2 out of 5 eggsMisleading, disappointment

Pros: Well, once I figured out how to program them, I am able to save a few key sequences (how often do you use the scroll lock and pause/break key?) And if I really need them I can deactivate the profile.

Cons: Nothing in the info I read or pictures indicated that the programmable keys replace existing keys. There are 6 programmable keys, and the pictures showed 6 dots across the top (3 on each side). Since it didn't say that you could only program existing keys, I figured those dots were the "T" keys.

Also disappointing: There seems to be no way to edit macros. ALL you can do is move things up and down, and change the delays (BUT only to make them higher). I don't actually want this for gaming, I wanted to be able to quickly enter some key sequences... faster than I can type them to record. Well, too bad. As I said, I can make it slower, but not faster. AND if I want to change the sequence, I have to restart -- I can't edit it. (I'm sure there IS a way -- you can save the definition and it's an ASCII file, but there's no doc on the coding.)

Support: Takes about a week to get a response to an email... and when I asked about cutting down the macro delay, after waiting for a long response (and I think I then had to correct the response, when they told me about adjusting it and I told them that it only increases it), they said they'd have to send it to their overseas engineering team... that was almost 3 weeks ago.

Another disappointment I was aware of -- no left side windows key.

Other Thoughts: Looks like their CHP001US keyboard may address most of the above... except the editing of macros, but I'm not buying another keyboard... for a little more than I paid for this one. IT has dedicated programmable keys and appears to have all the normal keys.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: The keyboard works great and looks awesome with my mouse. I didn't think the extra fan for the keyboard would be useful, but I do use it.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Just a good low cost keyboard.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fan on keyboard to cool palm and finger. Very weak fan, but you feel it.

Cons: Cheap, and flimsy. The plastic material is very thing and looks aesthetically unpleasing to the eyes. The keyboard buttons are very soft to press so when gaming you may accidently press a button. Not to mention that it also ghosts after a few keys. This is not close to a real gaming keyboard besides the few macros that can be programmed.

Other Thoughts: Not worth the price I paid for it. Buy something else.

4 out of 5 eggsgood for the money

Pros: it works well and the fan is a plus

Cons: the fan could' ve been better and the pulsating light needs an off switch also when my comp goes into sleep mode the keyboard dose not come back on with it other then that its a good cheap keyboard i gave it for stars because i do like it just wish the quality would at least be up to par with modern keyboards

5 out of 5 eggsGood value

Pros: Low Cost, USB Port, feels solid, visually appealing, comfortable for typing, good angle

Cons: No windows key on the left side. Sort of annoying if you are used to using Win+D

Rather light, so it kind of feels cheap in a way

Other Thoughts: I haven't bothered to install the software yet, so I cannot speak for the fan. It seemed somewhat gimmicky, but isn't a bother if you don't want to use it

Overall, would recommend

5 out of 5 eggsBest budget gaming keyboard

Pros: Inexpensive, well-built, solid feel of the keys, fan palm-cooler :). After trying out some gaming keyboards, mostly for Logitech, Razer and Microsoft, I have to say I'm quite impressed by this keyboard. Would definitely buy again.

Cons: The only thing I can complain about is that the icons for the on-screen display are plain ugly. Other than that I haven't experienced the stability issues others are having. Running Windows 7 with Intel Core i3 2120 here.

Oh and it's not a mechanical keyboard for those people that like that.

Other Thoughts: I think a lot of people, including myself, are just wasting money on a lot of the supposedly pro equipment, even some of Thermaltake high-end stuff. Both this keyboard and the Thermaltake Azureus mouse can keep up easily with my Razer peripherals at half the price.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Nice keyboard, good response time
-Fan is actually a really nice addition, as it helps my sweaty hands

Cons: None? I don't really know that much about keyboards, to be honest. It's a well put together piece. It looks cool. I'd like if it would support a second fan, but even one fan plus a usb output is more than I could ask for in a keyboard

Other Thoughts: Tt esports sponsers Team Prime and White-Ra. I will continue to buy Thermaltake and Tt-esports as long as they continue to support Starcraft 2 esports. MKP Hwaiting!
