurate.

Cons: I can only type this now after taking the whole thing apart and blowing out a piece of debris sandwiched between the membrane directly under the 'E' key. Before the pros would've read: This is prtty dcnt kyboard for th mony. Th ky fll is xcllnt...

This seems typical of mass-produced Chinese products, lackluster quality control.

Other Thoughts: I do an extreme amount of typing and finding a good keyboard that isn't a flimsy, lightweight piece of plastic is difficult. While not equal in quality to the old IBM or Dell keyboards, this is probably the best keyboard for the money (QC problems aside).
