5 out of 5 eggsGood for long time

Pros: Been using this keyboard for typing and gaming and it works well in Win 7 64-bit and XP. I really like small keyboards, I use a coupla puters here on my bedroom/workroom and changing keyboards is easy with the semisame arrangment of the keys on the small ones.

Anyway, the black got shiny, but the white letters haven't faded one bit. They stand out pretty good in the dark, better than most nonlit ones do.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to a friend. Given he knows it is scizzor switch keys, not Cherry of course for this price but still types well.

Cons: I did have one instance of non working when I first put it on a 64 bit but something else was the prob cause it worked well after some adjustments were done to other devices.

Other Thoughts: Not bad at all for the money, in fact a deal. Wouldn't worry SIIG does good stuff.

1 out of 5 eggsDefective out of the Box

Pros: No idea. It didn't work out of the box.

Cons: Defective out of the box. Tried it on multiple machines. Checked web page for possible drivers, but they had none claiming it uses default Windows drivers.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Hasn't totally failed yet.

Cons: Flimsy construction. After a few months of use, the strain relief attaching the wire to the keyboard degraded so much that the wire is now exposed. Also, the keys tend to fall off if the keyboard is in any position except flat on the desk.

5 out of 5 eggsNice, small, sleek

Pros: This keyboard is very slim, and very thin. The keys press well, and it's a nice keyboard for the price.

Cons: The only complaint I have is that the backspace is wee bit too small. Oh well the + =/ home keys will get a bit of living for the time being.

Other Thoughts: I bought this so I could have more room on my desk for class work. It kinda makes it look awkward, I mean my mouse pad is larger than this. But practicality over aesthetics right?

ps. If you have a use pw for windows or the like, remember to turn off numb lock.

5 out of 5 eggsSuper Slim Keyboard

Pros: - Super easy to push buttons
- Very slim
- Rubber fit

Cons: - Fn button will require some getting used to
- No tilt legs

Other Thoughts: 5 eggs because I don't need tilt legs.

My experience:

On the second day of using this SIIG keyboard my yorkie incidentally spilled coffee all over left part of the keyboard. Keys didn't work until keyboard dried out. Next day it worked just like new. One month of using and no complains so far.

5 out of 5 eggsSmall Footprint, Good Key Feel

Pros: Got exactly what I wanted. I type pages, not books. This is a small footprint keyboard, solid key feel, good weight, heavy for it's size, not a cheap feel. If you want your desk space for your mouse and other things, this is perfect.

Cons: If all you do is type, a larger keyboard may suite you better. No tilt legs.

Other Thoughts: It does have 10 key number pad, zoom the picture, 0 - 9 are in blue with Num-Lock key just above.

4 out of 5 eggsThiiiiiiis close. . .

Pros: Scissor keys, small profile, aesthetically pleasing, very well manufactured.

Cons: Some buttons are just too small i.e. backspace, right shift, Tab.

But what really kills me is the Fn and Ctrl key location on the left. I use the Ctrl key a thousand hundred million more often than I ever use the Fn key. On just about every other laptop keyboard (outside of my t410) the Ctrl key is in the outside and the Fn key is on the inside (as it should be).

Other Thoughts: All in all it's a great little keyboard. All the other keys beyond the few I've mentioned above are full size and excellent. I really hope they take this back to the drawing board and make it a full size laptop style keyboard (which would only be about an inch longer to be honest, but would make a huge difference). Also, please please please swap the Ctrl and Fn keys on the left.
