Great Keyboard
- Pros: The touch and response of the keys are exactly what I was looking for. Unlike other keyboards where the keys have a limited contact area with the spring, this keyboard has the maximum support needed. After hitting the space key for years it won't be wobbly and unresponsive.
- Cons: I've read other posts about the blank key. It isn't just a blank key, but the key has no function in the keyboard. I used a key mapping software to find out which keys were being pressed, and the blank key has zero response. There was no signal being created by pressing that key. If you're going to bother putting a key on the board, at least have a signal coming from it being pressed so we can map it to do anything we like with it.
Having said that, the blank key is nothing more than an irritant and can easily be overlooked.
- Other Thoughts: With or without remapping the keys, this keyboard works great with both Mac and PC. If you are going to remap the keys for a PC, it is a different experience.
Loved it~
- Pros: I loved this keyboard. I had it for over 2 years with no problems. I used it with my iMac. ALSO, this keyboard works with BOOTCAMP, which means you can use it on both the Mac AND Windows Partition, which the standard macintosh keyboards do NOT support.
- Cons: The shift key fell off after 2 years of using it.
- Other Thoughts: Some of the keys turned yellow after a year+ of usage, but this didn't affect performance.
Broken after one day
- Pros: X-structure keys feel really good. Attractive looking. Works great with PC (in part thanks to SharpKeys).
- Cons: Lettering is way too small (the smallest I've ever seen). The PgDn key broke after one day's use.
