5 out of 5 eggsGood keyboard

Pros: Solid keyboard with very springy and responsive keys. Probably the closest thing you can get to a mechanical keyboard without blowing a lot of money.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard

Pros: I own several of these keyboards and have had them for many years. I love the feel of the keystroke - very smooth, and the board has a nice weight to it. It is also not a gargantuan keyboard, so it doesn't take up too much space. If you are looking for a quality PS/2 keyboard that doesn't cost a lot, this is the best value out there

Cons: Minor con is that the backspace key is a normal sized key. I would prefer it to be a double key, but it is really no big deal. Just something minor to get used to.

1 out of 5 eggsQuality Problem

Pros: Could have been a fairly nice keyboard. But it was not to be.

Cons: New out of the box, the spacebar is dead on the right side.

The keyboard is virtually impossible to use.

Other Thoughts: I bought this keyboard about a year ago as a spare. I kept it on the shelf, still shrink-wrapped, until recently. It was there specifically to fill the gap in case I had a failure.

I am and remain a TOTAL fan of Key Tronic. Their Designer P2 is one of the best keyboards -- at any price -- that I ever owned. It was a Designer P2 that failed -- after many years of flawless service -- and which I tried to replace with this model.

Warranty service is obviously not an option. What a disappointment and a waste. I won't buy this model ever again.

5 out of 5 eggsGood product.

Pros: Key Tronic makes good keyboards. This is a cheap one, and nothing special (cant expect extremes at this price) but sturdy. I've used (and am still using) others of this same model, though I prefer (and now use on my primary desktop system) their Designer-P2 model.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I picked up my latest copy of this keyboard as a spare. I always keep a few spares on hand. Some lucky customer might get it if the need arises. My other Key Tronics are unlikely to fail.

5 out of 5 eggsQuality Product

Pros: I have owned this keyboard for 5 years. It works fine and the letters have not even worn off.

Cons: The keys have a little play to them. But, in the 5 years of daily use they still feel like they did on day 1.

Other Thoughts: This is a very inexpensive keyboard that has withstood the test of time. I will buy another one just like it when this one finally wears out. That may be years from now.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard... great price

Pros: I have used these keyboards for years and simply love the look and feel of them.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Great price. Newegg shipping was instantaneous. The keyboard arrived the day after I placed the order. Can't get much faster than that!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent piece of equipment

Pros: Well built.

Just as good as Key Tronic's beige (almond) keyboards.

Cons: None and there probably won't be any.

Other Thoughts: You can save shipping charge by picking it up at the warehouse.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice

Pros: It's still working! Nice feel too.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I appear to be very hard on keyboards. The spills and whacks have been too much for all my previous keyboards except for an ancient Alps with touchpad that still works too. This one is still working at 1-year, 10 months, only problem is bits of food under the spacebar which I could clean out if I tried. I knocked keys off it the other day (with tv remote) and they popped back on easy. Nice hardware.

5 out of 5 eggsA good keyboard

Pros: Nice long cord permits easy placement with a PS2 connector. Keyboards with PS2 connectors are getting harder and harder to find. Nice positive feel when you depress the keys.

Cons: I was disappointed to see that the keyboard was made in China.

Other Thoughts: KeyTronics has been making the best keyboards for many years. This one is no different. It seems to be well constructed and has a very good feel.

The packaging was unbelievable. The box was extremely large. I feel like I could have put 10 or 20 keyboards in that box. Newegg could have saved money by putting it in a smaller box.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Keyboard

Pros: best keyboard..

Cons: L-shaped enter key and small backspace key..

Other Thoughts: i have been using computers for 20 years- i'm a hardware expert.. NO OTHER KEYBOARD MAKER has EVER been able to build a keyboard as good a Key Tronic.. but they've only got basically two keyboards- the "monster" keyboard with the right size enter key and backspace key that's never been as good as this PERFECT one with the
L-shaped and small backspace key.. but for those not used to the small backspace key- it's easy to get used to- and it's well worth it..
