1 out of 5 eggs2 bad ones

Pros: Cheap, newegg has fabulous customer service.

Cons: Constantly disconnects. Repeatedly followed instructions to the letter, and still could not keep it working for more than a minute without it disconnecting. I RMA'd the first one, and experienced identical results with the replacement so sent it back for a refund. Don't quite know how this is possible, but it even even corrupted my my standard mouse and keyboard drivers somehow, forcing my to reset my system to an earlier date to get them back working. I replaced with a microsoft (item # N82E16823109236) that worked perfect, first time, out of the box.

Other Thoughts: In fairness, this device had decent reviews, so it is possible that I simply had bad luck with 2 lemons in a row.

5 out of 5 eggsawesome deal

Pros: What as great deal! wireless keyboard AND mouse for around 20 bucks. its a full size keyboard also. I got mine from the local computer super store. For those who don't like this 20 bucks value, do yourself a favor, go ahead and spend your $300 dollars to get yourself a 15 button gaming mouse and gaming keyboard to make yourself happy and your wallet cry! I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsWorks very well, I like it.

Pros: I bought this last week for my new laptop, it just arrived today...I have been using it all day, and so far, no problems, no complaints. It's fast, it's accurate, there have been no connectivity issues. Hopefully it continues to perform this well.
It is a great buy for the price, especially with the MIR. The mouse that was included is terrific as well, much better than the cheap no name brand wireless I was using...I was about to throw that one out the window. >:-(
Also, I guess they must have made some changes to this model. Some reviewers mentioned that the keys were textured, but the unit I received does not have textured keys. The backspace key is the standard size on my keyboard as well. The model number on my keyboard matches the number on the box, and the picture on the box does show the textured keys and the half size backspace key...but the keyboard is slightly different than the picture.
Thus far, I really like the set, and I would recommend.

Cons: None yet, hopefully that will not change.

Other Thoughts: I'm super happy that the batteries came with the set, for both the mouse and the keyboard. That was a nice touch.

3 out of 5 eggsGAR BAGE.

Pros: Dirt cheap

Cons: poorly built, disconnects

Other Thoughts: First I'll start with my frustrations with the signal. It disconnects for a few seconds at a time often. I have bought two of these one is still going strong the other is at the bottom of a trash heap somewhere. I took iout the usb receiver from my PC to set up a new build i was working on. That's when the receiver came apart.

4 out of 5 eggsLow profile and cheap

Pros: -Full keyboard (including num pad) provides nice click feel
-Low profile (keyboard and mouse are no frills and sleek)
-Both mouse and keyboard are fairly responsive (even played Portal 2 with no issues)
-Mouse can be used by left or right hand
-Mouse and keyboard have power-saving features (very energy efficient

Cons: -Backspace is too small

Other Thoughts: I bought this combo package to use with our media computer. Both the mouse and keyboard were passed around frequently which resulted in many drops. After about 20 drops or so, the mouse left click stopped working well. Over time and several more drops, it finally failed.

Honestly I'm very impressed with this set. For the price, the quality is more than sufficient for your average computer needs. The signal seems as advertised, it is responsive too (I was able to play FPS games with no problems).

I am subtracting 1 egg because of the small backspace key, but that is only a minor qualm. I won't dock any eggs for the mouse breaking, it was never designed to be dropped so many times. I am actually purchasing another one I was so impressed (for the price).

I'd definitely recommend this product for those with a budget.

4 out of 5 eggsIt works I guess

Pros: -Cheap I guess
-Works mostly... about the same reliability of more expensive sets. More reliable than some of the Bluetooth keybaords and mice I've used, which is nice I suppose.

Cons: -Works mostly... I hate wireless mice and keyboards, I hate their reliability.. this isn't impressive, seems to have the same reliability of more expensive Microsoft and Logitech keyboards and mice.
-Feels cheap.. mouse buttons stick, keyboard is OK.
-Battery mismatch.. Can't use the same batteries for both devices, mouse uses "AAA" batteries, keyboard uses a single "AA" battery

Other Thoughts: I hate wireless mice and keyboards. They are always unreliable. This cheapy set seems to be about as reliable as most Microsoft and Logitech sets.
I don't see a point in spending the extra for other brands if you absolutely must have wireless.

A friend of mine gave me this, he doesn't know where he got it. I guessed it to be worth about $20. I wasn't far off.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad great for the price

Pros: Very inexpensive. Work fine. Definitely worth the money which isn't much.

Cons: The only Cons I have with this are that the backspace is very small to the point that I constantly miss it and press another key instead and, there are no lights to indicate that the caps lock or num lock are on, but that isn't much of a problem.

Other Thoughts: You can tell it's cheap, but what are you expecting? It's great for the price and the mouse is accurate and responsive.

4 out of 5 eggsInteresting keyboard.

Pros: Full size keyboard and keys. Keys make a satisfying click-sound. Good if you are old-school. Includes a full number pad and alternate keys.

Cons: Keys are textured! What's up with that?! The backspace key is not double-wide. That is very annoying.

Other Thoughts: I bought this based on the reviews and price. I needed a new keyboard because my old wired HP had issues. And I wanted a wireless model. I wanted one with full-size keys, not those little laptop-style ones. The keyboard is full size, if a bit minimalist - nothing more than the basics on the model. The backspace key is NOT full sized - annoying. And the keys are TEXTURED! What the heck? I think the textured keys are more annoying than the backspace key. Full num pad plus all the other keys you get on a full size keyboard. Works great, installation a snap, tiny dongle. Can't review the mouse because I'm not using it. You really can't go wrong if you want a cheap, full-sized wireless keyboard.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent for the price

Pros: Works good for the price.
Not a fan of flat laptop-style keys that's why I bought this one. Love it.
Batteries have a decently long lifespan. Replaced battery in keyboard maybe a couple times this past year. Few times in mouse.
Super reliable. Was a cheap set so I figured not gonna last long. HA! Wrong. Been almost a year and they haven't broke on me yet *shocked*knocks on wood*

Cons: Sometimes will get twitchy, ghost or just lag. But hey, you get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for. They've been super reliable so I would buy again!
