3 out of 5 eggsNot a replacement for a split keyboard

Pros: Good keypress feedback, good sound, no useless extra buttons like "browser", "order pizza", "email". I like that the connector is USB with a PS/2 adapter rather than the other way around.

Cons: Coming from a split keyboard (the bog-standard Microsoft Natural that seems to be permanently out of stock these days), this keyboard is just too cramped. It's mostly okay to type on if I'm looking at the keys, but trying to do anything while looking away (type, game, etc) and I find that even the smallest finger movement ends up 2 or 3 keys over where I wanted to be. The tiny right-hand Shift key doesn't improve my mood any either. :-\

Other Thoughts: This would be an awesome keyboard if you're coming from a normal keyboard and want something to alleviate wrist strain. Coming from a "true" split keyboard, the slanty angled keys aren't enough; the whole thing is just too cramped. We'll be keeping ours as backups and trying again to find proper split keyboards... somewhere...

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Incredible keyboard. I've owned one for years, and I don't foresee replacing it with another. I use the \ key a lot (programming + shell use (unix)) and I actually prefer its placement under the Enter key. This keyboard is extremely comfortable. Using any other makes my wrists sore after an hour or so.

Cons: A wee bit loud. Indicator lights too bright for my taste (I'm always putting capacitors into everything I buy).

4 out of 5 eggsGREAT KEYBOARD!!!!!

Pros: I REALLY LIKE this keyboard. I used this model at work for 2 years and it took everything in me to not take that one with me. SO... I ordered the exact same model (this model) for my new job and still love it. It takes very little time to get used to, reduces wrist strain and is ideal for people like me that hate the split keyboard design. Plug in and your ready to type!!!! If you sit and type for a living (or if a big part of your life is typing) this keyboard is awesome.

Cons: NOT GOOD FOR GAMING!!! If you are a gamer this is not the keyboard for you. This is the only reason I won't give it a 5 rating

Other Thoughts: shipping was quick. arrived on time. fully functioning.

1 out of 5 eggsnumber row DOA

Pros: Awesome key layout, has a nice feel. I would have loved to be able to use this keyboard . . . .

Cons: Every number in the top row does not work except for the 5 and 6. I play Starcraft. That's not going to work for me.

5 out of 5 eggsA satisfying keyboard

Pros: The keys are firm and produce a very satisfying click while typing. The keyboard is fully compatible with Mac OS X and you can assign the Windows and Alt keys to Alt and Command, respectively, to have a traditional Mac keyboard layout.

Cons: The large enter key takes up the space properly occupied by backslash. This is pretty annoying as a working programmer, and forces me to remap forward slash to backslash when working with TeX. It is a major flaw in an otherwise solid design.

Other Thoughts: The keyboard is solid and comfortable. My only complaint is that the Enter key displaces the backslash, making it difficult for working with TeX and some programming languages.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Keyboard!

Pros: Incredibly comfortable, excellent feedback from the keys, and feels very sturdy.

Cons: None that I can think of, it's a keyboard. As long as they are comfortable and work what problem can anyone have?

5 out of 5 eggsWorth the $$

Pros: Large Enter key, large Backspace key, the home keys feel right, just like I prefer. I'm a 'touch' typist and the key top curvature and positive quiet tactical feedback makes them a winner for me. I just bought another one for home. Used one at work for over a year and no problems.

Cons: Nothing at all.

Other Thoughts: I've used lighter flimsier ones that cost more....only for a little while...

Interesting that the shipping cost is almost as much as the keyboard. They did get it to me pronto.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Keyboard

Pros: I've been using these for several years and I'm very happy. I find the slanted keys to be outrageously comfortable, but the configuration is not so weird that I can still work a standard keyboard without a problem. That was the problem I had with the "split" designs: after a few days of typing on a split, a standard keyboard took a little time to feel normal again.

The price is a huge plus. I've destroyed two of these by spilling drinks on them and thanks to the price, I never feel too bad about it.

It has a small footprint and no extraneous keys (who uses the multimedia keys anyway?).

Cons: It's not spill-proof! =)

Other Thoughts: I wish, wish, wish that this came in a wireless configuration.

3 out of 5 eggsFeels Cheap

Pros: All the keys work. Kinda like the ergonomic shape of the keys.

Cons: Feels very cheap - Both, in touch and in action.

Other Thoughts: Don't remember what I paid for this - Hope it wasn't much.
