3 out of 5 eggsEclipse

Pros: Backlit. Wireless.

Cons: Unless this thing has full battery, it can be very inconsistent. Sometimes keys don't work and I find myself having to push the button to turn it off and then back on and it works again. Can use plugged in.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to temporarily replace my Sidewinder x4 that I ruined by spilling soda all over it. But I just ordered a new one and this one might just sit in a drawer most of the time.

1 out of 5 eggsStraight Garbage

Pros: Looks cool
Small/Thin
LCD touch screen very innovative with the multiple selections of function pages.

Cons: Connectivity terrible.
Battery Life Short
LCD Keypad doesn't register fast key strokes

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY

After a few days of unresponsive keys and short battery life I smashed the keyboard on my tile floor. Was very satisfying.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy

Pros: It looks nice

Cons: I can confirm other posts, this keyboard does not connect through usb and struggles to work for 5 min at a time.

Other Thoughts: I had the wired version and that sucked too, sent it in for RMA and they sent me the wireless version, bribe?

either way don't buy, both are dumb and worthless

2 out of 5 eggsCheaply Built

Pros: Slim stylish design.
Portable*kinda*
Num pad is easily programmable through software.
Mouse wheel and button under numpad can be useful.

Cons: only connects through wireless and even as the keyboard sits on the same desk as the computer it will lose connection!
*if i had anything to do with making this keyboard I would be embarrassed*
Comes with usb cables but they only charge the device.
Mouse wheel under num pad is not very useful.

Other Thoughts: I had the wired version of this keyboard first which lasted only a few hours before keys stopped functioning properly. If you check the nets many have this issue. I sent in the wired keyboard for RMA and they sent me this one, Thanks for the upgrade but I would rather you just make something that works :)

5 out of 5 eggsworks well once you get to know it

Pros: Its beautiful, it lights up, the touch pad is a nice addition. It's light and it types really well, feels comfy and is wireless.

Cons: takes a lot to get used to, can be fussy on initial set up. I don't believe it supports hot keys for internet explorer 9, (said in compatible browser).

Other Thoughts: if your willing to take the time to sit down with it and really think through it, you'll love this keyboard by the time you get it figured out.

3 out of 5 eggsMine might be defective...

Pros: FIRST... My keyboard might be defective, so take the 'con' of this review with a grain of salt... Now on to the pros:

It's by far the most beautiful keyboard I've seen. Very sleek looking, get compliments all the time on it.

The actual Physical buttons are PERFECT, they feel really good compared to your typical big button keyboard. They light up too which is very nice.

The battery life is pretty good

Love how I can use it as a wired keyboard via USB cable, and when its charged I use it as wireless. I charge it via PC USB cable and my BlackBerry USB cable that goes to the outlet on the wall.

I didn't think I would ever use that little mouse trackball thats on the keyboard, but I use it a LOT more then I thought.

Weight-wise its very light.

When the battery is low, the keyboard very lightly starts to fade in and out letting you know the battery is low, a really cool feature

You can customize a lot of the keys on the numpad, awesome idea! I absolutley love it

Cons: My keyboard MIGHT be defective, so these cons might not apply to a working keyboard...

The Touch keys are horrid. I don't even know where to began...

First it doesn't register right when you click a touch button

Second, I have to switch between NUMpad to ECLIPSE mode, then back to NUMpad just so it registers the touch

Third, Volume bar works 80% of the time, but 100% of the time the actual BAR doesn't always show how high/low the volume is (but it does change the volume on the PC even though it doesn't show it)

Fourth, Sometimes the touch buttons dont work at all whatsoever. I have to turn off the keyboard in the back, then on again

Fifth. If your trying to type really fast on the numpad, it won't register a bunch of touches at once, you have to wait 1-2 seconds inbetween each touch... doesn't sound like a lot, but when it comes to typing on a keyboard, 1 second between keys matters!

Other Thoughts: I would say 60% of the reason I bought this keyboard was for the looks. It's sad no company out there makes fancy looking keyboards, they are all so ugly :( Like a lot of PC cases

The other 40% of the reason I bought it was because of the Touch feature on the numpad. Sounded really cool, and IF IT WORKED this review would be 5 eggs, and it'd be a perfect keyboard.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure if this keyboard is defective, or if all the Eclipse keyboards are broke. I bought this a few months back (straight from manufactures website, the day it was released), so I'm not sure if I'm still in warranty. I'm too lazy to find out... hence wanting a wireless version I guess lol
