3 out of 5 eggsCheap. Not amazing, but worth it.

Pros: -Price. At least $60 less than the vast majority of mechanical keyboards.
-Mouse has a decent range of DPI control. Adjusting settings is fairly easy.
-Color customization (mouse).
-Side button "hotkey" customization (mouse).

Cons: -Performance is underwhelming. See other thoughts.
-Some weird keys in weird spots. F6-F11 keys below the space bar.
-Color control, (keyboard) only three colors to choose from.

Other Thoughts: I just built my first budget computer and I bought this keyboard/mouse bundle because it was a shell-shocker deal for $20. In the long run, I probably would have spent at least $100 more if I had bought a mechanical keyboard and mouse separately. That being said, I bought the combo because I wasn't concerned with how good of a keyboard I could get. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely happy with my purchase. For what I payed I got exactly what I expected (maybe a little better too).

If you want to save a bundle of money on peripherals, buy this. If you're a keyboard/mouse snob, then look elsewhere.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The mouse speed can be adjusted by clicking a button on top.

Cons: Sometimes I accidentally hit the key on the left side of the keyboard that changes WASD to arrow keys.

1 out of 5 eggsI threw this out

Pros: you can use it as a weapon in case of a home invasion

Cons: -mine came DOA, keys not working.
-the F keys on the bottom make you go: "what were these guys thinking?" it's so bad it's almost funny.
-the software graphics are atrocious. badly drawn fantasy rpg stuff. I almost threw up.

Other Thoughts: I'm so glad I got this for free. I wouldn't have paid $5 for this.

Also shame on you newegg for giving away stockpiles of defective/mediocre products as incentive for buying package deals.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the money.

Pros: For the money you can't beat it. Of course it isn't the best there is. You get what you pay for.

Cons: The button placement takes some getting used to.

5 out of 5 eggsWould Buy Again for this price

Pros: Price and Features!
- In addition to the many other good points in the other reviews, I also wanted to mention that the keyboard keys are more compact, or in other words, closer together. I have my game keybinds based upon my right hand using the number pad. On other keyboards I just cant get my thumb over to the Ctrl key from my right hand positioned over the number keypad without additional effort. On this keyboard, I can.
- With this keyboard, I can get my thumb to the F10 & F11 keys at the bottom. That gives my thumb 8 keys I can press without thinking or looking.
- I am right handed and operate the keybinds with my right hand, but use my mouse left handed. Getting an ambidextrous mouse with programmable buttons on both sides of the mouse would normally be at least as expensive and what I paid for this keyboard/mouse package.
- All of the talk about "non-mechanical keyboard & membrane" is over stated. This keyboard sounds and acts like the keyboard you would have with an office PC.

Cons: - The surface of the keys are really smooth to the touch. I don't like this, but some else might think this a positive.
- The smooth keys show finger oil spots more than a "normal" keyboard.
- The space bar makes a "loose spring" noise when I use it. The other keys are ok.
Just making observations here, not enough to knock an egg off.

Other Thoughts: - One of the reasons I got this was because of the mouse having macro software for crafting in game. My other mouse is a CoolerMaster Recon which I like, but the macro programming is simple and touchy. This software looks more powerful and flexible, but I have not had the time to try it out yet. My CM mouse is still with my old PC.

1 out of 5 eggsFree was still to expensive for what this offers

Pros: There are none

Cons: F keys are horribly positioned. The company obviously never tested their own product.
Mouse is choppy or just doesn't work.

Other Thoughts: This combo got auto added for free because of other components I was purchasing so I figured what the hell, may as well give it a shot. Set it up and right away the F keys are really in the way. Trying to keep my hands from not resting on them hurts to type for any period of time. The mouse was choppy right out of the box on a clean surface. So I got the update for it and it died halfway through the update. Now I don't have to worry about the mouse because it won't respond at all. At that point the whole thing went in the garbage and I was grateful all I wasted was time.

1 out of 5 eggsGAMDIAS Ares Gaming Keyboard Combo 3 Adjustable RGB Backlit Colors, Consecutive Attack Button + Ourea Gaming Optical Mouse 6 Programmable Buttons Weight System

Pros: With rebate it's $9.99

Cons: If there firmware update stop half way thru the mouse die's. Company has no support there model is buyer beware.
Found many reports of failed updates and dead mouse.

Other Thoughts: Glad it was only a low cost lesson never to do with this !

4 out of 5 eggsI like this set

Pros: for the price after rebate this can't be beat, bright led back-lit keyboard, well packaged, velco on the wiring for tidy cables. Mouse wheel changes color, solid or pulse, weighted mouse which is easy to increase or decrease. usb connections fit just fine. mouse is smooth and responsive, software works well. keyboard has some heft to it, not feather light as expected, easy readable backlit keys. not too loud of a click on the mouse, right click has different tone than left. mouse wheel has a incremental feel.

Cons: wrist rest keys are in a weird spot, thought they would get in the way but seem to be ok, bright glowing logo on the mouse was simple enough to disconnect, two screws under the glider pad and unplug the connector. right side button on the mouse is is a bit too easy to press accidentally.

Other Thoughts: Take it for what it is worth, for a micro budget build this is perfect and has way more features than expected for the price. I like it and would defiantly buy again, even just to shelf at this price.
