4 out of 5 eggsMostly Great

Pros: Heavy duty. Nice key mechanism. If you like laptop style keyboards this is a nice one as the fell of this thing matches nicely.

Cons: -Not a huge fan of the rounded keys. Just felt a little weird.
-Delete key is small. I'm not a fan of that kind of layout for a keyboard. Return key smaller and larger delete key next time please.

-The one completely lame thing is the onboard soundcard. Yes. It has it's own soundcard onboard. Disable this thing. It can create conflicts in hardware. I know Enermax was trying to do something cool here but it was a HORRIBLE IDEA. You want to impress me? Next time make a spot for me to connect a line between the keyboard and my soundcard so that I can plug in a headset to it that way and don't saddle me with your trash.

Be aware if you have a Realtek chip on the mobo you might hit this problem also as I did at first.

Other Thoughts: Like the durability and heavy duty nature.
It's good. 3-4 eggs. It falls short of 5 due to the mentioned soundcard issue. The other stuff is preference.

1 out of 5 eggsEnermax Caesar keyboard

Pros: Great feel, seemed stout enough, love the extra usb ports on each side and audio jacks at the rear. My typing improved immensely due to the tiny backspace key.

Cons: Died at 8 months of service, just DOA, for no reason. Small backspace key, too wide to fit under my monitor stand. Not all peripherals are recognized by the keyboard usb ports.

Other Thoughts: If you buy this one, make sure to pay the $9.99 for the 1 year warranty. I didn't, and it turns out I should have. For the amount I paid (over $62.00) I feel this keyboard should have lasted me at least a year with no problems. In my case, this wasn't a good deal for the price.

4 out of 5 eggsPleasing to the eye.

Pros: Great keyboard if you can find it at a nice price awesome design headphone hole in the back and the extra USB are very useful. smooth cold hard metal around keys very nice seems high qaulity and pleasing to the eye. media keys on the left are great.

Cons: Mesh gets stuff in it but nothing a gentle vaccum hose or upside down shaking cant solve but mesh is more of a choice to have before you buy i knew stuff would get in it does not bother me much. took an egg off because the reason i bought this keyboard was because i thought it would be sturdy(i use my keyboard on my lap sometimes and IF i ever drop it i would like it to survive)and although i can tell its very sturdy it is alittle loud when typing specially in certain spots which makes me feel like its not as sturdy as i would want it to be. Though it is very comfy on my lap and has fallen once and had no problems also noticed it does not scratch that easily a big +

Other Thoughts: overall great keyboard if you can find it at an alright price specially with rebate. Neweggs shipping was timely as always THANK YOU NEWEGG YOU ROCK!

1 out of 5 eggsGood keyboard bad rebate service

Pros: Good keyboard, pretty solid all around.

Cons: The mesh hand rest are so clunky and really easy to trap dirt, you will spend each weekend cleaning this thing.

Newegg is awesome for shipping this keyboard out to me fast but the rebate from enermax is a totally different experience, see other thought.

Other Thoughts: If I didn't have problem with my rebate, I would have rated this a 4 star. I followed the instruction precisely and after about 2 months of waiting, enermax sent me an email saying that my rebate was declined. Their reason is that I didn't include the UPC with the rebate form. This is not true at all.
I double check, triple check, all the parts of the rebate before I sent it out and even taken picture in case something goes wrong. So I sent them a copy of of my backup stuff via email and they sent back what they receive without the UPC code I included. Contact their customer support said that there nothing they can do and even treat me bad. Never again buying anything from enermax (with rebate).
PS: I got several rebates from Corsair and Antec before and this is the first problem I've ever had.
30$ gone and I'm stuck with an overpriced keyboard. As good as I think this keyboard is, for the price it cost me, I would have gone with logitech or other brands.

4 out of 5 eggsgood and bad

Pros: Beautiful keyboard, good feel while type, solid construction and craftmanship. Media keys are awesome, making Media Center a wonderful experience.
USB, audio, mic port.

Cons: Although it have audio port, the sound coming out of it are poor so stay way from using it.

The mesh part are quiet nice, it feel nice to the hand and look nice but a pain in the backside to clean. After about a week, the mesh already trapped a lot of dust in it.

Other Thoughts: If you can ignore the audio port and don't mind cleaning the mesh this keyboard is really good and well worth the money.
Another improvement that can be done with this board is some backlight.

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: It's pretty I suppose. Honestly that's about it. I had SERIOUS issues with this keyboard, which is sad because I really wanted to love it. But each passing day I owned it made me hate it more. Read on.

Cons: Where do I begin? The mesh is borderline painful. The keys don't register half the time. The noise from the keys is inconsistent from key to key. The thing feels very cheap. It's a hassle to type on. Half the time you hit the space bar, it doesn't register. I've used $10 keyboards that function way better than this.

Other Thoughts: I'm shocked at how many good reviews are here. This keyboard is painful to use and has serious problems with functionality. I'm returning it without a second thought. It's that bad.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat keyboard overall

Pros: Great keyboard feel. Very durable steel. I mean, steel on a keyboard. 2 USB connectors (1 on each side). audio input (jacks only, not usb audio). media controls on the side.

scissor keys feel great in an actual keyboard, unlike how they feel on a laptop (although it's the same thing essentially)

Cons: usb audio + this keyboard = potential problems.
there also seems to be an issue with typing too fast. If you type on the letters and then the number rows above it, it appears the keyboard doesn't catch all your keystrokes (note: I type only like 90 WPM or so).

Other Thoughts: absolutely worth getting. great for gaming.

4 out of 5 eggsBeautiful looking board

Pros: Absolutely beautiful looking board. Looks fantastic on my desk with my Asus Monitor which also has brushed aluminum accents and a brushed aluminum base (half the reason I bought it). Keys feel great and I have not noticed any of the rattling mentioned in the older reviews.

So far the board has a very consistent key feel through out and I find the keys pleasantly quiet have a great feel. Perhaps Enermax has listened to the feedback and refined the manufacturing process.

The whole board is very solid. No creaks, or squeaks, or rattles anywhere that I have noticed, and I was looking. I read all the reviews I could find before ordering it and I was not expecting it to be as good as it is.

Glad to see that Enermax has fixed all the early quality complaints. I have used Enermax products in many computers I have put together over the years and have never had an issue with them. They have a bright future in the peripheral business if they keep putting out products like th

Cons: Not a fan of the Euro style keypad but it's a minor nuisance. Like many others I wish they made a market specific version for North America with a key pad lay out in line with the other products offered in this market from the larger accessory makers.

Wish the keys were back lit. It would have gotten a 5 egg rating despite the key pad lay out if the keys were back lit because then it would be the closest thing to the perfect keyboard I have used thus far.

Wish the right hand Vista/7 function keys were programmable as not everyone uses those operating systems. Again, just a minor issue that hopefully Enermax takes to heart and improves for the next version if they chooses stay in the peripheral business in North America.

Other Thoughts: Enermax is showing some great potential in the peripheral business and judging from my experience so far with this product and the complaints of the early reviewers it seems they are making a serious effort to create really good quality products as my board shows absolutely none of the issues relating to key noise, creaks, or build quality.

If Enermax makes a few little tweaks to their next version of this board (like North American market standard layout, programmable side function keys and a nice LED back light for the keys), they really will be able to claim they make the emperor of all keyboards.

5 out of 5 eggsWow

Pros: Everything about this thing is a PRO. I don't normally write a review on products I buy online, but this one deserves it. If you are on the fence on this product, buy it. It is solid.

Cons: Audio on the keyboard. For some reason i got to thinking that the keyboard has speakers, that is not the case (nor does it claim to), but when i saw audio i/o i just assumed.

The keyboard IS loud, but not in a bad way. I'm tempted to put this on the PRO side. So you type fast, and now everyone knows it ....Big Deal. It is NOT a dealbreaker.

Other Thoughts: I did alot of research on which keyboard i'd use for 2010, and I am pleased that I settled on this one. There is not a keyboard out there better for the price, period.
