5 out of 5 eggskeyboard

Pros: It works as a keyboard should. The mouse is nice to have a spare around.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: This is a really nice keyboard. I've been using this same one for several years, and have never had any problems till I spilled beer on it(my bad). I also really like the shorcut buttons. they work great and no drivers required...

4 out of 5 eggsworks well

Pros: I purchased this for a computer system that I custom built for a friend of mine. It still works today and that was back in 2006, so you can see it has last over 5 years. The keyboard works well and is perfect for someone who needs most hot keys on a board.

Cons: The mouse looks kind of cheap, but it does work well.

Other Thoughts: For $25 bucks, you cannot beat it. One thing that is odd however, is that when I bought it on 1/27/2006, it was just $19.99, now it is $24.99.

4 out of 5 eggsRe-review

Pros: Looks great, lasts longer than you need it, comes with a great looking mouse.

Cons: Keyboard isn't quite standard so it may take a little to get used to (has an oversized enter button that changes the standard configuration a little). Mouse is a bit strange feeling at first but you get used to it as well. Mouse light also doesn't go off when you turn off computer.

Other Thoughts: GREAT buy. I've had this keyboard for about a year and a half now, looks almost new still, works great. And I'm on the computer typing for most of the day, so I have definitely given it a work out.

I didn't expect the mouse to last at all, but it didn't have problems until about a year after. The scroll wheel liked to fight against me and the paint was starting to wear where my fingers touched it. Even still the mouse still works, though I finally traded it in for a proper gaming mouse.

All in all, really solid set up, great deal.

1 out of 5 eggsbad mouse

Pros: its cheap and it looks cool.

Cons: after 2 months of use the mouse scroll wheel is broken. It has a very bright light that doesnt go out when the computer is off i have to cover it up or i cant sleep in my small apartment, its very bright.

the driver comes on a floppy and is corrupted, I had to dig around on the net to find the driver wasnt plug and play for me.

Other Thoughts: youre getting what you pay for, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

4 out of 5 eggsDepands on what you used to

Pros: Nothing to do with being Guru or not. Nice eye appealing combo. KB works just fine.

Cons: The mouse for me is too squashy on either button. I tried to adjust the sensitivity, however, no cigar...

Quite often I clicked on folder to open and unless the mouse if absolutely still, it won't. Using Windows Explorer, Power Desk, Speed Commander, Magellan Explore to manage files it doesn't matter.

Other Thoughts: Not a big deal, just get a different mouse.

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice looking!

Pros: Exactly what you see in the picture, nice looking mouse encased in a plastic to give it a cool glass look, nice bright blue light on the bottom. Very nice looking set for any silver themed computer! Very sturdy, looks like good solid keyboard. And of course I always love the volume control on keyboards, and if you like shortcuts, this keyboard has room for lots of them.

Cons: I've only just gotten it so none yet :) People complain the light is a little bright- If you like blue, you'll find this the least of your complaints for a practically free mouse.

Doesn't light up blue like my husband's- Also wasn't as expensive either and wasn't particularly looking for a light up. Just being nitpicky.

Other Thoughts: Excited to use it with my Apevia silver & blue case when it gets here! Should look great together. Very mod, smooth lookin' case. Well worth the buy.

4 out of 5 eggsSweet

Pros: Every thing worked great out of the box and very responsive. Keyboard has a good solid feel to it as does the mouse. Very good for a silver and black computer set up.

Cons: The blue light on the mouse is to bright, though I do like it. Just a bit dimmer please.

5 out of 5 eggssturdy keyboard/moust

Pros: Cheap keyboard that is quite sturdy and well layed out. Many different colors to choose from if you want something other than the boring black keyboard.
Multimedia buttons on top (play/pause, stop, volume, forward...) are very convenient if you watch movies or listen to music a lot on your computer.
Mouse wire is very thin and doesn't make the mouse feel heavy. It's also very long so you have PLENTY of room to move around without getting hung up on the wire. Feels as nice as a wireless without having to worry about batteries.

Cons: Key's are a tad large, but it's never bothered me. If you're used to tiny laptop keyboards, it'll take some getting used too.

Also, the left mouse button stuck once, but i was hitting it pretty hard and it only took a few light taps to unstick it. wasn't really worth second thought.

Mouse has a bit of an unusual shape, but is more comfortable IMHO.

Other Thoughts: Have owned for 2+ years and keyboard and mouse are still running strong. Lasted longer than my first computer and is now hooked up to my newest. My younger brother has gone through three keyboard mouse set-ups in the same period of time i've owned this one. I personally prefer wired keyboards and mouses because i don't have to worry about batteries. This one actually has fairly nice looking wires. Looks sort of like braided fiber optic cables.

WELL worth the $20 i spent on this. There's absolutely no reason to spend more on a fancy set up when this works equally as well and will last longer than you'll ever need it.
