4 out of 5 eggsOkay keyboard

Pros: All keys still work after 2.5 years of use.
Haven't found a modern BIOS that couldn't recognize it.

Cons: Function key where left ctrl should be.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Great space saver. works.

Cons: one of the little rubber feet fell off in the first 30 seconds. The key action also leaves something to be desired. key-down is okay but the return force on the keys is too low making it feel a bit odd. not a huge deal but i wouldn't want to use this keyboard all day.

Other Thoughts: Build quality is soso. layout is a bit funky. why is there a backslash key next to the spacebar AND above enter (where it should be). I've never seen a keyboard with more than one backslash key. let alone that is very close to where i rest my thumb on the spacebar.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat's not to like?

Pros: Compact, stylish, good key feel

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: using it as an input device on my Sony Media Streamer and works perfect and looks good in a confined area.
Would never use it as a mainstream keyboard due to mini constraints so cant figure out what all the bi***in's about.

5 out of 5 eggsmedia center/server/car pc keyboard

Pros: Small size , slim profile, responsive keys. Straddles my Lanbox lite case perfectly so it doesn't use any desktop space.

Cons: No cons for what I use it for.

Other Thoughts: Used as a media center keyboard so I'm not writing a novel or typing code .
Realistic expectations from an inexpensive keyboard.
The only quirk that I have gotten used to is when the system has to reboot I turn off the # lock function which activates the #s in the middle of the QWERTY layout.

1 out of 5 eggsNot surprising...

Pros: Size was the appeal. Cost was a benefit.

Cons: But it is Junk. Came with strange issues. Shift keys works abnormally, like on some keys but not others depending on the shift keys. Shift + any of the numbers didn't work. the Fn key kinda never turned off after a while so I would type normal and have the numbers show up at random. I literally used it for a long time before I just couldn't handle not being able to type the @ symbol. Seaching "at symbol" and then copying and pasting it got old. The company wanted me to do an RMA but the shipping and time involved for such a cheap keyboard? Didn't interest me.

5 out of 5 eggsSmall, but exactly what I needed

Pros: Very small and it plugs and plays (but what keyboard doesn't)

Cons: The 'e' key sticks a little, and the caps lock light sometimes does and sometimes doesn't work.

Some of the keys are *slightly* out of "normal" place - but I almost hesitate to call this a negative because you have to sacrifice some of the layout to make it small.

Other Thoughts: The keyboard is too small to use everyday, but it works perfectly for what I needed. I have some servers that I access remotely, but I needed a keyboard to keep with the servers for the inevitable times when I would need physical access to the servers - so I wanted something as small as possible.

I actually think some of the keys could be smaller. The 'F' keys, for example, are full (or close to full) height. The could have been cut down to half size - but that's a pretty minor thing.

The long and short of it: if you need a small keyboard that you won't use for your main workhorse, this keyboard is perfect.

3 out of 5 eggsPretty Average

Pros: It's small. And the keys are sturdy. I think it's got a good feel to it.

Cons: As others have stated, the layout is not the best. But this is to be expected because it's not a full size keyboard. Also, in my case, it wobbles on a flat surface, each and every time I type a key in the upper right or lower right.

Other Thoughts: Just a special little rant: For about 35 years, the control key has been the last key on the lower left or lower right of the keyboard. Until now. This keyboard has the function key there, the last thing on the lower left, which I have typed a million times by mistake.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: This keyboard is small and light, and quite comfortable after getting adjusted to it. The keys seem to be organized in a way that makes more sense than the common layout after you're used to it. I especially like the home/pgup/pgdn/end layout, which is similar to that found on certain laptop models.

Cons: Num Lock is in the most odd place ever. Lacks XF86 keys (not a huge problem, you can always bind different keys to those functions, I'm using Mod4 (also known as Super or Windows key)+Arrow keys to do the audio functions).

Other Thoughts: There is an adjustment period before you are really used to it. A number of the keys are smaller than normal (which is to be expected) which makes you have to be more precise when hitting backspace, etc. After you are used to it this is a really nice keyboard that frees up a lot of desk space. Regarding what another poster stated about exposed screws, although there are some on the back, they are kept off the table by use of little tabs that hold the keyboard at an angle to the table. At all points where the keyboard contacts the table care is taken to ensure no scratches are made.

3 out of 5 eggsSmall, works

Pros: small, light, works

Cons: there are dozens of exposed screw heads on the bottom ready to scratch up your desk

the usb cable is too thin, I suspect this will fail after years of use

Other Thoughts: bought this to place in a 19" rack shelf, needed something narrow for occasional use. not recommended for constant use, get a full size keyboard.
