4 out of 5 eggspretty decent keyboard.

Pros: Being able to change the turbo mode is amazing. Being able to erase typing errors on turbo mode 3 makes it feel a lot better/easier to type fast.

Cons: You have to change the turbo mode every time you turn on your computer and sometimes its easy to forget to do so.

Other Thoughts: You have to use the PS/2 plug in to go higher than turbo mode 1.
When i first got the keyboard it felt like a normal keyboard until i "broke" it in.

3 out of 5 eggsSome problems

Pros: Good keyboard, fairly comfortable, good for gaming.

Cons: Only 1 turbo mode actually works, when I'm typing the "I" and "space" keys fail to work about 1/10 of the time. Does not feel anything like a mechanical keyboard. Also the text edit key is in the stupidest place, I keep accidentally hitting it when I'm typing and it erases everything.

Other Thoughts: Overall not a bad keyboard, but I preferred my old $10 one.

5 out of 5 eggsVirtually perfect

Pros: Small desk footprint, responsive, excellent feel.

Prior to this, I had never "bought" a keyboard. I just used PC OEM keyboards. After deciding to go for one, I looked for a long time to find one I liked. I concluded early on that I was tired of ordinary membrane keyboards. Additionally, while things like the Logitech G15 were enticing, I eventually decided that the added controls and appearance of such units wasn't worth how large they were. The final push towards buying a keyboard was my becoming fed up with ghosting, losing commands when pressing simultaneous keys.

Eventually I found this, and compared to the aforementioned advanced keyboards (most of which were membrane, anyway), this was exceptionally cheap. The pseudomechanical nature has a great feel, it takes up no extra space at all, it's very responsive, and the anti-ghosting thing works wonders.

Cons: The only cons, which are trivially minor to me, are:

-old-style return/forward-slash/small backspace arrangement, which is... silly, but easy enough to get used to.

-no volume control keys. For a long while, I just made do with my media center remote, but I also arranged an AutoHotKey script for adjusting the system volume.

Other Thoughts: I never use the gaming/turbo mode thing at all, and so I have no opinion.

Also, I'm weirding myself out, but I had thought this *was* a mechanical keyboard until I re-encountered it here and decided to write this up. Still, has a far superior feel to ordinary cheapo membranes.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard, but...

Pros: Smooth, sensitive, reactive, decently weighted, and pretty sleek if I may add.

Cons: Can't change the mode past 13 characters even using PS/2. It's kind of a bummer, but at least the keyboard works great.

3 out of 5 eggsGood board, BUT NOT MECHANICAL

Pros: Fairly heavy, indicating solid construction.
Comes with a USB to PS/2 adapter.
Typing is enjoyable, but see below.

Cons: Like I said, it has a nice feel, BUT is nothing like mechanical.
DOES NOT CLICK, don't be fooled, there is no mechanism to make an audible feedback. The sound this thing makes is comparable to typing on a standard membrane keyboard.
Tactility is also comparable to a standard membrane keyboard, except maybe amplified.

Sorely disappointed as the description makes it sound like it has uses faux cherry blues.

Other Thoughts: The description is deceptive with all the talk of mechanical similarity, I would have given 4-5 stars otherwise.

DONT BUY if you're looking for a mechanical analogue for the cheep.

BUY if you're looking for a decent/sturdy/nice keyboard for the cheep.

5 out of 5 eggsNice keyboard

Pros: Great keyboard, it has a mechanical feel. Love the game mode key that prevents you for quitting your full screen game when you accidentally press the windows key.

Cons: The backspace key is smaller than the regular keyboard, but you get use to it easily, not worth losing an egg over.

1 out of 5 eggsmoney wasted

Pros: Works for a week

Cons: Works for a week. After a week the keyboard started to randomly connect and disconnet itself from my labtop. I tried on other keyboards with usb connection and had no problem as the kr-6260.

What makes me really mad about the product is that not only does it disconnect itself from the labtop, but when it reconnects, it will input random letters and open up random files and also command prompt, searching jkkpj; <- what?

Now, I can't even plug in the keyboard, because it will do it whenever i plug it into the labtop.

MONEY WASTED. Love to hear something from the seller.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty Awesome Keyboard

Pros: great feel, like the all black color with white text, great size, not too big, anti-ghost feature, disable windows key

Cons: none for me

Other Thoughts: although I've never had a mechanical keyboard, this is keyboard is pretty awesome for the price i got it for. don't have to press hard on keys like I do with my older logitech keyboard that i've had for 7 years. and this one is wired so it goes great with the gaming experience that i wanted. anti-ghost feature is great and the ability to turn off the windows key when you are playing a game pretty cool. very satisfied with this keyboard and plan on having this for a long time. highly recommend this thing if you are looking for a keyboard on budget and you want something simple. again great for gaming.

3 out of 5 eggsConstantly drops letters

Pros: Cheap
Decent feel when typing, but a little soft
Simple, standard design (besides backspace)

Cons: Odd rearrangement of backspace and |\ keys

Very, very frequently leaves out letters that you've typed for no discernible reason. I have never had this problem on another keyboard and you can feel yourself hitting the keys, the letters just never show up. I find myself having to correct nearly every sentence because I've typed "jus" instead of "just" etc.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't recommend this keyboard. I'm going to have to buy a new, nicer one soon because I just can't deal with the inaccuracy of this one.

5 out of 5 eggsConsidering.....

Pros: Should be after "cons" but
(a) - $24
(b) - RESEMBLES "tactile and clicky"
(c) - good response and release for plunger
(d) - anti-ghosting and signal speed work when connected per instructions. (modes 3 & 4 do not work via USB, only PS/2)

Cons: 1 - Not mechanical feel but see "a" and "b" above.
2 - Non standard keys but what flipping gaming keyboard has a standard layout? Especially after item "a."
3 - not the fastest or most responsive but way faster than it deserves to be given price and what it is.
4 - to label it "gaming" without some macro support (button or software) is misleading but I do not like them so this was actually a plus.

Other Thoughts: NEWEGG REALLY NEEDS TO PUT CONS BEFORE PROS!

This is seriously the best low cost performing keyboard available. No features outside of what all typers and also gamers can use. Combined in the combo deal with the laser mouse this is the most inexpensive way you can set yourself for games. I DID NOT SAY UP TO GAMING STANDARDS, I SAID PLAY AND PLAYABLE!
