3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap, easy to set up

Cons: The keyboard feels really flimsy and every so often I have to re-jigger the batteries in it to get it to power on again. Minor but still an annoyance.

2 out of 5 eggsNice looks, but some problems.

Pros: Wireless keyboard, nice look, perfect layout.

Cons: While the looks and form of the keyboard are great, there are two fairly major issues with this keyboard for me.

First of all, the keys are angled backwards slightly, even with the feet on the bottom of the keyboard raised. This means that the top edge of each key is slightly lower than the bottom edge of the key.

It's seems very minor, but it definitely took some adjusting to. Touch-typing was more difficult at first than on any other keyboard I've used. It forced me to change the angle of my wrists slightly while typing, which causes some cramping in my hands after extended use.

Another issue is that the keyboard has a tendency of losing the connection with the transceiver. Especially if it's been idle for a while, it can take ~20 seconds of pounding random keys before it starts responding to anything. It never cuts out while it's actively being typed on, though.

1 out of 5 eggsmissing parts right out of the box!

Pros: it has keys?

Cons: Very cheeply made keyboard, not even worth the $20 bucks. The mouse was broken when I took it out of it box and required me to take it apart to put the tab that contacts the batteries back where it belonged. after I did that I realized that there was no Dongle for the mouse and keyboard so basically I just bought a cheep keyboard and mouse simulator (actual typing not included)

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap. Works as expected. Good distance.

Cons: Probably wouldn't be effective against zombies.

Other Thoughts: I use several Logitech's at the office, and tried one at home. The wireless signal wouldn't push 8 feet from the computer to my coffee table. That was with the transceiver in plain sight.

The Gearhead works great in the same situation.

Pros: Cheap. Wireless with free mouse.

Cons: Non-functional ctl key after a few months.

Other Thoughts: Try the yodeling pickle

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Runs well when it works

Cons: Way to often it cuts off in middle of typing and the mouse randomly shuts off at times, it started within days of getting it.
Uses AAA batteries most everything i use. uses AA batteries witch means id have to go buy a massive pack for this

Other Thoughts: If i replace the batteries and everything works better then they come with some REALLY cheap batteries

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Relatively inexpensive.
Plug & play.
Good range.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I used the Logitech for several office computers. I got one for my home entertainment system. The 6' from the computer to where I sat was too far. This Gearhead worked very well.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Button transceiver. Good distance. Worked fine out of the box.

Cons: The transceiver is "hiding" on the bottom of the mouse. I spent 30 extra seconds looking for it AFTER going through the trash. No egg loss for that.

Other Thoughts: I have been using the Logitech sets at work and was pleased enough to order one at home for my new media PC. From 8 feet, the Logitech lost so much signal, that it couldn't be used. This Gear Head model worked fine from where I sit on the couch.
