4 out of 5 eggsThis keyboard turned me into a wizard

Pros: This keyboard is amazing for typing- I can even type without looking at the keys now which I couldn't do with my old Logitech G15, so I figure it must be magical. But seriously, typing is a pleasure on this thing, what more can I say?

Cons: Very bare-bones. To be fair, the description didn't mention any extra features, but even the key-removal tool is sold separately. I feel it's a bit lacking on that end for the price.

Other Thoughts: I say it's worth it since I went from making a typo every three words to a typing wizard since I bought this keyboard. Still, for $100 I think they could at least include the key remover and a couple of USB ports. C'mon guys.

5 out of 5 eggsComfortable Keyboard, Having no problem with Mini USB port

Pros: Cherry Brown keys are amazing. This is my first mechanical keyboard and I love it. Heavy, durable, and inexpensive!

Cons: Bright number lock light. Pretty much the only thing wrong with it.

Some people may complain about the mini USB port but I have had no issues with it.

Other Thoughts: Don't worry about the reviews complaining about the mini USB port. I have had no trouble with mine and I am sure if you are careful, you will be okay.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice keyboard

Pros: Small form-factor but full-sized keys. The Cherry MX brown switches are quite nice, you get a reasonably full travel stroke that makes about halfway down. They are not a super-stiff switch and are noticeably lighter to type on than my old model m. They have a subtle tactile feedback at the make point, with a very subdued audible click. This is not a keyboard to disturb others. The keyboard's weight is good and it stays where you put it.

Cons: For me, the only real con is I wish that the function keys sat a bit higher, closer to their position on the model m layout.

Other reviewers have found the mini-USB plug a bit flimsy; I don't. It's a small connector but fits snugly and well.

Other Thoughts: Mechanical keyboards are wonderful. I have used the IBM model m buckling-spring keyboards for years--they are the gold standard, but I find that they tire me out a bit more now than they used to, so switches with a lighter actuation force are very welcome to me. I have another mechanical keyboard that uses Cherry "MY" switches--the Cherry "MX" switches on this keyboard take noticeably less force but also have a bit shorter throw.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat typing feel, clean layout

Pros: Looks great
Compact size with a numpad
Quiet, even when bottoming a key
3-year warranty on parts

Cons: Loose-feeling mini-USB port

Other Thoughts: I've been wanting a new keyboard with Cherry Brown switches for a while. I have an older Compaq keyboard with them, but it's also got an integrated trackball, and the layout's a little funny.
I've just received the Rosewill, and typed a few pages with it. Very nice action, excellent feel under the fingertips, and fairly quiet, even when I bottom a key. I was mixed on the white case, but it looks good IRL, especially with the white plate under the keys.
The mini-USB connection does feel a little loose, but I don't plan on moving this very often, and the 3-year warranty should take care of me if the worst happens.
I own another RK-9000 with Cherry Reds, and I think that'll move to gaming duty full-time, while the Browns will stay at the office.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: This is a fantastic keyboard thus far. I love the sturdy feel of the metal casing and the keys arnt to loud for a mechanical keyboard! I would recomend this keyboard to anyone looking for a durable mechanical keyboard.

Cons: The only cons I see in the future are the plastic feet to tilt your keyboard are made out of plastic and could potentially break with rough usage. Taking no eggs for this because I normally have my keyboard in my lap anyways and never use the feet.

Other Thoughts: At a $110 price tag you definitly get your moneys worth, pick it up on sale if you can. I got mine for $69. Only other thing I can think of is that I wish it had a black version, as well as possible lighted keys for night time gaming.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This is a great low cost, sturdy, and great feeling mechanical keyboard. World of difference from the rubber dome membrane variety.

The browns fit my needs perfectly for both typing and gaming.

I enjoy writing a lot more than I used too. Feels faster too.

Cons: The mini usb port gets loose a little too easily for my liking. The month I've had it no issues other than that.

Other Thoughts: No back-lit keys
No fancy designs
No macro buttons or special keyboard specific command keys

Depending on your taste I suppose this is a pro or con. Personally a pro.

Definitely don't want to eat any meals on top of this. White does not look good dirty.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Mechanical, of course. Cherry MX Browns are good switches. The amount of noise it produces is directly proportionate to how heavy handed of a typist you are. You can make the keys actuate silently, and they only really make noise when you bottom out. You can run either PS/2 or USB, PS/2 supports Full n-key rollover.

Cons: Flimsy USB jack, key inscriptions are felt on the keys and will likely wear off with time. I don't care for the texture of the keys.

Other Thoughts: I decided with this board that MX Browns are not for me. I went back to my Buckling Spring board. I may try an MX Blue version sometime.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard

Pros: Very solid keyboard, well made, and great to type on. I bought this after trying out several different mechanical keyboards by other manufacturers and I think this is by far the best value for the money. Nothing fancy, no macro keys, no media keys, no backlighting....just great to type on. I like it so much I just ordered another for home use. For build quality (especially now that the USB connector has been improved), I think this is comparable to a Filco or Ducky for a lot less money.

Cons: I wouldn't have minded a few simple dedicated media keys (volume, mute and play/pause would have been nice) if they were well placed and didn't increase the size too much.

Other Thoughts: I recommend the right-angle (or left angle) mini-USB connector made by StarTech instead of the bundled connector. Item numbers N82E16812200984 and N82E16812200983.

1 out of 5 eggsGARBAGE! but nice browns

Pros: This was my second mechanical keyboard. My first had the cheery red switched, this one the cherry brown. I really like the brown better for gaming. Great feeling keyboard and I could type really fast on it.

Cons: After 2 weeks, the numpad started malfunctioning. Three days later, the keyboard is dead.

Other Thoughts: Got it for $69.99 on sale. I like it, it just broke way too fast for such an expensive product. I wasn't hard on it or anything. I guess I'll try to RMA it.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Keyboard

Pros: The keyboard is sturdy and wont move on my desk. Also the keys feel really nice. The white frame and black keys go well with my white Astro A40's. If you like simple keyboards without any media keys or other non essential stuff, you will like this keyboard.

Cons: The mini usb connector is kind of loose. I don't really move the keyboard so it's not really a big problem. I would have given it five stars, but the wasd keys are already fading away after about two weeks of gaming and regular use.

Other Thoughts: You can feel the letters on the keys. It doesn't really bother me, but for some people it does. If you are using a regular membrane keyboard, once you try a mechanical keyboard, you will never go back. There are probably better options out there for mechanical keyboards, but for the price i got it for($80) it was worth it.
