Only slightly dissapointed
Pros: Well the keyboard itself doesn't feel overly flimsy. The soft touch material on the top is of decent quality and overall fit and finish are good. Keys feel very much like my Alienware M11X, so that's always a plus. Reasonably short stroke distance, low striking effort required, and surprisingly comfortable hand positioning despite it's low profile. NOT FOR PEOPLE WITH LARGE HANDS! Low battery LED present so you're never left guessing when the battery will run out. EXCEPTIONALLY light, though I would have preferred this with an aluminum body.
Cons: The Esc., F1, F2, and right arrow keys are not sitting correctly. They are the blemish that took an egg off of the product, as it is very difficult to use these keys. The actual key face itself for the first three actually appears to be off-center, although any keys surrounding them function just fine. The arrow key started working properly after a little bit of extra pressure was added. It felt like something wasn't quite in place correctly, and the other keys feel like they aren't returning to their proper resting position when I depress them, so I am worried that they will stick at an inopportune time.
Other Thoughts: In general I am pleased with this purchase. For the price I wasn't going to do any better. I walked into this expecting there to be something not quite right, as this is a brand that I am not familiar with and no reviews were left prior to my purchase. I suspect that there is a possibility that these defects may have been caused by shipping, as the packaging that the keyboard itself comes in doesn't have much padding to protect the device during transit. The only other suggestion I would make to this company is to keep a closer eye on the build quality of your keyboards. Were they more important keys that were defective this review would have been much worse but since I rarely use these keys at all and everything else appears to be working properly, only one egg off.
