2 out of 5 eggsCheapo

Pros: Affordable, not *too* big, and keys don't feel *too* bad

Cons: Compared with the similar MacAlly icekey, this is terrible. Keys are much louder, general build feels flimsy. Symbols are screened onto the keys using some weird material that's not sharp and has a funny grip-tape type of feel. WAY too much "chrome" around the outside -- unnecessary plastic that makes the keyboard about 25% bigger than it needs to be.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes not work under Bootcamp...

Pros: Nice consistent apple keyboard feel without paying for Apple's $$$ ones.

Cons: Doesn't work in Bootcamp. I game under bootcamp and wanted to pound on the external rather than my laptop keyboard. MacAlly doesn't have PC drivers for it.

5 out of 5 eggsThink of it as a disposable keyboard

Pros: Needed a keyboard for the Mac in my lab, and this was the cheapest. The white keys aren't ideal for hiding stains, but the price itself is worth using this keyboard until it doesn't work anymore before discarding it. So far, the keys feel great, every function on it works and it is a simple plug-n-play. I don't foresee any durability issues.

Cons: Would have loved it better in black to hide stains.

Other Thoughts: Took only 24 hours from ordering to the shipment appearing outside my office door. Excellent!

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad for the money

Pros: Refusing to spend $50 on the Apple keyboard, I decided to give this one a shot. While it’s definitely not the highest-end keyboard on the market, it is sufficient. The shortcut keys (i.e. mute, volume, and eject) work great. Also, the built-in USB hub is a nice feature.

Cons: I agree with a previous poster in that the 1” border is excessive; it makes the keyboard look huge. Additionally, the paint on the keys looks faded right out of the box. I bet that the paint will be fully faded within a year. Also, the keys are extremely loud. It’s actually pretty annoying. As I write this review, I find that the loud key feedback is worth at least another star demerit.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for. At this price, don't expect an Apple-quality keyboard.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Keyboard

Pros: Works fine, keys feel great to type on.

Cons: The USB ports don't supply enough power to many devices, and sometimes they start acting like USB 1.1 ports. Also sometimes OSX needs to re-detect the keyboard.

Other Thoughts: Good if you just need a cheap keyboard, but I would pay a little more for something better.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It is a somewhat slim usb keyboard with 2 ports.

Cons: Cheap. It is slim, but has nearly a 1" boarder going around the sides. The 2 USB ports come out the back towards the right hand side which IMHO is not ideal. The keys don't feel right in a cheap sort of way.

Other Thoughts: Is marketed for MACs but it looks just like any other cheapo PC keyboard, and I doubt it has any added functionality.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good for the price

Pros: Native Macintosh layout/buttons, casing very ridged, matches most current mac models, flat keys are always cool!

Cons: Not true "scissor keys", keys can be a bit stiff, USB ports are only on the right, casing/edge can be intrusive(depressed keys go at or below edge level)

Other Thoughts: Though this is many times better than the USB keyboard it's replacing, it's still not the best. I believe I would of preferred a standard keyboard over a slim style, but this is in no way a "bad" keyboard.
