3 out of 5 eggsWorks great...when it works.

Pros: - No problem with how it works
- ON/OFF switch on the keyboard

Cons: - Expensive
- Dead zones
- Wireless interference
- Range (stops working around 10 feet)

Other Thoughts: Bought this for my HTPC.

There are a lot of dead zones. When you find a place where it works (for me, this was on my coffee table) it works perfectly. However, simply moving it an INCH from that spot would cause it to drop out completely.

There were some strange dead zones. For example: 3 feet directly in front of the receiver would just not work, however move 6 inches to the side and it's fine.

I was able to slightly improve the performance by using a short USB extension cord and allowing the receiver to flop down in front of my HTPC. However this is fairly unsightly.

Suffered from severe wireless interference when I had a couple of cell phones and laptops nearby. I've tried fiddling with my wireless router settings (forcing specific channels or wireless-g only) but nothing helped.

For me, I can live with these problems, however considering the price, I would have liked to be able to roam around anywhere and not have the signal drop off.

4 out of 5 eggsBest wireless keyboard you can buy!

Pros: Everything about this keyboard is perfect. Was looking for a keyboard that was like a laptop keyboard and this was one of the only ones I was able to find after much searching on the internet. I have plugged this keyboard into many devices and it has been compatablel with every single one so far and works perfectly every time. It is super thin but yet enough room to comfortably fit both hands while typing. The range may not be 30ft but it is pretty far and I have never lost signal and have gone as far as I can in my living area. And the battery life is very surprisingly long lasting, I have owned this keyboard for over 5 years and it has been through allot with my 2 boys who use it to play games on our computer which is connected to our television, it has outlasted many drops and falls.. Basically worth the money %100 stop looking for other keyboards right now, you have found "the one".

Cons: I can honestly say I don't have much to say bad about this keyboard it does everything I need it to and has lasted me many years.

Other Thoughts: You would waist your time if youu looked for otherr keyboards after finding this one.

4 out of 5 eggsNo Range

Pros: I put the included batteries in, and fired it up. The keyboard feel is very good. The keys are easy to push, and yet they click and have a very refined feel to them. This is the best keyboard I've ever typed on.

Cons: The range is about 3 to 4 feet which makes the wireless interface pretty pointless. Beyond that it stops working completely. I was excited to use this for home theater. I thought maybe I could sit at the couch and use my plasma TV as a monitor, but so far, there is no way that would work.

Other Thoughts: I've heard 2 reviews that brag about the long range. One review said he was using this at 10 feet away and the other review said it's good for 30 feet.

It's possible that using low quality batteries affect the range. I am going to try new batteries and see if that helps.

3 out of 5 eggsWireless distance over-rated

Pros: I love the mouse touchpad on the keyboard. This keyboard reminded me of the IBM laptop keyboards.

Cons: I needed for an application that would require communication closer to the 30 foot range that's advertised, but when I recieved the keyboard and set it up, I could only get about 12 feet away before the keyboard started loosing communication. I had the keyboard in direct line of sight to the usb dongle during this test. Had to send mine back as it was just too short range for my needs.

Other Thoughts: Increase the distance for long range users and I'm in!

3 out of 5 eggsWalmart has it Cheaper

Pros: Wireless, good wide touch pad w/ built in scroll wheel functionality, decent battery life. Comfortable to use, fairly quiet, low profile keys.

Got this to replace an old PS2 wireless desktop (kb & mouse) I was using for my living room PC, does the job quite well.

Cons: Lacks multimedia buttons, And the only "Fn" function key is for num lock. No status lights, you have to guess whether Num and Caps are on, or install software to display that info in the system tray. Must also change your BIOS setting for Boot-up Num Lock to off, or it will illicit much cursing. Built in num pad is kind of awkward, especially if you have to switch back and forth between normal typing and using a num pad.

I bought this at my local Walmart for $75 + tax. I thought that price was steep, but $110 plus shipping is worse.

Other Thoughts: To make this better:
- Make a wider version with a proper num pad
- Add more laptop-style "Fn" Function Keys - browser, calculator, email
- Add Multimedia function buttons
- Lights for num and caps lock.
- Better positioning of Home/End/Ins/Del/Pg Up/Pg Dn Keys
- back-lit or illuminated keys

Over all - I prefer this keyboard to a similar Rosewill I own, simply for the scroll wheel built into the pad.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: I wanted a wireless keyboard with the same kind of mousepad as a laptop. This product was exactly what I wanted & is one of the few on the market.

Its range does the job for me, so no problems there. I use it several feet away in conjunction with a projector, as well as an alternative keyboard to my desktop.

I was very impressed that it immediately connects to the computer--no lag time at all. Plug in the usb, turn it on, and it works. No software installation, nothing. It worked right out of the box.

It's very lightweight and I don't find the keyboard too small.

Cons: Occasionally the mouse can be a little squirrely, but it's not a big deal.

4 out of 5 eggsMouse is a little laggy, but overall, not a bad keyboard

Pros: Had no problems connecting to a PC, or to a thin client. Worked on initial bootup and in BIOS. They keyboard is a decent layout, very similar to that of a laptop. It's compact, and feels well built. I haven't had issues with keys popping off, but then I'm careful with my stuff. The feel of the keys isn't the best I've used, but not too bad. The keyboard will go to sleep, but wakes up after a short delay (noticeable, but not bad) Tested it to a range of around 25 feet with no problems. Has an on/off switch to conserve batteries.

Trackpads are way better than trackballs!

Cons: It can be a little laggy. Not as much a problem with typing, as it could keep up with as fast as I can type, but the mouse is a little laggy in it's movement. It's not that good, but workable. Not as noticeable with slower mouse motion. That's the one real negative with this keyboard.

Other Thoughts: Others mentioned a problem with the keyboard starting up with the numlock on. It has never done this on mine.

I also read that people have had problems with interference with their wireless routers. I haven't had any issues with that.

There were also comments about bluetooth issues. This is an RF keyboard and does not use bluetooth.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with it and would recommend it. It's the only RF keyboard with a trackpad out there right now. If someone else comes out with one, I might switch, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

1 out of 5 eggsPure Junk

Pros: Small format, good connectivity, touchpad layout is ideal for lefties.

Cons: Stopped working about less than two hours of use. The F key is locked and nothing will unlock it.

2 out of 5 eggsNot worth the money

Pros: Small
Touchpad is way better than joysticks and trackballs

Cons: Very poor range, usually needs line-of-sight.
I wanted to use this for my HTPC, but propping my feet up on the ottoman was enough to block the wireless signal (from only 7 ft away!)

Other Thoughts: I RMA'd this and opted for a VidaBox instead...the trackball is funky, but it has better range, media control buttons, and costs a little less.

2 out of 5 eggsCheaply built -- unreliable

Pros: Low-profile scissor-key action

Cons: When moving this around, you can feel something jostling inside -- not sure if it is the two triple-A batteries or something else.

When typing fast (faster than just chicken-pecking) the keyboard drops its connection to the USB receiver.

It feels cheap, it keeps dropping its connection and is a total let-down.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace the wireless mouse and wired keyboard I had connected to my HTPC. I am sitting not more than 8 feet away from the computer and constantly experience disconnection issues when typing moderately fast (maybe 15 words per minute).
