5 out of 5 eggsFlexible Keyboard

Pros: I like a full sized keyboard. Because this is flexible, it can ride in my laptop case without bother. Some complain about the resistance in the keys, but as a writer, I like having to punch the keys.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Functional, that's it's best attribute.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible response

Pros: None.

Cons: Terrible response. The keys have to be pushed, not just struck as on a "hard" keyboard, and even then no character is produced about 3 times out of 10. I gave it 1 egg, only because the software wouldn't let me give it 0.

3 out of 5 eggsWorked great for 1 year

Pros: The keyboard was as it promised to be, it needed a little wooden stand built for it so it had the right ergonomic tilt, but that was really not a big deal. I used the keyboard in a laboratory where dirt samples are tested and the guy using the keyboard is not a touch typist. His dirty hands would ruin normal keyboards about yearly so this thing being durable to dirt was a big plus. I have a second one in an oil lab where they commonly spill mild acid on it, it keeps on ticking.

Cons: The first keyboard made it to 1 year 3 months (manufacturer warranty is 1 year) before failure. The keys at the top of the keyboard stopped working. I'm a little disappointed that the "indestructible keyboard" could only make it a year with typical wear and tear.

3 out of 5 eggsPartially not working.

Pros: Got it quickly, works like it supposed to for the most part.

Cons: The entire keyboard works fine except for the number keys, and some work but 1-4 and 7-0 don't work. The keys are picky, meaning you have to hit directly in the center of the key or else it might not register.

Other Thoughts: Now that I think about it, shouldn't have spent this much on this. I mean it works great for what it is, but not worth the price. Especially since it doesn't work exactly.

1 out of 5 eggsLike typing with thick gloves on? You'll love this

Pros: It's flexible and it's waterproof, like it says.

Cons: It takes a lot of force to get the keys to actuate. It makes typing pretty slow. Also, take a look at the left-side Shift key and the Enter key in the picture. For some reason, they're split into two different buttons, which can be annoying depending on your typing style.

Other Thoughts: this is n exmple of me attmpting to tye on this keyboar with normal amount of orce on he keys.

3 out of 5 eggsAlmost not worth the hassle.

Pros: Durable.
Very flexible.
Water proof, so far.

Cons: Very difficult to type on.
I only use this when I need to go where carrying a lot of bulky equipment would be a hassle.

As a long time gamer and home-row typist, I can guess that my ability to type is on par with the next guy in my generation. I also use a variety of keyboards throughout my line of work every day: desktop mid/full size, laptop, and netbook keyboards.

Even still, I can not accurately type on this keyboard without pecking the keys and using considerably more force and concentration as opposed to a non-rubberized key set.

It also picks up a fair bit of dirt and gunk but can be washed.

Other Thoughts: It's a trade-off.
If you can, avoid this and just use a solid-type keyboard if you don't want to pull your hair out trying to type.
Otherwise, this thing is compact-able, rugged, and gets the job done... only very slowly and not without some effort.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Durability
Ease of cleaning

Cons: Difficult to type on

Other Thoughts: I have these keyboards installed at one of my restaurants for use with the Point of Sale systems. They are not often used, but occasionally, messages need to be sent via the system. They are somewhat difficult to type on, however, with low traffic, this is overshadowed by their durability and waterproof attributes. In the restaurant environment, they perform well.

3 out of 5 eggsPerfect, if you're into that sorta thing

Pros: Does all the things a keyboard should. It really shines if you need it for a hazardous environment (ex. the kitchen, dirty/dusty work areas, intense snacking @ computer). Of course it is also ultra portable because you can roll it up.

Cons: Not the easiest thing to type on. If you get any dirt on it, it will stick and give the keyboard a nasty feel.

Other Thoughts: When it comes down to it, this keyboard is just a gadget. Sure you'll impress your geek friends when you unroll this thing and start typing away, but I'd rather just get a cheap traditional keyboard if I was worried about ruining it.
