5 out of 5 eggsUsing with Android

Pros: Works with my Android.
Trackball is the best one I have experience on keyboards with mouse device built in. Laser ball rather than physical rollers.
Comfortable and big enough.
I have tried many devices for my android and this one is by far the best.

Cons: Back space is too small and poorly placed.
Not clear how I will clean the trackball when it gets dirty. Most trackball mice are normally designed to easily remove the ball so you can clean it and the contacts the ball rests on as they will get dirty over time.

Other Thoughts: I have only used this for a few days and will update as appropriate.
Other keyboards I have tried and replaced with this one:
Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard k400
Rii® mini i28

The android I am using this with is a
Minix Neo7

5 out of 5 eggsGood as it gets

Pros: Compact, long battery life, laser track ball.

Cons: Stupid Home key...they removed the trigger buttons from the front of the keyboard

Other Thoughts: Overall you won't find a better HTPC keyboard. Period.

Very reliable unit.

5 out of 5 eggsBest for HTPC

Pros: I have owned two for over a year. I have had no problems with either. Still on original batteries. Both are used on HTPC's.

Cons: Not the best for extended keyboarding.

Other Thoughts: An awesome HTPC solution

3 out of 5 eggsit works

Pros: If you spend a lot of time typing and need an alternate way of working your mouse, this key board is for you... it takes two hands to perform most typical mouse operations. The track ball is accurate I hope cleaning is not an issue.. Range (dist from receiver) is very good.

Cons: No triggers. backspace key small, delete key in non standard location...general layout a bit creative. probably works well once you get accustomed to it..increase volume to the left and decrease to the right.......Humm during this typing the keyboard refused to type for about 20 seconds...then resumed without any special key presses.

Other Thoughts: Price was not reflective of functional value. The size of the keys on the key board is comparable to that of a laptop.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat Design, Trackball Died After 1.5 years

Pros: Honestly, this is by far the best media center keyboard out there. I bought this from a newegg competitor that starts with an "A" back before it was available on newegg.

Cons: The trackball started dieing after 1.5 years. At first we thought it was a battery issue, but after replacing batteries five times over 1 month, the trackball completely stopped working, even though the keyboard still works perfectly. It was very gently used, nothing ever spilled on it, and it still looks flawlessly brand new. I even opened it up expecting dust, but there was none. It simply died. I'm currently looking for alternatives.

Other Thoughts: So few alternatives out there if you want a good mouse+keyboard option.

1 out of 5 eggsNew model is ruined

Pros: Works great. I've owned 4 of the previous version of this keyboard and a few various similar models. This is the best by far for use with a media center pc.

Cons: This new model ruins the keyboard for media center use, there is no longer a mouse button behind the trackball which makes using it one handed impossible.

5 out of 5 eggsBest wireless keyboard

Pros: Range
Trackball accuracy
Scissor keys
Great layout

Cons: Price - if this were $30 cheaper I'd buy a backup just in case
Needs occasional change of channel

Other Thoughts: I've owned about 6 wireless keyboards for my htpc and they have all had some kind of major flaw. Most of them had weak range or bad trackballs. This keyboard has the best range and trackball accuracy. The keys are fantastic to type on. I have had the best typing accuracy on this keyboard.

The previous reviewer who complained of weird keys just needed to hold the resync button on the bottom for 3 seconds and the problem would have been fixed. I need to do this too maybe once every 3-4 weeks.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible Keyboard

Pros: TrackBall and Keys

Cons: Keyboard drops out and wierd symbols start showing up when typing. When using it to play some games, screen freezes and keyboard is none functional...Screen doesn't freeze when using Game Pad.

Other Thoughts: Layout is way different then the previous version (3000UB). If they were to take the Trackball and Keys and put them in the 3000UB versions would be a Great keyboard
