5 out of 5 eggsGreat Slim keyboard

Pros: Streamlined

Cons: None for the price

Other Thoughts: I bought this for $5.00 less than here @ a B&M. Very quiet keys - super quiet -- perfect response. The lighted indicators are not yellow they are all green. And, if you happen to have less desk space this will fit perfectly. I game on D&D online as well as WoW, and this might be the best value keyboard I have ever bought. Volume buttons work great , home button works, SLEEP WORKS!. It's a real pleasure to type up some work reports on this keyboard too. gaming is perfect. It's just a simple well built quiet un-obtrusive keyboard.

Try it you won't be sorry.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap but works

Pros: Cheap, does break easily.

Cons: No back-lit keys but what do you expect for 10$

Other Thoughts: I use a lot of computers with low-profile keys, so I make more mistakes on the standard pitch keys. I have no complaints about these as it is my second one in 3 years.

2 out of 5 eggsOK, I guess.

Pros: It was inexpensive.

Cons: In comparison to the other keyboards that I have had over the years, I am unimpressed with this product. I find it to be just as loud as the previous keyboard that came with my PC. Also, some of the keys tend to stick in the up position, making them difficult to push (which struck me as odd). Also, I have owned this keyboard for approximately seven months, and several of the letters have worn off the keys. It is a good thing I don't need to see them to type. LOL

Other Thoughts: I wish I had spent more money and purchased a keyboard that satisfied my requirements.

5 out of 5 eggsAlmost Exactly What I Wanted

Pros: Low profile, not too noisy, perfect key stroke response, multimedia keys (never used these until I got this keyboard), layout, ten key, no dead keys, the rubber feet on the front are very effective.... Love this thing!

When building my PC, I spent more time shopping/researching for a keyboard than for all other component combined. The perfect one for me didn't exist on Newegg, but this one's only got two things (see cons) that keep it from being the one and one of those things doesn't really count.

Cons: ....well,... I wish I could've found this keyboard with PS/2 connector instead of having to use one of my USB ports....

I wish the LEDs for CAPS lock 'n the others were blue instead of this ugly yellow....That's all I can really think of after having it for 4.5 months

Other Thoughts: It is kinda silly to me that when one of the LEDs (CAPS 'n such) is on, light from that LED shines through the other LED spots. You can tell which ones are on because of the difference in brightness but, seriously, two internal plastic walls between the covers would've easily fixed this.

I paid just over thirty dollars(including shipping) for this. As it's even cheaper now, I'd say it's now the best value for a basic keyboard that you can get

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard

Pros: soft-touch, low travel on the keys, happens to be the same height as the void left by missing tiles in the table I use as a desk

Cons: it's a little louder than you might expect from a soft-touch keyboard, not loud by any means but also not really a quiet keyboard either, had to take an egg for it

Other Thoughts: If they ever make this same keyboard quieter I would probably pay a little more for it.

5 out of 5 eggsgood enough

Pros: Cheap. Works. I picked mine up at a local store for $19.99, which is even less than it is here on Newegg. Low-travel keys, which is nice if you work with a lot of laptop as well and hate the weird keyboard-vertigo that comes along with switching back and forth all the time.

Cons: Keys feel a little stiff. Hopefully they will break in and loosen up a little bit as time goes on. I'm assuming the multimedia keys and such work fine in Windows. They will require some remapping under Linux, but that's to be expected. Nobody supports Linux too well. Can't complain about it too much for $20. Mine had some weird gray/silver gunk smeared all over the cable. Idk if that's some sort of compound to keep the cord supple or what. It tastes funny. Cleans right off with a slightly damp rag, but will make a mess of things if you don't realize that its all over your fingers.

Other Thoughts: Logitech makes a keyboard very similar to this, only better in every single respect. Not available on Newegg for some reason though, and it will run you around 3-4 times as much money. This SIIG JK-US0212-SI is a reasonable alternative for those on a budget.

Newegg won't let me link to a|m|a|z|o|n where they do carry the logitech one, but you can find if you search.

5 out of 5 eggsnice touch on the figers.

Pros: Very light on the fingers. Much better than the old Microsoft multimedia keyboard I had. The "stoke depth" is shallow (u don't have to press a long way for the key to be detected). I love it. My typing speed just improved ... 50%? doubled?

Cons: the multimedia keys actually don't feel as well. The num/cap lock lights are cheap - when num lock is on, it's so bright that the other two lights seem to be on too.

Other Thoughts: I have owned two microsoft keyboard before, they all suck. It's sad how mainstream stuff sucks compared to other products at the same price.
