3 out of 5 eggsNot for gaming

Pros: Convenient size - compact but not uncomfortably tiny.
Touchpad is a good space-saver by removing need for mouse.

Cons: Left/right click keys are a little stiff (may loosen with time???)

Situational cons:
Awkward key placements - grave/tilde by space bar
Some narrow keys - ctrl/alt, tab, caps, shift
No right ctrl

Difficult to get accustomed to for gaming purposes.

Other Thoughts: I got this for my first desktop computer after a long line of gaming laptops, so I was looking for an integrated touchpad.

Wouldn't recommend for gaming due to some odd key placements. Have rebound some hotkeys in my game but am limited to a choice of alt/ctrl/shift for a certain function, and am used to alt being immediately next to space - the grave/tilde being there on this board is highly inconvenient in this situation.

For general purpose it is very nice, though. The keys get quieter with use, being "broken in."

3 out of 5 eggsWait for a sale

Pros: Small form factor. Touchpad. 6 foot PS/2 cord is long enough to allow lap / off-desktop use with pc - kick back in tilt chair with feet up. Windows 7 installed basic drivers. Basic features work great.

Cons: Expanded touchpad features require hunting down and D/L additional software from Adesso website and is a little buggy. Uninstalled after playing with it a few hours. I suppose one could get accustomed to it if determined enough.

Key travel is pretty long. Dropped letters common for me.

Keys are still noisy despite mfg claim of "quiet membrane" transport.

Kinda cheap looking and feeling plastic. Expected higher quality for the asking price.

Other Thoughts: If you need / want / have to have a toupad keyboard with wired ps/2 conectivity and can pick it up on a promo code sale this is the one.

Got this on promo sale ~$32. I'd have been willing to pay a little bit more for higher quality and better design, but this is the best I could find.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent debug tool

Pros: Small & light.
Embedded touchpad eliminates separate mouse & cord.

Cons: A bit flimsy; while this hasn't caused key misfires yet I wouldn't be surprised if it happens after heavy use.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this as a debug keyboard for my collection of vintage pieced together systems. I always keep a PS/2-to-USB adapter so I can access any motherboard.
Had to give up the PC-AT interface but I really don't want to power up the old 486 boxes any more. ;)

Pros: Small size, easy to use, trackpad built in. It works as advertised and has a quality feel

Cons: The price is probably a tad high for a keyboard.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks OK, mouse pad/buttons can be an issue

Pros: Install went fine. Installed on a switch box and directly, no problems with setup.

Cons: The mouse keypad/buttons need to be pressed just right. I find myself having to hit them a couple of times in order for them to register. Not too huge of an issue since this is on my servers switch box and I am hardly using a mouse on it.

4 out of 5 eggsNice small sized keyboard

Pros: Built in touchpad, small size, nice feel. Pefect for saving desk space if you don't require a ten key number pad or mouse.

Cons: If there was a wireless version, I'd give it five eggs.

5 out of 5 eggsCompact spare keyboard

Pros: Compact, good feel.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Picked this up to have a spare keyboard/mouse (well, touchpad) that would be easy to store when not in use. Primarily targeted at the few times a year that one of my rackmount machines needs a kdb/mouse connected for tweaking the BIOS settings or for an OS installation.

5 out of 5 eggsNice little keyboard

Pros: This is a nice little keyboard. It has a great "key feel" to it, and the touchpad is convenient, too.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: We're using this for a "media server" computer that doesn't see much direct keyboard input, but when you every once in a while, you need to have use a keyboard.
