4 out of 5 eggsIt's alright

Pros: The keys are easy to type, and the shortcut keys at the top right are convenient. Pretty good quality keys, too.

Cons: I don't see why the Enter key has to take up a whole lot of room, it makes it complicated to use the Backspace key.

Other Thoughts: Other than that it's pretty good for the price. I say check it out.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty darn good for the price.

Pros: Decent quality for the price. Relatively comfortable feel. Of the four I've ordered, all of them have performed great.

Cons: I've had a few of the keys pop off but they pop right back in :)

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for and more - but not much more :) While it's a good cheap keyboard, it wouldn't necessarily be my first choice for a high-usage application. I've used them for various setups like HTPC's, PC test workstations and kids computers. I use a higher end Microsoft keyboard for my gaming PC.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Keyboard

Pros: Very nice overall keyboard and the keys felt really nice if you are a person that press on the directional keys all day long.

Cons: i did not see that it was PS/2 and my new setup had only USB ports... So i had to order a new one with USB wire and wait another 3 days...

Other Thoughts: Fml

1 out of 5 eggsSo uncomfortable & brought wrist pain back

Pros: Cheap
Cute
Small Frame

Cons: Uncomfortable
Low Tactile Feedback

Other Thoughts: The keys aren't concave enough to give good tactile feedback.

The keys and rows are all pretty level instead of angled toward your fingers on home row. Level rows & keys is very bad for comfort & tactile feedback for me.

I can type all I want on my older keyboard, but this Rosewill brought my carpel tunnel wrist pain back after very little recurrences in the past decade. Certain uncomfortable repetitive tasks have brought very mild pain back a few times but only lasted a day. But I've still been recovering for over 2 weeks from the Rosewill.

I type on home row, but if you're the hunt & peck type then this keyboard may be ok for you.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Love the small size. The keys are very smooth and the action is crisp. I have 3 machines and I like this the feel of this keyboard so much I am going to use it on my main desktop. Great bargain at this price.

Cons: The connecting cord is way too short for my setup. Fortunately I already had a PS2 extension cord. This does have one advantage when you are running an application that you don't want to accidentally hit a key it is easy to disconnect it. (My cat seems to love to jump up on my keyboard!)

Other Thoughts: Would have given it 5 eggs if it wasn't for the short cord. It does seem odd though that the shipping for this item was more than the price of the keyboard. Still a bargain.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price

Pros: Great gift for my 2 year old who loves to spell her name on the keyboard. Board is decent quality and should take a beating.

Cons: None.

3 out of 5 eggsShift + cursor does NOT work

Pros: Inexpensive.

Cons: Using Shift + any of the four cursor keys does NOT let cursor select multiple characters or lines in text. I had to press left or right cursor key once for each character. I had to press up or down cursor key once for each line. This makes selecting text a real pain.

Same symptoms in OpenOffice Writer and in WordPad so it's not the program.

I bought an inexpensive Lite-On SK-1788 from New Egg and it works fine. I then trashed this Rosewill KB.
