5 out of 5 eggsWorks as expected

Pros: Plugged in transmitter and it worked ! Mouse small but responsive, keyboard thin but not flimsy--- Only have used it at 6-8 foot range but it works well at that distance ~mouse has a off switch as a battery saver! Transmitter -receiver is very small

Cons: none - price a little more than some

Other Thoughts: Quality --

3 out of 5 eggsGood keyboard look and touch, bad mouse

Pros: nice clean look. nice feeling buttons.

Cons: not great range or reception. mouse is the worst. terrible tracking and lags all the time. my other wireless mouses (mice?) are better.

5 out of 5 eggsNice set, just received this week

Pros: Keyboard is large, stable, sturdy, well made. Mouse is a mini mouse, has a very nice feel. USB dongle is tiny.

Cons: None for me so far, will see how the battery life is (I've only had it several days now).

Other Thoughts: The keyboard is very sturdy feeling, other wireless keyboards I have owned have felt cheap and lightweight. The very tiny USB dongle is plugged in to one of my front panel USB ports, which live behind my system's front "door". It is so small I can close the door fully and the keyboard and mouse still work great.

The mouse is the size of a notebook mouse, if you have large hands or prefer the regular sized mouse this isn't the set for you. The mouse itself has a smooth, rubber like coating that has a nice feel and keeps your hand securely in place.

I would reccomend this to just about anyone. Great lenovo quality, works perfect, looks great on my desk and best of all NO WIRES!

5 out of 5 eggsLenovo 57Y4700 Update

Pros: Same

Cons: Embarrassing...Although everything fit snuggly, evidently the batteries and/or cover were not installed correctly causing the mouse case to distort and the right mouse button to be more difficult to depress. Removed batteries. carefully reinstalled them one at a time and reinstalled cover. Right mouse button operated smoothly with the same pressure and feel as the left mouse button.

Other Thoughts: Drink less adult beverage and more coffee before putting this mouse into service.

5 out of 5 eggsLenovo 57Y4700

Pros: Thin, light weight, keys have a nice tactile feel. Comes with batteries, good range, no dropped keys from across room. no software to install, works well with Ubuntu 10.04

Cons: Pro or Con? If the right mouse button is pressed on the forward end it flexes and bottoms out before it depresses the clicker. Pressure must be applied 1/2 to 3/4 inches from end to get a successful click. This is a pro for me because it prevents me from inadvertently clicking when I did not intend to. Others may find it a little frustrating. Manual is almost non-existent but everything is pretty intuitive.

Other Thoughts: Ultraslim does not mean compact. Keyboard is thin and light weight but otherwise a full size keyboard (approx 7"x18") I purchased this combo direct from Lenovo at a discount but I'm sure Newegg service would have been much faster if you are in a hurry.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat so far

Pros: Get range, non line of sight, very portable. Great Basic wireless keyboard, I tested it's ability to type from roughly 25ft in another room, though a wall and didn't lose any keystrokes. Mouse is light and easy to move, Dongle is low profile and can be stored in the mouse.

Keyboard has Volume controls, mute, Play/pause, track skips, internet browse, and calculator quick buttons. Has right side number pad.

Cons: Keyboard is not great for a laptop bag, It's a good 18 inches long.

Other Thoughts: I use it with my media center computer. Feels great so far. I've always enjoyed Lenovo's quality and they did well with this.
