4 out of 5 eggsFits the bill.

Comments: This combo has it all: rechargeable mouse, long battery life, good range, PS2 connections (to accomodate KVM switch which rarely handle USB input), effective drivers. From my KVM, I control 3 machines (XP, XPpro, W2k) with these - no problems. Lost 1 point for aesthetics; tired old off-white look.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat combo

Comments: Worked like a charm the minute I plugged it in. I love the rechargable mouse. A great buy for the money.

5 out of 5 eggsRelaxed without relearning...

Comments: I've noticed some reviews are negative concerning the 'pyramid' format. The keys really are different. Makes a difference if you spend more than an hour a day typing. The buy-point here is the mouse... It starts out wireless, but when the batteries are low, hook it up to the usb cable to continue using it while the batteries recharge. This set-up covers everything... wireless, range, mouse battery life, form, function... This Combo is killer!

Comments: This keyboard is really awesome. Works perfectly even at a great distance without skipping anything I type. Even cooler is most of the buttons are programmable and the buttons that can't be programmed are ones you won't even want to change. The mouse is really nice too; never lags.

Comments: Great keyboard and mouse.
But before you buy this keyboard, you should know that this keyboard doesn't help you prevent wrist injury. Everything is same as standard keyboard.
You may end up using the mouse with power cable all the time because it eats up the battery veyr quickly.

5 out of 5 eggsdifferent but not

Comments: I use this keyboard with a different mouse. I like its action pretty well. The layout really isn't different - it's an optical illusion. If you take a sheet of tracing paper and mark the center points of the keys on a standard kbd and lay it over the A4Tech "pyramid" keys, you find out the actual layout is identical. So you touch typists can just close your eyes and type...
. My kbd works from a little over 20 feet, the mouse a bit less.
. For more detail see my review at TechIMO

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: overall this is a pretty good product for little money. I like the fact that when the batteries die, you can simply plug the charger into the mouse and keep going. najames try plugging your charger into the mouse when your keyboard stutters like that (usually means the batteries in the mouse are dead or about to)

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent choice for HTPC

Comments: Just finished building an HDTV-capable HTPC and chose this keyboard and mouse after trying a couple other more expensive units that just did not have the needed range in my livingroom. This one is great, perfect for this purpose...and no missed keystrokes or mouse movements from 20 feet away! Newegg is amazing as always...but I do wish they offered the conventional (non-slanted) keyboard version of this product too.

5 out of 5 eggsKBS-835RP failure

Comments: This is NOT the exact keyboard listed here. I have a KBS-835RP (non RF) that worked very well for a while, maybe 6mo-1yr. Now when you type, it randomly stops typing and requires that you retype repeatedly. It may type ok for a while then goes spastic and you may have to hit the key 6 times to make it type. Then later it types fine again. It makes no difference how hard the key is struck either. I am not suprised its not sold here anymore at Newegg, which is still my preferred parts source. This was the first bad purchase I've made here out of many.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: Just like everyone says, newegg rocks. Got this keyboard a day ago, and it is sweet. Just testing out the range on it, it seemed to be receiving fine from about 30 feet away (2 rooms away!). The keyboard is very comfortable and quiet, although the slanted keys don't seem to make too much of a difference at all. The mouse is fas and responsive, and has lots of cool little shortcuts that pop up when you press down on the scroll wheel. This is the only wireless keyboard/mouse that I've had, but from what I can tell, it's worth every penny and then some. The only problem I can see is what a previous reviewer stated about the battery indicator. It says I'm at 100%, but has always said that, so I'm not sure how accurate it is. But hey, its working fine, so maybe it is!
