1 out of 5 eggsNo.

Pros: ...

Cons: Short wireless range.
If you tilt the keyboard at all, then the sensor can't read it.
Have to press the num lock key every time you start it up, otherwise you get jumbled mess of letters and numbers.
The touchpad is erratic, horrible, glitchy, super sensitive (tiny dust particles make it freak out).

Other Thoughts: I've owned this product for about 9 months, and I just can't deal with it anymore. I'm putting in the towel and getting a cheap wireless keyboard with a seperate cheap wireless mouse.

Save your sanity. If you see this, don't get it. It won't work like it should. It's the most sensitive touchpad I have EVER experienced, and I've been using touchpads since 1996.

1 out of 5 eggsDefinitely a Rosewill proverbial miss...

Pros: It works sometimes properly...

Cons: ...and most times it's one of the glitchiest wireless keyboards I've ever experienced.

Other Thoughts: I tend to enjoy Rosewill products cause under most circumstances, their products are both inexpensive and of good quality. However, this guy sucks on many levels. Touchpad will run across the screen on it's own, keyboard will go on sleep mode in less than 90 seconds on non usage and a few times I had to remove the batteries completely in order for the keyboard to respond once more.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,
Try the receiver in another USB port to see if it does the same thing. Also, are you able to try the unit with another system to see if it follows it? If you are still having issues after that, please contact the Rosewill support team either via phone at 800-575-9885 or via email at techsupport@rosewill.com.
Thanks,
Rosewill Customer Care

4 out of 5 eggsOK, so far.

Pros: Lightweight, small.
KB and trackball in one compact package.
Some nice features for touchpad and function key usage.
Wireless range is sufficient for my use (I have tried it from the bathroom 20' away, through the walls, and it seemed to receive OK.

Cons: Not only is the build light, it has a "cheap" feel to it. Could have been even a little less expensive, considering.
The touchpad buttons are awkward, touchy and leave me leery. I'm not sure how long they will last.
Could have had a numeric keypad

Other Thoughts: I see a lot of bad reviews about this, but since I got it at a good price and most other wireless KBs either have a detached mouse (thus requiring a surface and keeping track of it) or are VERY expensive. This is small, lightweight and handy. So I gave it a shot and took a chance.

Despite the bad reviews, things are working OK for now. But it's new, so I'll post an update if things go wrong.

I give it 4 eggs because of value and based on my 2-week experience with it (not broken yet). It's not fancy, but it was worth the money if it lasts a while.

2 out of 5 eggsNice until it fails

Pros: Small, good range. Inexpensive when on sale. Ideal for HTPC.

Cons: No drivers other than Windows defaults. First one failed after a few weeks. Completely stopped responding, even with known fresh batteries.

Other Thoughts: Infant mortality must mean poor design or quality control. Probably not worth even the sale price. I see that it is now listed as "DEACTIVATED". How long will the second one last?

4 out of 5 eggsPretty much what I expected...

Pros: It was way thinner than I thought it was going to be. Connected to PC with no problem.

Cons: Surprised to find no power button at all...just have to hope that it actually turned off. No instruction telling you how to actually turn it back on (I hit a few buttons before realizing space bar turned it back....). Actually typing with it for the first time everything seems to work great except the "H" key which does click in like all the other buttons and is causing me to freak out when I type making sure I actually hit "H". Other than that no other keys seem to have this problem. (Maybe since it is so thin some components are causing it to not go down all the way?). Also noticing some frequency block. Laying in my recliner right now my foot being slightly inclined blocked the signal for a few seconds.

Other Thoughts: Regardless it's pretty much what I expected....anyone else have a tight "H" key? I'm really curious now...Other than that totally worth the cost if you want something simple for your home theater pc....hahah I keep spamming the "H" key to see if it's going to get looser. Not like it doesn't work, just doesn't go down all the way like every other key.

4 out of 5 eggsOk keyboard, but not the best

Pros: Pretty slim, good keys, touchpad is good, automatic turn off

Cons: No indicators of any kind (NumLock, CapsLock, Scroll), batteries compartment is bad design, springs are oversize and not placed in center, transmitter located on the bottom of keyboard (really bad) easily blocking signal, signal can’t penetrate anything(weak), but in direct view rage is good, going to sleep mode very fast, no drivers or any software to adjust anything, touchpad setting(touchpad recognized as mouse actually) specially.

Other Thoughts: Overall keyboard is acceptable, but not the best for sure.
I'm going to keep it, but...

5 out of 5 eggsgreat keyboard

Pros: This keyboard is a great little keyboard. I have been using it with my HTPC and projector. It does everything I want it to do and more. I had 2 Addesso wireless keyboards -the 1st lasted 3 years and the 2nd lasted 1 year. This one works better, so far than either of those. I like all the extra fn keys, for my computer, email, even a calculator. The power saving features seem to be very good, the touch pad with its different functions seems to be great. The Addesso 's that I had; had none of these functions or fn functions. I did change my bios so that the number lock is not automatically turned on. Great keyboard for less than half the price of the Addesso

Cons: would be nice to be able to program the multi media keys. but that's not a real big deal. They mostly work with windows media center which I do not like using.

2 out of 5 eggsNot Great

Pros: Very slim and compact. A good option for what I am using it for: a media center PC in the family room. Works.

Cons: The mouse pad is just barely servicable. The entire keyboard feels cheap. Can hear tiny pieces rattling around inside.

Other Thoughts: I thoght that this was a great bargin for the price when I first saw it advertised on sale at Newegg for $39.00. Once I got it, I wouldn't pay more than $20.00 for this thing if I had to do it again.
