3 out of 5 eggsMixed fealings

Pros: If your not a keyboard smasher its fine. Nice look, nice feel. Really adds to game gaming atmosphere with all my red lights and clear case. I get ooo's and ahhhh's when I show my friends my setup.

Cons: It's not mechanical. Customer support does not exist. No forums and hard to find a phone number for Thermaltake.

Other Thoughts: I am slowly moving over to Linux and this keyboard has stopped me for now. With valve moving over to Linux and more games being designed for Linux, I don't think I will support Thermaltake any more since they seem to lock the keyboard out of Linux. The Keyboard works in bios, grub and windows, moment Linux tries to start up the keyboard keyboard turns off. Keyboard even works and lights up when the computer is off. I wanted thermaltake to put their forums back up so they could actually help people with their problems, but it seems its a no go. So in the future I will not be buying power supply's, cases mouses and keyboards. I will also not be using them for my customers when they want a cool machine. Unless Thermaltake smartens up a little.

3 out of 5 eggsIf only...

Pros: - Very comfortable to use
- Adjustable backlight is great
- Very lightweight

Cons: - The software is not great at all
- Isues with shorting out

Other Thoughts: I've had the keyboard for about a year and a half and it just died, again. I say again because about 5 months after I purchased it, it just suddenly stopped working. I e-mailed tTesports on their webpage and they sent me a label to ship it to them, which I did. It came back pretty quick, I think it was within 2 weeks or so and it worked again, for about 5 months and it did the same thing. Sent it back to them and then they sent me a refurbished replacement, which is now dead again.

It really sucks because I loved the keyboard, but have no desire to shell out another 100 bucks on a keyboard that's going to die that often on my.

I type a good bit for school and do play games such as DOTA 2, Starcraft, and the like, but I'm not hard on the keyboard, not someone who beats on it or antyhing. I won't complain about their customer service, though. They were really prompt in getting back to me. Too bad their keyboard doesn't want to work for more than 5 or 6 months at a time :(

2 out of 5 eggsDidn't Last, NO Customer Support

Pros: - Customization
- The "feel" of typing
- LED backlighting
- Macro settings
- Looks stylish

Cons: - After 4 months, two keys had broken after general cleaning of keyboard. The clear plastic clips they use to hold the keys onto the board are very fragile and will break on you even if you use the included tool to remove them.

- The USB cord is not designed to last. After 8 months of ownership the USB cord has started to short out. Any time the keyboard is bumped, it disconnects from the PC and will not work again until the cord is removed and reconnected several times. It's getting worse and I fear I may soon be without a keyboard.

- Customer support. I have emailed the customer service department about my issues three times and filled out an online support ticket twice over the course of the last three months. I have gotten no response whatsoever. Due to this alone I have urged everyone I know not to purchase any electronics from Thermaltake. A company that hides from it's warranty and customer's problems is not a company I will continue to support or allow my friends to support.

Other Thoughts: If I would have recieved an email back saying something like, "We rarely see USB cords go out, but here is a replacement - and a replacement letter key is $5 from this URL..." then this review would be going a lot differently. However, as I said... no response.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard!

Pros: - Comfortable feel when using.
- Almost any color you want as your backlight!
- Macro keys on the side a huge bonus for gamers.
- Decent size so it won't take up even the smallest of computer desks.
- Comes with a fan that cools your hands down during intense gaming.
- Audio jacks and 2 USB ports.
- Sleek design.

Cons: - Software is buggy and very slow.
- The audio jacks are either very crummy for headsets or I just got a keyboard with bad audio jacks. Works great with speakers though.

Other Thoughts: Haven't had a problem ever since I got the keyboard. Works great, feels comfortable (may be just me though), and its backlight is very customizable. Hopefully they'll fix the software soon so it's not as slow as it is now.

4 out of 5 eggsCould be better... Not sure how though

Pros: Has a good key stroke feed back.
Love the lights(I hate lights most the time).
Tons of light colors with dimming on all of them.
It has a fan..... All though I have never used it.

Cons: The software is my biggest complaint. It is slow starting up. Slow setting macros slow changing led's. Getting the picture. Also windows wants to set the audio as your keyboard. So your speakers will stop working. Not a big deal but might save someone a few minutes knowing this. Also the cord is a pain to tuck into the keyboard.

Other Thoughts: Overall I to enjoy this keyboard. Wish it had cherry red's though. But worth the price in my option.

MY specs are
2600k @ 4.6 Custom loop
16 gig @ 2133
Intell SSD
570's X2

1 out of 5 eggsLaptop keys

Pros: The lighting choices are kinda cool, even though a lot of the colors look the same.

Cons: The keys are the same as older laptops, too easy to hit the wrong key. No distance between them. After a couple of months, some of the keys either stopped working or had to be pressed hard to activate. Very frustrating in game.

Other Thoughts: Straight to the garbage for this keyboard....

1 out of 5 eggsDon't be fooled by the the pictures

Pros: Nice Looking

Cons: Despite the pictures on the listing Keys are "Slim" keys, absolute garbage to type on.

Other Thoughts: A Co-worker and I have been looking for a good keyboard with nice looks and full size keys, plus multimedia and other options. I was excited by this listing, it was cool looking and had nice features, the reviews are stellar, where could I go wrong.

Well I guess I didn't look close enough at the pictures, because they are misleading. With the back-lighting it makes it look like the keys are large full-height keys. The moment I opened the package my heart sunk though. These are the same garbage keys that you find on all the "Slim" keyboards these days!

I tried the keyboard for 5 minutes and then immediately packed it back up. This was NOT what I wanted, or what I thought I was getting!

5 out of 5 eggsCheap, works, and looks quite nice

Pros: It was only 64$ with free shipping so I was happy to see a moderately gamer based keyboard without the atrocious prices the real ones are. The custom back light is cool and easy to change. The added on-board fan is cool, but freezes my hands more than keeps them at a comfortable temperature

Cons: Minor, minor things, I wish it was possible to change the back-light on different portions of the keyboard ( although maybe i just never look enough). As well as the fans not freezing my fingers slowing down my optimal performance. There was also a screw that feel out within the first hour of using it, and it looked as if the hole wasn't even threaded. However i'm sure the other billion screws will hold it together.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard

Pros: This keyboard is well made and looks nice. The keys are easy to change out and pressing them is very responsive thanks to the mechanical design. The macro keys are well placed and I like that I am able to assign them to perform tasks outside of a game by just using the software. The fan is a nice touch as is the onboard USB and headphone/mic ports.

Cons: Minor issue but the backlight color defaults to red unless a profile is made. It may be just my computer but loading a profile does take a bit of time but not really a big deal.
