2 out of 5 eggsNot so great

Pros: Nice multimedia keyboard with everything you need to sit on the couch and operate a computer. Installation easy and just works on a windows 7 machine.

Cons: 100 feet in distance is a bit of a stretch. My couch is about 30 feet from my computer and it will not reach even with brand new batteries. Would reach about 20 feet but over the course of a week that reach was limited as the batteries weekend. Keyboard as an on and off switch and if you do not use it, it seems to suck down the batteries

1 out of 5 eggsRun away quickly

Pros: Looks great, feels great, has every button you could wish for.

Cons: 100' range is an absolute joke when it does work. Try 10'. Unit died after an hour of use.

Other Thoughts: Before buying ANYTHING from Adesso, try calling their tech line, you won't get an answer or a return phone call (I'm serious...try it for yourself!). Try their on-line doesn't work! Try requesting an RMA. It has been 2 days and I have only received confirmation that they received my RMA.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: -Nice Design
-Simple to use
-Works as expected
-Slim and lightweight

Cons: -IR device needs to be in front of media pc
-Takes a few seconds for PC to acknowledge after turn on (very minor)
- When turn off it sometimes triggers Vista options

Other Thoughts: Pretty good device. I like the pad opposed to track ball designs. Everything works very well. I turn the power switch on the bottom off when not using. But I have noticed that if I start a movie in Media Center and turn it off, sometimes it triggers options like it would if you do a right click on a mouse. Could just be consistant user error or a small glitch. But if I slide the on/off button slow I seems to work fine. Other than that it takes a few seconds (4-8) for the media PC to recongnize the device which isn't a big deal. All in all I'm pleased. It has hotkeys which are nice. I've been using for about 5 months and no issues. Factory batteries still work. This thing is thin and light.. which I like, so don't expect a heavy weighted board. It's durable enough as the dogs have knocked it off the table many a time and still works. Try one out.. it's a good setup.

4 out of 5 eggsGreatable Keyboard

Pros: Great Keyboard. Very sensitive keyboard. Very delicate.

Cons: Have to be angled at receiver. Antenna in keyboard has to be mounted to bottom of keyboard, because every time you lay it on your lap you do loose signal to receiver. IDK kind of a bad design.

Other Thoughts: Mount the receiver high up, you generally do not have any problems.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage - Stay Away

Pros: Great Range and got it on sale for $85, Kudos newegg.

Cons: Everything else. Touchpad is extremely frustrating. Just moving the mouse around, you run the risk of dragging anything on the screen to any random location the touchpad will take you. Even more annoying since I run dual monitors. Feels very cheap in quality and sometimes certain random keys would not respond at all, no matter how far away you were. I ended up snapping the keyboard in half and throwing it in the garbage, because it was over the 30 day return policy and good luck getting a hold of Adesso for support.

Other Thoughts: Should have spent the extra 50 bucks on the Logitech DiNovo w/bluetooth in the first place. Bought that and have not had any problems at all

1 out of 5 eggsStay away, very far away

Pros: I liked that it was rf instead of ir

Cons: The layout is bad with oddly shaped keys and non-standard spacing. The construction is really poor, USB receiver fell apart and the keyboard doesn't sit flat on the desk. Mouse pointer moves randomly. Mouse buttons are on the opposite side of the keyboard.

Other Thoughts: I missed the 30 day return policy by a couple of days. Drag! This product is not ready for the market place.

3 out of 5 eggsKeyboard could be alot better

Pros: Its got a great range, the media controls are really nice to have, the hot keys are a great feature, the touch pad is nice when it works right, really good battery life, and it has a great range.

Cons: My main complaint about this keyboard is the keys are garbage. Sometimes they won't respond without a very hard firm press and even then they still won't work. Its takes a little getting use to with the layout because of how they angled the keyboard but after a couple days I was able to use it just fine. The touchpad isn't all that great either. Sometimes it will really lag and get really jumpy and it's hard to use. I've accidentally dragged and dropped many files in other folders by accident because of this keyboard.

Other Thoughts: If you really want a good keyboard I would suggest getting a blue tooth dongle and getting the PS3 keyboard since it will work on a PC as well. It's a far superior keyboard to this.

4 out of 5 eggsThe best HTPC Keyboard!

Pros: Lightweight but not really cheap feeling, Great layout with touch pad an mouse click buttons, has hotkeys for internet, email, my computer, calculator, media center, and all media control hotkeys i.e. play, pause, stop, etc...

Cons: The connection seems kinda iffy at times but its not something that bothers me much, A bit pricey

Other Thoughts: This is the best option fot a HTPC. Everyone that has used it has liked it. I've droped it twice on wood floors and it still works perfectly. the only downside is that the connection tends to be easily interupted by big objects. like if someone is standing directly in front of the HTPC it wont work sometimes. for that i took an egg off my review.

1 out of 5 eggsBad Board

Pros: Worked for 3 weeks.

Cons: If you have a wireless keyboard elsewhere in the house, it may interfere with this board. Touch pad is too sensitive. Board feels cheap.

Failed completely at 28 days. Unable to connect to the system.

Other Thoughts: When will someone offer a decent long-range board with a variable channel selection to bypass interference issues??
