4 out of 5 eggsnice keyboard/mouse combo

Pros: Comfortable keyboard to use. (I'm typing on it right now). I've had this keyboard and had little to no issues with it. It's very easy to type with since it has laptop-style keys in the form of a desktop keyboard. (soft key presses) Great battery life with both the mouse and keyboard---keyboard has gone 9 months-1year without a battery change; impressive. Mouse is a little less due to the laser, but it still lasts quite a while. Very good range too----I got roughly 30ft before losing signal.

Cons: When the batteries do get low, you will see the LED light up. However, before that, sometimes you'll experience no letter/double-letter presses when you're typing on the keyboard. Rather annoying, but for me it only does it when the batteries are low.

Keep in mind this KB/M combo runs on the 2.4GHz band, which is the same band as your kitchen microwave and if you have one, your wireless router (for most people this applies; very few people have newer 5GHz N routers). If you experience stuttered mouse movement or typographical errors, don't eliminate interference as a possibility. There is so much wireless in the air now that problems with interference are only the beginning.

Other Thoughts: Overall a very decent combo for roughly 40 bucks. From a durability standpoint its very good. I've dropped it several times before and it still works great. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality KB/M combo set.

1 out of 5 eggsMove along

Pros: It’s cheap and has survived multiple moves to and from dorm rooms.
Keys are easy to remove and clean under.
Mouse scroll wheel never bugs out though the side buttons are reversed when it comes to web page browsing (I found it quite fun to rework my brain to register the front button as Page Back and the back button as Page Forward).
Works as well today as it did out of the box (1 year later) despite having been dropped several times.

Cons: It hasn't worked well since I took it out of the box.
The lack of Num/Scroll Lock indicators at first seemed like an inconvenience but has become maddening.
Ghost keys are a frequent and annoying occurrence as well single key strokes being registered as two or more.
The battery life indicator on both the mouse and keyboard have never worked.
Both the mouse and keyboard will occasionally stop responding until moved closer to the receiver.

Other Thoughts: Decent for everyday use though gaming and text writing can become quite frustrating when they start bugging out.
I have tolerated these accessories for a year but cannot stand them any longer.

2 out of 5 eggsI-rocks not so much...

Pros: -cheap
-looks nice
-gets by for internet browsing and very light typing
-RF wireless

Cons: -crappily built
-you gotta tap a little harder on the key if you want it to understand that you really wanna type that letter, it seems to assume otherwise.
-no Caps, Num, scroll lock indicators, really just an inconvience
-the mouse it comes with, I assume is a cruel joke and should not be used by anyone ever.

Other Thoughts: Oh boy do yu get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard combo

Pros: Great range, mouse has nice ergonomic feel and light. RF is so much better than those old clunky usb adapters. No software to install. Works great. Keyboard is fairly light considering its wireless. USB RF adapter is very, very small.

Cons: No major flaws. Craftsmanship is great.

Other Thoughts: Lighter and more compact than Microsoft counterparts. Also much cheaper and has longer range.

5 out of 5 eggsI'm still hopeful

Pros: This keyboard performs adequately. When I push a button, a letter (or number) is produced on the viewing screen. With this capability, I am now able to perform quite an array of functions. I can compose an electronic mail, if I so desire. In fact, I recent did just that. Using this keyboard, I was able to write (electronically) an email expressing my feelings of affection to a rather good looking female and ask her if she would let me treat her to dinner at a restaurant of her choice.

The mouse is also functional. After I was done putting that which was in my heart into words, I used the mouse to click on the "send" button in the electronic-mail interface. I found that the movement of the mouse in my hand corresponded quite accurately to the movement of the white cursor on the viewing screen. Slight pressure from my index finger on the forward-left button of the physical mouse resulted in a "click." I did this while the white cursor was located above the "send" button to send my mai

Cons: It's been some time now since I sent this message and the intended recipient still hasn't replied. When I do see her around, we simply exchange awkward glances at each other.

Other Thoughts: Perhaps it was too bold of me to ask her out. Maybe if I would have simply told her that I want to get to know her better she would have replied to my e-mail.

In any case, this keyboard and mouse served their intended purpose.

2 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: it's wireless, good range from usb receiver

Cons: Died after a few months. pathetic battery life, needs battery charger for mouse and keyboard, maybe a docking station or equiv plug in cable to recharge batteries. Not very durable.

Other Thoughts: since I'm in the market for a new kybd mouse, I'm looking at Logitech

4 out of 5 eggsAttention

Pros: It works

Cons: It was wider than I thought. Wider but thinner than my other keyboard

Other Thoughts: Good news everyone (who has vista or 7): since this keyboard only has a low battery light and noe num lock, scroll lock, or CAPS LOCK light, do this: Logitech has a gadget where it has those lights. download it, install it, if you want to see it all the time just place the gadget beneath the taskbar at the bottom of the page (actually i don't know if it works in vista). since the task bar is transparent you can see if the light is on underneath!

4 out of 5 eggsGood keyboard/Mouse but

Pros: Nice to have just one reciever dongle. Mouse is excellent and fast. Nice on/off switch.

Cons: NO Numlock or Capslock LED!! This sucks since you can't tell if they are on or not (until you type of course) I took an egg off for this and the fact the keyboard is too heavy and long

Other Thoughts: The keyboard is heavy and too big (wish they had paired this mouse with their other better keyboard which is much lighter and smaller). Excellent quality though as both the keyboard and mouse work well under Windows 7 with no drivers.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Wireless Keyboard

Pros: Great feel to the keyboard. Very easy to setup and the wireless adapter is tiny. Very happy with this purchase.

Cons: Have to turn on/off the mouse to save battery and the Backspace key is smaller than most. The mouse has 2 side buttons on the left. I keep hitting them by accident.

Other Thoughts: I'll get used to the mouse's side buttons. They come in handy for going back or forward on internet pages.
