I use this with my Media computer so being able to turn it off allows me to store it without worrying about the keys being pressed and draining the battery. Cons: Designed for Macintosh, So media keys do not function with Windows. However the keyboard works fine with Windows. You will need to have a bluetooth receiver as it does not come with one. Other Thoughts: I purchased this from the description, Which doesn't say that this is designed for Macintosh only.
