1 out of 5 eggsBroken keys after 6 mo, would not buy again

This review is from: I-ROCKS KR-6820E-BK Black 104 Key USB Wired illuminated Backlit Gaming Keyboard (Orange LED)

Pros: + 104-key keyboard that is smaller than large keyboards
+ Button in upper-right turns off backlight

Cons: - Did not stand up to regular use. "1" and "Z" keys stopped working about 6 months after purchase.
- Keys were difficult to fully depress, leading to a sub-par typing experience. My 10-dollar Logitech keyboard feels more comfortable to type on.
- Noisier than other membrane keyboards
- Backlighting was inconsistent: bright in some zones, dim in others

Other Thoughts: Insert, Delete, Home, End, Pg Up, and Pg Dwn are located in strange places. I wouldn't recommend this if you use these keys regularly.

5 out of 5 eggsNice little keyboard

This review is from: I-ROCKS KR-6820E-BK Black 104 Key USB Wired illuminated Backlit Gaming Keyboard (Orange LED)

Pros: This is a nice little keyboard and EXACTLY what I wanted. I wanted a keyboard that was not as long as most keyboard but still had a number pad and all 104 keys etc. This thing is just that. It gives me more room for my mouse pad but I still feel like Im using a normal keyboard when gaming. Also the backlight is a nice bonus, the etching on the keys light up, not just the area around the key. So far every key works as far as I know and nothing is broken. For the price I am very satisfied with it. Even if it stops working within a year like some people stated I will still buy another one just because I love the size and it works in my setup.

Cons: None yet! If it stops working or any keys stop functioning I will update this review.

5 out of 5 eggsNice and easy

This review is from: I-ROCKS KR-6820E-BK Black 104 Key USB Wired illuminated Backlit Gaming Keyboard (Orange LED)

Pros: Good value for a decent backlit keyboard. Nothing is broken.

Cons: Backlight essentially invisible in daylight.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a good value backlit keyboard, this is a very good alternative option to the Devastator $30 combo. If you don't need the mouse, you can save a few bucks and still get a decent cheap backlit keyboard. That's what I did.

1 out of 5 eggsOne (IMPORTANT) key doesn't work

This review is from: I-ROCKS KR-6820E-BK Black 104 Key USB Wired illuminated Backlit Gaming Keyboard (Orange LED)

Pros: Keys have a nice/pleasant clicking sound to them that isn't loud or annoying like a lot of mechanical keyboards. This would be pretty good for a tight roommate situation.

Cons: The letter D key stopped working after 2 weeks of use. Talk about it being a gaming keyboard LOL

Other Thoughts: I just put in a lot of money to build a new computer, so I wanted to go cheap for the keyboard. The D key was always a little flimsy (it would work sometimes and other times it wouldn't). After a short while, it just stopped working totally. I was carrying my team in a game of Battlefield 4 too when it stopped working, so we ended up losing the game. It also made me look like a freakin idiot when I was talking to this girl I like over Facebook that same night. I finally got a hold of this extra keyboard my bro had but I had to drive all the way to Virginia to get it. I was already skeptical buying from a brand I've never heard of and now, I don't think I would ever go back to I-Rocks.

2 out of 5 eggsbuy a few, they don't last long

This review is from: I-ROCKS KR-6820E-BK Black 104 Key USB Wired illuminated Backlit Gaming Keyboard (Orange LED)

Pros: work fine when new, nice backlight

Cons: we pay for what we get so, this keyboard will start loosing some keys after 4 to 6 months. Mine has some scotchtape to hold some keys in place, namely the spacebar. This is why I said in the title, buy a few because you will need them all after a rather short while while

Other Thoughts: The keys simply get out of their place and will enter back in but won't stay there anymore. I don't know why because there was no rough handling , just normal usage. It's not expensive but it really doesn't last long. I'm not so sure about buying another one...

2 out of 5 eggsSup par

This review is from: I-ROCKS KR-6820E-BK Black 104 Key USB Wired illuminated Backlit Gaming Keyboard (Orange LED)

Pros: Compact design
Orange Backlight

Cons: Dim Backlighting
Delicate Enter Key (Bad for serious gamers)

Other Thoughts: The keyboard is made fairly cheaply. The enter key only has 1 rubber piece, even though there are 2 holes and 2 spots on the circuit board for them. The only thing holding the enter key to the board physically was a small piece of plastic which broke during normal typing practices.

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

This review is from: I-ROCKS KR-6820E-BK Black 104 Key USB Wired illuminated Backlit Gaming Keyboard (Orange LED)

Pros: The orange color is kind of a nice change. I also like the physical size of this keyboard; a lot of the other backlit keyboards are huge.

Cons: I really have to lean on the ] (closing bracket) key to get it to take. I haven't noticed problems with any other keys but that key gets used quite a bit in software development so it's a pretty big problem for me. The backlighting could be brighter. At arms-length, I have a hard time reading the outer rows and have resorted to adding peel-and-stick markers above the important function keys and the delete key for anchor points; with low lighting, black keys on a black background are invisible.

Other Thoughts: I would return this keyboard but I feel like the lost time is worth more than just getting a replacement. Hopefully i-rocks can get this kind of thing sorted out.

This review is from: I-ROCKS KR-6820E-BK Black 104 Key USB Wired illuminated Backlit Gaming Keyboard (Orange LED)

Pros: It REALLY works!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: So far no complaints on the keyboard, I feel like this was a great deal for the $35 I spent on it
