2 out of 5 eggsWorked well till it.. didn't

Pros: Nice even lighting and has a braided cable

Cons: I had this keyboard for maybe three months till the "A" key stopped working when it wasn't pressed from a very specific angle.. Returned it and bought a different keyboard altogether.

No onboard memory so the lighting scheme reset every time the PC was turned off. The lights were completely turned off.

Other Thoughts: Could have been promising and I got over the lack of onboard memory, but when a key fails in under four months, that's a problem..

4 out of 5 eggsKVM compatible!

Pros: After trying several others, this is the only mechanical red-LED keyboard I've found that works with my IOGear KVM switch (model GCS1104). The Brown switches give solid and comfortable key action and are quiet but not silent. The detachable cable is a nice touch that let me substitute a shorter cable instead of having to bundle up a fixed cable.

Cons: Num- / Caps- / Scroll-lock lights are always blue no matter what colors you make the other keys. It would be nice if they blended in. And as is widely mentioned already, this keyboard has no memory and you have to redo all your color / brightness settings every time it powers on. Since mine is always kept powered on by the KVM switch, regardless of the computers' power state, this doesn't much affect me.

Other Thoughts: The lighting in my Z-row, Alt keys, and spacebar went dim in the past few days. Looks like I may have to make use of the one-year warranty period. Disappointing, but at least there IS a one-year warranty period.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Keyboard

Pros: Sturdy Feel
Good for gaming/typing

Cons: LED settings don't save
Only two choices for LEDS

Other Thoughts: All around a solid keyboard. I'm an avid gamer as well as college student, and the keyboard fits my needs perfectly. Sturdy construction and enjoyable to type on. The keyboard is exactly as advertised, just be aware your LED settings won't save on reboot.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat click, bad lights

Pros: The keyboard click feel and sound is perfect in my view.

Cons: The lights on the keyboard work well, however as others have noted, they turn off when you turn off or reboot the computer. Thus you have to go through the effort of turning them back on to your desired brightness each time.

Other Thoughts: If you don't care about the lights its fine, but otherwise the lights drive me insane as they turn off on each reboot.

4 out of 5 eggsKeyboard state

Pros: Nice response, not too sensitive.

Cons: Does not remember back light state at boot up.

Other Thoughts: Should have included cheap chip to remember keyboard state (back light) at boot up.

4 out of 5 eggsGood keyboard

Pros: Feels good and works good, is definitely a solid mechanical piece and I can't imagine having any troubles with it. No need for special drivers. The cable is thick and well built.

This is the first good mechanical keyboard ive had in years and years and I have to say it is very nice. The brown switches are great and I like the feel.

Cons: Anytime your keyboard loses power, like during a restart, it will reset the lights, although it is a 2 seconds of keyboard keys to readjust using a non-intrusive function key between the windows and ctrl key on the right side and f9-f12.

The caps/num/scr lock key lights are bright blue. I got this because red wouldn't bug me at night but if I forget to turn off numlock it leaves a big bright blue circle on my ceiling.

Other Thoughts: Mechanically it is well built, the lights are probably cheap as all heck though to keep this price point so I don't know how well they will last. I doubt this keyboard will ever seize to funtion as a keyboard though.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard but needs on-board memory

Pros: Very durable keyboard and does what it is supposed to.

Cons: Doesn't save the back light settings so you need to set them every time you turn on your PC. Didn't think this would annoy me (I read it in other reviews prior to purchase) but it does.

Keys are quite a bit louder than I expected. I got the Brown Cherry MX and they are much louder than I thought they would be based on other keyboards I have used. The keys are much lighter touch and give less feedback than normal brown cherry mx switches. I can feel the bump, but it is definitely less than on standard brown cherrys.

Other Thoughts: If I had to do it again I might have just gone with the blue cherry or black cherry. Not enough feedback off these keys to make them much different than the blacks and they are too loud to make it much different than the blues. The black switches would have given more force behind the keys and the blues more feedback. I had a sample set of keys from (another website) and these keys feel nothing like the keys I got in the sample.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard

Pros: Although this is the first mechanical keyboard I have owned, I am very pleased with it. I like the MX Browns, the keyboard is accurate with out being too loud. The keyboard has a very sturdy construction and is comfortable to use.

Cons: There is only one con and that would be that the back lighting settings don't save if you turn off the computer or unplug the computer. Not a huge issue for me as my computer runs most of the time and when I do turn it off and back on its only a few key strokes away from your appropriate settings.

Other Thoughts: I would highly recommend getting this keyboard. Well worth the $79.99 I paid.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard!

Pros: Overall good keyboard. Your standard mechanical keyboard with cool lighting features.
I'm not sure why people are saying that if you sleep your computer the lights on the keyboard arent there when you turn it back on, because my keyboard still has the same lighting before and after i sleep the computer.

Cons: Im not sure why, but the backspace and other larger keys (excluding the spacebar) do not have the same actuation feel as the other keys. I don't know if this is intentional.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard for first-time mech owner

Pros: Great feel, study build, nifty customizable backlighting

Cons: Backlighting is Christmas colors, board doesn't automatically resume your last backlighting option chosen

Other Thoughts: This keyboard is awesome. I wanted a keyboard to bring to work with me to replace the awful HP keyboard I got when I started, and felt I might as well upgrade since I do a lot of typing at my job. This keyboard feels like quality and is not too loud in an office setting (I chose the brown switches for this reason). The backlighting is useful for in the mornings when there isn't a lot of light coming in the windows, and when the lighting is off the board looks very low-key. It's a great board, and I type very quickly on it. I would definitely recommend this board to anyone looking for an affordable mechanical board to either get into mechanical boards, or for something subtle and relatively inexpensive to bring to work while still being a high quality mechanical keyboard.
