Pros: Really excellent keying action, neither too soft nor too hard. Sturdy but lightweight. Not overly encumbered with nifty looking but useless keys. Excellent keyboard for a touch typist.
Cons: None relevent to my usage. I don't find the backlit keys to be of much use to me, but since I didn't buy the keyboard for that, and I'm a touch typist, it's no great concern.
Other Thoughts: This keyboard, the BLUE backlit version, does NOT have the problem of the gray paint wearing off the keys as does the red lit version. I have owned both. Unlike the red version, which was an illegible mess after 3 weeks, I've used this one for hours daily over 8 months with sweating fingers with no ill effect. Saitek got it right on this one. It's among the best keyboards I've ever worked with in an under $100 price range.

Great Keyboard

Pros: I used to have ot leave a lamp on to use my keyboard during gaming sessions. Now I can black out and I can see every key. Much better gaming experience! It has different light settings too. In the light it is just as visible. I also love the angle of the board and wrist rest without the props. It puts less stress on my wrists during long sessions.
Cons: Some people say the light is evenly distributed. There is a little less light on seldom used keys like the F1-12. It isn't so low you can't see them though. I see them fine.
Other Thoughts: I have seen this board modded with red led lights and it looked even better than the blue. I may just change them, but I like the blue as well. Also, my wife doesn't care at all about my "stupid" computer and customizing but she used it and said "that's really cool!"

Pros: This keyboard is Quiet typing looks very nice, 3 light dimer settings. Overall a great keyboard for a great price, Seriously buy it. its great, maybe check out the Red backlit one also =)

Pros: Beautiful blue backlighting that has a full, dim, and off setting, smooth keystrokes, great for playing in lower light conditions where you still need to see the keys.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Newegg continues to be the best place for everything computer related. I don't even know why I bother with retail shops anymore. Price on this was unbeatable, and wanted to grab it with the sale discount. 2 days after ordering it, it went to free shipping. Contacted a Newegg live chat rep and they cheerfully reimbursed me for the shipping as a courtesy. Looking at rebuilding my PC in the coming months and every piece will be bought from Newegg.

great idea, poor implementation

Pros: It lights up...
Cons: Either the choice of back light - BLUE - or the way the keys were designed to be translucent makes it hard to read the keys from the typical viewing angle, even when the room is lit! As a keyboard, it's fine but as an illuminated keyboard, it falls short. While I'm a die-hard PC user, the illuminated Apple laptop keyboard should be the benchmark.
