Pros: I really like the feel of the keyboard, the scroll wheel and trackball is great and the battery indicator is useful.

Cons: The trackball requires cleaning every once in while if too much oil builds up and the keyboard stops recognizing it. Sometimes the keyboard will be unresponsive and the only way to fix it is to take the batteries for 5 minutes or so.

My scroll wheel broke after 6 months of light use.

My last wireless keyboard lasted me 3 years, I expect the same for this one but no.

Pros: Great idea, especially for people wanting to "cut the cord" and go all online for television viewing. When it works, it is fantastic and I love it! Keyboard, mouse, scroll wheel, all are great for surfing Hulu and Netflix. Installs easily, very responsive.

Cons: The first keyboard we got had no battery terminals. We returned it immediately, got a new one and were happy for 7 months. Then things started going down hill. A key fell off. No biggie, but the mount was broken. Okay, Iogear was going to replace it. Then, the scroll wheel stopped working and the trackball stopped responding well. We are sending it in for RMA again. So, with all the shipping, we have paid almost double the original price. If I have trouble again, I'll not bother with an RMA and will just buy another brand.

Other Thoughts: Love using the keyboard to watch TV, but it really disappointed me with the durability.

Pros: Easy Set-up, great idea

Cons: Stopped working within a few weeks, just refused to connect to the computer for no reason at all.

Won't be buying an iogear keyboard ever again, neither will my company, as I'm responsible for all IT purchases.

Pros: it looks cool.

Cons: Blu-tooth intermittent signal after only 5 feet distance from receiver. acts like inferred not blu-tooth anything gets in the way, no signal.

Other Thoughts: I investigated the possibility of packet collisions by eliminating any sources in 2.4 GHz, the signal remained intermittent.

Pros: Great control of HTPC. Range seems good for typical living room. Have not had any issues with mine... yet. We recharge every weekend - no power issues. It's been dropped a few times and sat on - still seems to work just fine.

Cons: It does time out (goes to sleep) a little sooner that I would like.

Pros: Great product! I'm using this with my laptop so I can stream instead of having cable. It's very easy to use, charge, install, and fits great on your lap. Searching Hulu and Netflix is easy with the full keyboard, which was what I wanted.

Cons: The first keyboard we received was missing a metal plate in the battery compartment, which meant that it could not be used unless plugged in! RMA process was easy, but meant we spent another $13 in shipping before getting our keyboard.

Pros: Cheap price.

Cons: Trackball skips, range is horrible, of the keys that work...if you type fast the keyboard won't register all the key strokes.

Pros: Works Perfectly!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I have my VC connected to my TV with an IOGEAR USB 3x HDMI Hub. I can now stream Nexflix from my PC as well as surf the Internet. This keyboard/Trackball is awesome!!!

An ON/OFF switch in place of the Sleep option would have been nicer, but then it comes with a battery charger, so this point is moot.

Pros: looks good, feels pretty good in hands.

Cons: Key was off when I opened it. They aren't the most durable looking keys I have seen... getting a replacement (process to take 2-3 weeks) and I hope it is better. I guess I should have listened to the other reviews about the keys :-(

For the key to fall off the white support under the key cap most likely is broken. You have the option of getting a replacement keyboard from the place of purchase or having a replacement key shipped with the white support to you by customer support. You need to allow 5-10 for shipping however this wait time is usually shorter. Once again, thank you for choosing IOGEAR.

Pros: Design, feel, wow so nice.

Cons: Piece of junk, will fall apart within 3 hours of owning it. Adult owned and not abused, keys will fall off. Total loss for IOGear. My wife called IOGear, they said we can pay to ship it to them to replace it or return it to the store. I already paid too much for trash, not paying to ship it to them. Returned to store for full refund. Bought another keyboard from that popular company that makes keyboards and mice and know what they are doing. The keyboard is called a K400 and has real good ratings and it made better.

Other Thoughts: Wow what a piece of junk! I did not buy it from NE I got it from a store instead. I did pay double what NE is asking too, still not worth it at half the price. If they gave this keyboard away for free just keep walking.

In the store my wife and I looked for a nice keyboard mouse all in one for our entertainment center. I saw this one and fell in love with it. The layout, the size , the features all A+. Wow just look at this thing , the roller ball and trigger in the corner and the scroll wheel in the other. What is this thing I thought, it's like a giant game pad that was made for me. The feel of it just felt good too. This keyboard is VERY deceiving.

We decided to take a walk to where they sell computers. We did a search, saw reviews on NE. No I said , can't be, this keyboard rocks. NE had ALL BAD REVIEWS! I still did not listen and bought it anyway.

Got home, typed with it a bit and the Back-Space key fell off. Returned to store next day. GKM581R = junk
