2 out of 5 eggsNuteral

Pros: The keypad being cordless is nice. The fact that the keypad can be used as a calculator is a plus also.

Cons: The mouse is TOO small, you would have to be a child to use it comfortably. Also, the mouse did not work. The usb plug in is too large. You cannot use the port on either side of it, unless you have one that is spaced wide away from the rest.

Other Thoughts: If I had read the feedback already left on this item, I would not have purchased it.

3 out of 5 eggsshort range

Pros: Overall its a nice product. Good layout and good functionality. I especially like that 5 is the windows key when numlock is off. double functionality as a calculator is nice too. Feels very sturdy.

Cons: Mouse it 90% worthless. Unless you suffer from little hand syndrome, it will be incredibly awkward to use. Also, both devices have very short range (about 4 feet). Good for desktop use, but useless as a HTPC remote replacement. Also, the dongle is HUGE. Theres no excuse for that these days if you ask me.

Other Thoughts: So maybe the range issue is partially my fault. I have a wireless router and a wireless mouse/keyboard combo and a Turtle Beach headset all operating right next to the PC this thing was plugged in to, but none of those other devices are having any interference issues.

Its really not a bad device. I took it to work and use it there. Minus 1 egg for range, minus another for the huge dongle.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The mouse worked.

Cons: It didn't work. Bought it to go with my Eee PC 1000 Linux OS notebook. The Linux OS and Staroffice spreadsheet wouldn't recognize the 10 key.

Other Thoughts: Nice features of two wireless items on one dongle and the independent calculator function.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: It's great to have both the mouse and the nurmerical keypad together. One connection that's all. The send button is actually a good thing. If you just need to use it as a keypad just make sure it is in keypad mode, you don't have to hit send at all. Here's the good part. Say you want to add some number before entering. Put the keypad in calculator mode and add away, when you get done you can hit send to make the resulting number tranfer.

Cons: The only thing I can really say that I didn't like was the dongle is a bit big. It's hard to fit anything in the USB ports next to it. They could have made it smaller or aleast narrower.

Other Thoughts: The switch on the bottom of the keypad and mouse is nice but would have prefered the postion to be on the side. Good product for any laptop/notebook computer.

5 out of 5 eggsReview Updated

Pros: I like the fact that it doubles as a calculator.

Cons: I woud have liked a little more tacticle feedback on the keys. Minor quibble.

Other Thoughts: I had submitted a review previously indicating that you needed tht SEND before numbers to added to Excel or other applications. Not sure what happened to that review but it was user eror :o

The product works very well. I don't use the mouse so I can't comment in that but I like not having wires all over the place (a I have enough wires on my desk.)

2 out of 5 eggsThink about your need first....

Pros: It's wireless and it pretty much works out of the box. I like the fact that this doubles as a standalone calculator.

Cons: In order to use the numberpad for say EXCEL or any application, you key in the number and then hit SEND on the pad. This is rather annoying. I purchased this as a number pad and to have to key the number and then hit SEND is efficient. Also, after you hit send, you have to clear the screen for your next entry and hit SEND again. Perhaps there is a way to work around this but I can't find it.

Other Thoughts: The size and have a screen for calcular function is nice. However, I bought this to use has a wireless number pad and frankly, the useability is terrible given that you have to hit SEND to make your entry to ty our application. For Excel work, this slows me down. I am faster using the number keys on top of the keyboard than using this wireless key pad. I wish I knew this about this before I purchased.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat device!!!

Pros: This Numpad goes beyond the low price tag and continues to WOW with the ability to adjust audio settings on your pc/laptop, and to skip ahead to the next scene or fast forward on a video. Not too many Numpads with those capabilities.
On top of all those features the 5 function mouse included performs very well.
They even threw in the feature of a calculator on the Numpad!

Cons: Where's the kitchen sink?

Other Thoughts: New egg has not missed a delivery yet, and I have never had any troubles with their system.
