5 out of 5 eggsBest Quality Keyboard

Pros: I've used a keytronic's keyboard for four years at work. This keyboard feels right; keystrokes are crisp, keyboard angle is perfect, and every aspect has a feel of superior quality. Would highly recommend this keyboard for a heavy user.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Newegg is amazing. Released a long order after 10pm on Thursday, December 14th. Had all packages, maybe 8-10, by Wednesday, December 20th. Great job Newegg & UPS.

4 out of 5 eggsGood buy

Pros: No frills keyboard and very durable. I can see this lasting a few years when most boards don't last but a couple months for me.
It has a good solid "click" noise to it when you press a key which is a good thing as i personally like the old "clicky" keyboards as they help increase typing speed and decrease typing errors

Cons: The key stroke isn't what i expected, it's somewhere between a laptop (or slim) keyboard and the old Model M's that are so coveted by enthusiasts.

Other Thoughts: It will take some getting used to especially if your used to slim keyboards (ala laptop style)

1 out of 5 eggsRead Before You Buy!

Pros: None

Cons: Knock-Off Of Keytronics,Ordered 2 one was DOA, both letters and numbers aren't centered on key's, The A is hanging off the left side the 3 is at the very bottom of the key while the 9 is in the middle,Looks like a 4 year old stamped these on.Made in China probally was!

Other Thoughts: Stay Away from this keyboard it's a $XX.XX price for a $.XX item.

4 out of 5 eggsOld-school feel

Pros: Solid, heavy duty feel.

Cons: Loud.

Other Thoughts: This keyboard feels different from all the others I have used in recent memory. Its clunky! I haven't used a keyboard that felt like this in over 10 years.

The keys are very high and they travel far when you press them and they make a noticable clack/clunk sound when pressed. The sound could be a problem in an office environment.

The feel of this keyboard takes some getting used to. Overall, I think ill like it.

5 out of 5 eggsChillin like raspberry ice tea

Pros: This thing rocks… I hit a button and the corresponding letter comes up on the screen!
I mean really, there isn’t much to say about a keyboard. But there are two things that are important to me; Good key action (did I mention this thing rocks), and I hate having to hit a “special button” just to get my function keys to work normally. This is the keyboard for me. No annoying special stuff, just a good working keyboard.

Cons: It doesn’t read my mind and make the words come up on the screen.

Other Thoughts: I had a Key Tronic Lifetime I had a Key Tronic Lifetime Series keyboard for many years and the space bar finally quit on me, I think it was all the gaming. Anyhow, I like this board even more.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, solid 'real' keyboard

Pros: Correctly sized and placed Enter and Backspace buttons. \ is where it should be. Solid build quality, good tactile feedback, classic keyboard curvature.

Doesn't slide around during use.
An absolutely excellent terminal keyboard.

Cons: The linear increase in keystroke pressure during depress takes some getting used to.

A bit pricey for what it is.

Other Thoughts: This is about as close as you can get to the classic IBM/Leading Edge keyboards of the past without dropping 50 large or more on a refurb or remanufacture.

That said, the key pressure works somewhat differently from the old classics so some may dislike it.

While heavy enough to break a toe from a six foot drop, thes are light enough that they will not break your entire foot.

4 out of 5 eggsnot an IBM, but very good

Pros: good feel, even keystrokes, not mushy, very solid build, quieter than a mechanical

I love the curve and the variable key resistance.

Cons: it's not an IBM/Lexmark/Unicomp: not as tactile, solid, or reliable

Other Thoughts: It's not branded, and in fact leaves space for a badge, so it's great for a small build business.

This is the keyboard I'm currently using myself, and I've tried em all!
