5 out of 5 eggsGood stuff

Pros: both working well months after Xmas

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: At first sign of issue replace batteries even if a tester says okay, for wife using 2 to 6 hrs per day this has been about every 2 months. She uses from couch about 6 to 8 feet from PC

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Comfortable plastic. Keyboard that works. Good price for a basic model. Not much to compliment

Cons: Enter key is that reversed-L shape, making the \ key up by the backspace. I prefer having it above the enter key. Just a personal preference, however.

Ever so often I get a non-response period of a second or two, or if I'm holding in a key while playing a game it might stop responding until I hit the key again. Very rare, but irritating when it happens

Other Thoughts: Note that I only use the keyboard. I threw out the mouse without trying it. I already have a logitech wireless trackball. I needed a wireless keyboard to go with it, and the price for this was reasonable enough.

2 out of 5 eggsMediocre

Pros: Recognized Windows 7, Ubuntu, and Linuxmint without any hassle.

Cons: Mouse stops working often, have to adjust the batteries at times to get it to power back on.

Right mouse button VERY sensitive, annoyingly so, press it very often on accident.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for, I also bought a wireless Logitech pair that works immeasurably better and is of much sturdier construction. I'd offer thoughts on the keyboard as well as mouse, but my son spilled a drink into the keyboard within days of acquiring it and I was unable to dry it out sufficiently to make it work again. Would definitely recommend buying a better brand.

1 out of 5 eggsUsing the mouse has been a pain!

Pros: Quality and ergonomics is good, Keyboard has been working well.

Cons: The mouse does not stay connected. I will try to return or exchange, Trash. I don't have the patience for the delay in mouse activation.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Reliable!

Pros: This thing is great... I bought it in February last year and it's still working great.
I can use it in any room and it still reaches my pc in the livingroom, through walls and all.

Cons: I only wish it were backlit... but it's still a great keyboard. Besides, a backlit wireless keyboard would kill the batteries.
The wheel on the mouse died out on me. Probably because of my kid...

Other Thoughts: Great combo. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a reliable keyboard and mouse.

2 out of 5 eggsawkward backward angle

Pros: Wireless.
I only bought one.

Cons: Awkward backward keyboard angle.
The white button markings wear off without much use.
Range seems to be line-of sight.

Other Thoughts: You need to put the receiver in a front usb port or it'll lose its connection.
That, and the fact this keyboard's keys ,even with the legs extended, are slanted toward the back at a wacky angle.
There are better keyboard, even in this price range.

4 out of 5 eggsNot too bad

Pros: Cheap, works well for the most part.

Cons: Like one of the other reviewers, sometimes my mouse does quit randomly working too. I thought it was due to time lapse, but then I realized after a while it just seems completely random, whether I'm actively using it or not. Like the other reviewer, I also turn it off and turn it back on and it's okay after that. Doesn't happen all the time, just sporadically.

Other Thoughts: Works well. I've had it now for almost a year. Other than the mouse thing, it's done its job.

I type for a living from home. I type up verbatim documents from people speaking. Surprisingly between my $80 Microsoft wireless keyboard setup and my $25 Gearhead setup, Gearhead is the keyboard that doesn't skip letters when I'm typing fast. It's been well worth the money.

3 out of 5 eggsSlight issue.

Pros: Wireless keyboard and mouse for -20 bucks.

Cons: Every once in a while the mouse just stops working, while in use.
It has a on/off switch on the bottom of the mouse, if you toggle the button off and back on the mouse instantly works.
Not sure if it is a sleep issue or a connection issue.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for a computer to attach to my TV. I use it to sift through online movies and stuff to watch, so I use the mouse for a couple minutes and then usually watch something.
Flipping the switch every couple hours doesn't kill me so its a keeper.
