1 out of 5 eggsAwful product

Pros: -Amazing as a paperweight

Cons: -All keys do not work. Seems like a major flaw in a KEYBOARD!

Other Thoughts: -just spend the extra $20-30. It is worth it

2 out of 5 eggsNot worth more than its price

Pros: - It's cheap
- It's worth what you'll pay for it

Cons: - The key layout is wonky (the backslash is beside the backspace ? [btw this is a key that I use a lot, french keyboard])
- It's pretty noisy
- The keys fell weird, the actuation point seems to be in a weird spot, it's long, basically I don't like them (of course this is personal)

Other Thoughts: - The left arrow key on mine did not work of the time. (normally I don't think that a manufacturing problem is in its place In a review, but it seems to be a more or less common problem with this keyboard looking at the other reviews)

Honestly, Rosewill did you even test the product? What kind of quality control operation are you running here? I have lost all hope in your company and will likely never buy another one of your products.

Other Thoughts: I received this as a Christmas present. Someone put hard work and effort to make money to buy me this keyboard. Rosewill, on the other hand, did not even attempt to put any effort into this shoddy product, and many of these negative reviews show that this is NOT an isolated incident. This product is faulty. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM.

5 out of 5 eggsHands down the best keyboard for the money..

Pros: It's mechanical! These blue ALPS clone switches feel very close to the Cherry MX blues in the 20+ year old beige AT keyboard I was using with an AT/PS2 adapter. They seem a bit quieter and have a lower pitched "click" noise than my older keyboard had. The one I have works flawlessly, all switches work properly and feel consistent to one another. Compared to some of the earlier reviews, my experience has been flawless thus far.

Cons: My only minor complaint is that the capslock/numlock/scroll lock indicator LED's are quite bright. Piece of gray electrical tape fixed it, I can still easily see them behind the tape and now they don't bathe my entire ceiling in blue in a dark room. Don't read too much into my criticism here, this is more of a quirk of personal preference.

Other Thoughts: Some people complain about the oversized enter key and the smaller backspace key but it does not bother me. If you did any computing at all back in the 80's-90's, the large enter key should feel normal as it was a common feature in the past. Overall, seeing how this piece of hardware is priced at less than half of the next most affordable competitors, I am quite pleased with this purchase. We shall see how this keyboard holds up to the test of time.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Entry-Level Mechanical Keyboard

Pros: This is my second mechanical keyboard, my first one being a Thermaltake Poseidon Z with Blue switches. I purchased this keyboard for my office, and for the week that I've had it I'm quite impressed with it.

The keys respond very well and feel much better than any membrane keyboard I've used. The orange rubberized gaming keys are a nice feature as well. I haven't got a chance to use them for long but I can see why they'd be very useful while playing games, they just feel awkward to keep on if you're going to be doing a lot of typing. Based on the other reviews of this keyboard, I probably got lucky and got a perfectly working one.

Cons: -The plastic key caps and the frame feel like they're a lower quality plastic, but not worth docking an egg over for a $30 keyboard.

-Backspace key is fairly small, but it's easy to get used to.

-The keys are fairly loud, but it's not a concern to me since I work in a somewhat noisy office.

-The F9 key on my keyboard had a "9 (" key cap on it. I emailed Rosewill support and they're sending me a new F9 key cap. I didn't feel like this was worth taking an egg away because the F9 key still works.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a cheap mechanical keyboard, don't even hesitate on any others and just buy this one. The only other budget mechanical keyboard I would get would be the $59.99 one that another certain competitor has, as it feels a bit better quality and has blue switches.

3 out of 5 eggsUsually good

Pros: The mechanical click is incredibly satisfying.
Keys are responsive
Feels like I have sped up my typing.
Very sturdy, I like that it doesn't move around when typing.

Cons: For some reason the N key gets stuck.

Other Thoughts: Pretty great outside of the N key thing.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Sturdy, Heavy. Consistent feel and application through most keys.

Cons: I bought this keyboard to play a certain game. When I play I lose key presses (ghosting)

There is no question, this is keyboard error. I only lose key strike recognition when i press many keys in a quick sequence. It's unfortunate, because it's an otherwise well built keyboard, but it's an error that makes it unusable in my application.

Other Thoughts: Clean build. Nice sound if you like like loud-ish keyboards. Great for typing.

2 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

Pros: Low price for what seems like reasonable quality. Was in the market for an affordable keyboard that would be good for gaming and general purpose alike.

Cons: There are 4 "G"s in the pros section about. I had to type all of them twice, because they only register when I strike the top half of the "g" key. Thought I'd roll the dice on a budget keyboard, and this kind of answers the question after about 10 minutes of use.

Other Thoughts: All the other keys work great, and if you focus on striking the right part of the key it's possible to type fine. Seems to work fine for gaming.

3 out of 5 eggsMixed Bag

Pros: Mechanical switches. Looks nice. Hi-vis keys for arrows and left hand gaming hot keys.

Cons: The switches are loud, and the key action is somewhat loose. Some switches engage at a different height than others, and the switches have a long throw, giving the action a "mushy" feel.

I'm an engineering student, and I have to do a fair bit of coding and report writing on this keyboard. There are plenty of non-mechanicals in this price range with a more precise action. Typing on this thing feels like walking through snowdrifts in slick shoes.

It's also LOUD! Sometimes I'm still up writing code at 2AM, and I'm worried this thing will keep the neighbors awake.
