5 out of 5 eggsgreat board

Pros: great board for gaming and typing. i use this board on my lap and lean it against something when not in use. i have had it for about 3 years with no probs at all!

Cons: to me the software is very buggy. takes too long to load, if not in an admin user area does not load (if i remember correctly). so i do not use the software! i assign keys in-game.

Other Thoughts: i wish there were some F-keys up around the number keys. i would rather have those than media keys, they are useless to me. i use those in game also, now i have a long reach.

5 out of 5 eggsGood - Better then others

Pros: This is for games. The keys can be reassign Like I personally hate the left hand window Key. When I play some games and accidentally hit that key the game will minimize or even freeze. So I just assign the key as Space.

Cons: Numeric Keypad mixed with other standard Keys like home, Del. ETC so you have a choice Numeric Keypad or the other functions.
I don't use a numeric keys as much so I use standard DEL. Home ETC keys.

Other Thoughts: I read some bat reviews like some complain how bad the board is. That stops working. Well The only problem I had when the Vista come out there was no support for the board but the same problem was with any other company that makes gaming keyboards. I have no problem never locks up, freezes or some key don't work.

3 out of 5 eggsNice keyboard, bad interface

Pros: The keyboard is a nice with the buttons not so rocky firm, definantly doesn't feel cheap. The gaming buttons on the left are a nice touch for various games, like Counter Strike and Halo and the shortcut keys work splendidly.

Cons: Various important keys, like delete, Page Up, Page Down are only functional when you turn off the Num Lock. A very bad design and very awkward.

Other Thoughts: Just get a standard type keyboard with a wrist pad and a Ideazon FANG or just get a Zboard. I gave it a 3 because it is not an absolute loss, just the inconvenience of some button placements.

2 out of 5 eggsIdeazon- here's an idea, make a better board!

Pros: Looks nice. Keys, for the most part, feel nice. In the rare moment that it does work, it can be a solid board.

Cons: You don't realize how dependent you are on the num key pad until you use this board. The num look works 10% of the time and then suddenly stops out of the blue. Rebooting doesn't help, and it's hard as heck to find suitable drivers for this board on their website or cd included.
Some of the keys conflict when using the gaming keypad. Maybe my hands are a little bigger than others... The worst is being in the middle of Call of Duty game and then the board just resets and my screen in the game keeps scrolling to the right nonstop! Utterly frustrating because I can't do anything but move right or stay still by trying to move left. I'm stuck shooting in one position. This cannot be tolerated when I have enemy fire raining down on me and my comrades: they depend on me!

Other Thoughts: I really want to like this board. Hell, I spent $40 at Be*tbuy for this board. I work hard for my money and if I wanted to waste it I would've gave it to the red cross.
I hope Ideazon uses that $40 for some Research and Development and revamp this board to an acceptable gaming instrument! Otherwise, I find it hard to purchase their boards, even if they surpass this one.

1 out of 5 eggsWorst Keyboard Ever

Pros: Nice layout, love the L handed button grouping

Cons: Everything else, this is the worst keyboard every come across id rather steal an old dos keyboard from the 80s and use over this, the group of keys in the L handed grp r keyed to normal functions buttons some in which are used for the main things u do or add secondary functions (ie my chat button has to be L alt, where in game hold down alt bring up all my menus when in combination with other moves, I play WoW i can i couldnt heal if my life depended on it i quickly went back to the keyboard i had to steal from work just to get by when it came to even things as easy as just chatting with my girlfriend. even worst is that everyone on the community site had no idea what they were doing im not alone on this, and how this board has so much positive reviews baffles me.

1 out of 5 eggsNice try

Pros: It's nice that they wanted to make a keyboard for gamers.

Cons: 1) Not a very well designed keyboard, so you wouldn't want it to be the only one on a computer that you also use for non-gaming purposes.

2) The software.

Other Thoughts: Gaming keyboards should not be OS specific. Yes, 99.9% of gamers use Windows. But, if you want to guarantee that it works with every game (Windows or not) you have to make its function completely transparent to the OS.

More and more people are playing Windows games with Wine and Cedega on Macs and Linux.

5 out of 5 eggsController May Price higher

Pros: I get higher jumps! It is a friendly design, that has taught this console junky how to ride on a game pc. Cost is relative to a wired 360 hook up.

Cons: Buy the one with a mouse for a marginal amount, and optimal reward for the fiat dough.
Vendors I demand new games now.

Other Thoughts: Media controls are a plus too, no batteries tee he tee he. You dished what for a what and you gonna chump on a nice ride?

5 out of 5 eggsadvantageous

Pros: butterfly WASD layout is awesome. Has lots of keys in good locations to step up your gaming skill. It takes a little getting used after using a normal keyboard for so long. I has a full keyboard to the right of the game pad. Tons of game configurations in the software, plus the option to totally customize them. Nice key response. Decent media controls.

Cons: Its long, which I knew before buying. Takes up quite a bit of RAM. Not all of the Media Keys work right. Not that big of a deal though since I dont really use them much.

Other Thoughts: I am really happy with this keyboard. I definately recommend it. I only wish I had gotten the backlit version though, since I do alot of my gaming in the dark.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for gamimg

Pros: Most definitely aids in playing games. I'm might still be struggling at the climax of H-L2, Ep. 2 if I was still using a conventional keyboard.

Cons: This keyboard has pre-sets for many games, and those games not listed can have pre-sets downloaded, but in the case of Infernal, this wasn't much help.

Other Thoughts: The advantages greatly outweigh any disadvantages. It lives up to its promise.

4 out of 5 eggsFat Fingered Foe Overcome !

Pros: It works ! .. Dead solid reliable .. crazy software actually works .. a few complaints but, overall a good gaming keyboard.

Cons: My fat fingers had difficulty adjusting to this keyboard. Glad i did though. As a typer this keyboard isn't great. I'd rate is just barely usable. The keys have a "dead" feel them while typing. As a gamer, everything works great ! Must have Microsoft Dot Net installed on your computer. bummer

Other Thoughts: MACROS ! yeah this keyboard has it . Up to sixteen . (i think) Had mine for almost a year. Very pleased with its gaming fortitude ! I've worn the "paint" off some of the keys. Would buy again.
