3 out of 5 eggsClunky but works okay

Pros: The keys all work if you press down hard enough, no problems while gaming as far as responsiveness goes.

Cons: "Sleek and low-profile keys" are the last words I would use to describe it. While gaming, i have no problem- but when I'm just typing regularly it's an absolute chore. The space bar is oversensitive and multiple spaces are registered. Otherwise, you have to press down on the keys harder than you would actual low-profile keyboards, it really hinders typing speed for me (unless my hands are unusually weak, which I doubt).
Some of the lights are dim or don't come on at all (mostly the top macros keys), not a major con, just slightly annoying trying to find one in the dark.
Overall, it's loud no matter how you type, and a little uncomfortable, and i wish the escape key was closer to the tilde and 1.

Other Thoughts: If i weren't so irked by the "low profile keys" and having to go back and delete every double space I see, i would give this 4 eggs.
I've been using it for five months and these problems were present from the start. I'll probably give it away when the W starts to stick.
I got this as a gift, but if I had bought it at the current price, I'd say I got what I paid for, if a little less.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Nice Keyboard - Price is perfect.

Pros: Very big, stable keyboard with plenty of options. Completely customizable and mappable keys and macros will make your hands comfortable no matter where you want them. The illumination is quite nice too, though it could stand to be just a little bit brighter.

Cons: USB connection only prevents it from having true "superior" ghosting. Had I known that, I would have moved up the extra $10-20 for one that had a PS/2 port. Also, the raised bumps for the "W" key aren't really that easy to find, so moving back to "home" when gaming isn't that easy. The keys all feel very similar so it's easy to be off from where you're supposed to be.

Other Thoughts: I bought this keyboard looking for a gaming keyboard with an affordable pricetag. This fit the bill, but fell a little short in terms of what I was expecting due to the aforementioned cons.

1 out of 5 eggsNot very slim, awkward layout

Pros: None

Cons: Keys feel very strange when typing, like they do not have a definite depth

ESC key is surrounded by other keys - very bad design for such a key

It says it has a slim design but the keyboard itself is not very slim, nor are the keys, both have medium to high height to them, which totally negates the slim style.

Short stubby spacebar looks like someone was only interested in making a design statement, not a functional key.

4 out of 5 eggsGood keyboard

Pros: Solid gaming keyboard. Lots of extra buttons for macros. 6-key anti-ghosting is probably the most anyone would ever need. Soft-but-visible backlighting. At $40 on sale, was definitely a great buy.

Cons: Not much to speak of, other than the space bar began squeaking almost immediately after I got it. Nothing some oil can't fix. Still, the fact that it practically came out of the box with a squeaky key (And is one of the most used keys) bugs me enough to take away an egg.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat keyboard, all the "flaws" are my opinion

Pros: overall great keyboard, macro keys are op as hell.
steelseries engine is makes this keyboard a hell of a lot better

Cons: The diagonal keys are utterly useless and gets in the way of non-gaming applications. thank goodness i can disable them using the steelseries engine, tho

Other Thoughts: LED lighting not as bright as i would like them to be, but i got a referb so i don't know if all of them are like this.

5 out of 5 eggsAPEX [RAW] is Incredible!

Pros: Very Bright Backlit Keys (Perfect for Gaming in the Dark)
Great macro key functionality and key customization!
Keys feel nice and tight!

Cons: Doesn't have the color changing tech as the Apex! lol (Recommend APEX just for the looks)

Other Thoughts: The macro keys are incredible! I use them to open different applications and games! Its easier than having to open up Steam!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard

Pros: Lighted keyboard and can be dimmed without the software. Plenty of Macro Keys. Easy to type, quiet and responsive. It's a great keyboard and works perfectly for FPS games. Typing feels great. One of the best keyboards I've ever used or owned.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Couple this with a SteelSeries Sensei Raw Gaming mouse and you've got one heck of a setup.
