The KR-6820E is very small and compact design. That makes the I-ROCKS KR-6820E more along the lines of a notebook keyboard size wise than a typical desktop keyboard. While the dimensions are small, the KR-6820E still packs in a full number pad. Along the top edge of the keyboard are 3 LED indicators. The backlighting on the keyboard is very bright and uniform over the entire keyboard. All the keys are backlit and you can turn the backlight on or off. Made with anti-ghosting technology for extended gaming sessions, users will have no issues with ghosting while playing games. The keyboard has a pair of stands to angle the rear of the keyboard up to make typing comfortable.

  • newegg Compact Design This keyboard utilizes a compact and space-saving design for an easy transport, convenient placement and less space occupied.
  • newegg LED Back Light The considerate LED back light makes keys easy to read in the night or low light condition, and the LED ON/OFF switch allows you to turn on/off the back light conveniently when necessary.
  • newegg Anti-Ghosting Anti-ghosting capability for up to 11 keys makes this keyboard ideal for even the most demanding game users.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet Keyboard

Pros: This keyboard is freaking cool. It is simple but makes it uber easy to use in low light.

Cons: The backlighting may be TOO bright for no light scenarios drawing attention away from the screen.

5 out of 5 eggsBRIGHT Blue light

Pros: Solid keyboard- Compact design. Wife loves it for gaming. Good looking white color and easy on/off for the backlight LED

Cons: The light is too bright in my opinion - Wife thinks it is fine. I would have liked to have different bright nesses or a way top adjust it, but no big deal.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Easy button presses.
Clean layout.
Bright backlight.

Cons: Received keyboard, unboxed, plugged in. About 5 keys didn't work, including the "E" key, which is arguably one of the most important. The keyboard was unusable.

Other Thoughts: Would be an excellent keyboard if it didn't have broken keys.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Board

Pros: Stable board with classic feel. The backlight is beautiful and full without being glaring anywhere, and incredibly useful in a dark room.

Cons: The clips on the back are a little fragile, but as long as you're careful not push down on the board with any serious weight while they're up, they should be fine. The board is a little small for my taste, but accurately reflects the description of a "small and compact design", so that's hardly a con.

Other Thoughts: Love this board for being one of the very few peripherals on the market that will work with a white and blue-lit scheme. Very happy with it so far, and will definitely consider purchasing a replacement when the time comes around.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very nice soft keys, backlight is very bright and very easy to see at night, on/off button for backlight which is very nice. I like the white it really stands out. Compared to other backlit keyboards this was one of the cheapest ones I found so I went for it. I'm glad I did I love it. highly recommend this if your looking for something cheap and bright backlights.

Cons: I have zero complaints about this keyboard.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Illuminated Keyboard I've found

Pros: This is the first of 4 lighted Keyboards I've tried that are easy to see in the daytime too.

Although, not in the way I expected.

I was looking for one that had brightness levels that would blind you on high at night.

as it turns out, this is easier to see in the day when it's off.

then on at night.

I really like it the best so far. (based on Illumination)

I like it better than the black version which I also own.

Cons: more light comes out around the edges of the keys than usual.

I still like a full size keyboard better

Other Thoughts: This is the 4th Illuminated keyboard I've tried.

I tried the black version of this (KR-6820E-BK)
It's got nice key action, but poor daytime visibility.

I tried an Azio KB505U (nice visibility, but poor key action)

I tried a Microsoft Sidewinder X4 (a fantastic keyboard as long as you don't care about the Illumination which is weak)

5 out of 5 eggsi-Rocks must stand for it Rocks!

Pros: Traditional layout, long length usb 2.0 cable, tilt legs, and of course...the blue back light that glows through the keys themselves for dark environments (which was the purpose of buying this model for me). Has worked like a champ for over a year and a half now and I almost always have the light on. You can turn it off if you so desire, but why?! :D

Cons: It is white so it gets dirty quickly, especially after eating a ton of chocolate and what not ;)

Other Thoughts: I have loved this thing from the get-go and it has stood the test of time. I am typing with as I write this review and have no complaints. I have spilled liquids on it a few times (mostly iced tea) but it hasn't phased it! I love it and hope to have it for many years to come. Buy one and you will be happy you did!

4 out of 5 eggsNice keyboard

Pros: Cheap, useful keyboard. Just your basic keyboard, nothing special, very light. Cool backlighting

Cons: Maybe not the most comfortable keyboard and the plastic supports can be broken easily if stressed much. No programmable keys, Not really many other cons

Other Thoughts: Really good for the money, and the cheapest backlit keyboard for gamers.

4 out of 5 eggsNot a keyboard.

Pros: small footprint, types nice, cloo glow

Cons: no adjustable brightness, a bit dim

Other Thoughts: If it had a little more glow through the key letters it would be great, but it is a bit hard to see in the dark. Overall a good keyboard.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Keyboard

Pros: It types well, feels good under your fingers (in my opinion, mind you I have no experience with "good" gaming keyboards, just cheapos and laptop keyboards), and the illumination/color scheme is a perfect match for my NZXT Phantom 410 in white. Some people say the backlight is too bright; I disagree, but to each their own. It is pretty bright, but not overwhelmingly so.

Cons: The keyboard is very small. Not small to the degree that it inhibits typing, but they squashed the number pad up against the rest of the keys, which crowded the arrow keys. I don't have much room at all for them and it can be frustrating to try and use them. Also I keep hitting the "-->" key when I want the 0 key.

And finally, the boasted 11-key anti-ghosting capability is absent. It only has anti-ghosting up to six keys. That's still enough for me, but if it matters to you, then get another keyboard.

Other Thoughts: Not a bad keyboard, holds up well in gaming, and it looks good.
