Needs a better user manual
- Pros: The keyboard worked out of the box after installing the software. Includes profiles for many games (but not as many as I had hoped).
The "game pad" area seems to be well thought out, with some larger buttons and a pretty good layout.
Includes three programmable "hot keys".
- Cons: The "manual" is not very good. I'd like to learn more about the keyboard, but it seems that I'll need to hit some forums or something to get this information because the manual is lame.
Have not tried the mouse or headset. They both look cheap, but are probably good for backups or something.
I do not like how the number keys on the right side of the keybaord were combined with the arrow keys and the other keys (Insert, Home, Delete, etc). I suspect they did this to keep the width closer to a normal keyboard, but it would have been better if they had used a normal layout for the right side of the keyboard.
I've been playing games using a regular keyboard for about 20 years and the transition to a different type of keyboard is more of a challenge than I had thought it would be.
- Other Thoughts: Not sure how to create new profiles yet. For games without a profile, I am stuck using the ASDW keys instead of the game pad area. This does not help me transition to a new key layout because I'm using different keys for different games. The whole idea was to use only one layout for all games. I know that I'm missing something, but again the manual is pretty much useless.
In retrospect, I probably would have been better off getting a gaming keyboard with a "normal" layout (and programmable macros) rather than one with the "game pad" area.
The software needs to be installed and running in order for everything to work correctly. This keyboard is not for people who like to keep the number of background programs to a minimum. I know this is normal for this type of peripheral device and modern computers should be albe to handle a little extra overhead, but that does not mean that I have to like it.
kinda crumy
- Pros: silent keys...comes with keyboard mouse and headset, inexpensive
- Cons: the mouse clicks loud. the software is no longer officially available by the manufacturer. the 4th button on the mouse doesn't configure. the side gaming pad isn't comfortable for wow gaming. the arrow keys on the keyboard are located directly under the number pad(kinda inconvenient).THE HEADSET HURTS YOUR HEARS(not because of sound but because the plastic pinches your ears).
- Other Thoughts: I wouldn't buy another one...spend a little more and get something that is still supported by its manufacturer
A+
- Pros: Plug and Play! Looks Okay, ALOT OF HOTKEYS and works as it should.
- Cons: No LED :(
- Other Thoughts: Im running a
