1 out of 5 eggsCannot Recommend This Product

Pros: *It has a built in mouse bad

Cons: *Worked well for approximately a month. Now if I type 'Have a nice day' on this keyboard it outputs 'h5fr a 4igt wt5 to the screen. Switched out the batteries, no change. Placed it 1 ft from the dongle, no change.

*No 'power down' down key. This may not be important to everyone. I purchased this to use from my couch, as my media PC is connected to my TV. If I begin slipping into a peaceful slumber while watching a movie I can't shut down the computer.

* No 'F11' key. Again, this may not be important to everyone, but I like to place my browser in Full screen mode so that background alerts don't interrupt a movie I may be watching. Not with this keyboard.

*No automatic power off feature when keyboard is not in use. There is a physical on/off switch. Very 90s technology. Most probably forget to switch it off, which is why there's a lot of poor battery life complaints.

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend this product. What's more, I urge folks not to purchase this. Aside from my particular issues with missing keys, it seems many of us who have purchased this experienced the key binding issue after a short time of use. This renders the keyboard on unusable.

1 out of 5 eggsDied after a few months

Pros: From the specs this would seem like a good product.

Cons: But it died after only a few months after I bought it. Press a key on the keyboard and it's like you pressed a different key.

Other Thoughts: Would not recommend.

2 out of 5 eggsSmall

Pros: Small

Cons: Too small, touch pad too small and smaller than side bar would alow. There is no dongle stowage, how hard is that.

2 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY

Pros: It's a solid 6/10 when it works.

Cons: It's poorly made, very fragile, and the batteries drain in a real hurry. (If it lasts long enough for the batteries to die that is...)

Other Thoughts: You're better off buying a decent one for a little more cash. Going cheap is a bad idea in this instance.

3 out of 5 eggsgood for use as htpc keyboard

Pros: perfect size for htpc that is also sometimes used to browse internet and what not. Touchpad works nice and smooth.

Cons: Not the best rf signal reception for the usb dongle. had to relocatee it with a extension cable for it to work good. to be expected since the HTPC sits in an enclosed cabinet. Although old bluetooth controller didn't have the same problems as this one. I would never want to type a lengthy essay on this keyboard. Not for office pc use unless you have hands of an 8 year old.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: great size and form factor for portability

Cons: Wireless radio seems to be susceptible to interference in RF noisy areas. When used in my office where there are few other wireless devices, it worked flawlessly. When moved out to final deployment area with many other wireless mice & keyboards, range and responsiveness degrade to the point of unusabiliity.

5 out of 5 eggsMedia Center Perfect

Pros: Is an awesome solution for Media Center Pc's integrated into Home Theater Systems.

Small enough to comfortably hold with 2 hands and use trackpad with your thumb surprisingly well.

Compact design makes it EASY to hide with remotes, on off switch onboard, and just hit enter to come out of sleep mode. VERY simple to use ZERO config, true plug and play.

Cons: As with anything we make smaller I admit typing is a little tough HOWEVER, compared to smartphones it's just fine.

As a standalone PC keyboard it'd be annoying, as a Home Theater Media Center Keyboard it's great.

No USB extension cable included. Many times you need to relocate the usb receiver for better general coverage and you must use a usb extension cable to do so. It's not a deal breaker as usb extensions are dirt cheap.

Other Thoughts: Overall we've used this keyboard as our flagship Media Center Home Theater solution and every user has loved it.

Price is right, compact, easiest setup because there is none, range is good, and it just simply works.

4 out of 5 eggsGood HTPC Keyboard

Pros: This is a nice sized HTPC keyboard (not too big not too small) track pad works well and the keys aren't too small . The wireless range is decent (about 8-10 feet). This thing gets an extra egg for durability mine has lasted through several spills and drops.

Cons: No back light! It can be really hard to see the keys in a dark room, I realize it would decrease battery life but they need to at least be glow in the dark or partially illuminated.

Other Thoughts: If lighting isn't an issue this keyboard is worth the price.

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not last

Pros: Size, feel, range when worked.

Cons: Lifespan.
Simply does not last. Just quit, stopped working for no reason.

Other Thoughts: When I got it - I thought it would be the perfect HTPC keyboard, and it was, for about a month, then it died.
Don't buy.

2 out of 5 eggsLOVED IT! Untill it done died.

Pros: Small, great battery life, good range, cursor responsive & keys weren't too small.

Cons: Short life span.

Other Thoughts: Xmas present from the wife for Friday family nite's in front of the HTPC. Touchpad was responsive, range was good enough and the keyboard was great for typing in titles or remoting into the main PC. It just died. Switched out batteries, USB ports, multiple PC's. The radio still prompted and completed installation but the the keyboard\ touchpad never moved a cursor, changed the volume or opened a share again. Sadness ensues. 7 months or about 28 sessions and she's kaputsky. Will not be replacing with same.
