Comes with Photoshop Elements 7 for Windows users (v6 for mac). The twin wheels are a very nice touch and show that a lot of thought was put into this slate. The programming behind it was cleanly done and easy to use. Installation was a breeze - just be sure to install the software first before plugging it in. Cons: It does not have a protective plastic cover for the drawing surface - which will inevitably build up scratches. It uninstalled my wacom drivers on installation. Packaging graphics of sample art seem cheap and cheesy. Other Thoughts: In the end, despite having double the resolution and pressure sensitivity of the 9x12 Wacom Intuous 1 which I bought the Monet to replace - it only performed as good as my older board. Which is a complement if you consider that my older board cost nearly a grand a decade ago, yet it wasn't enough to make a sale - so I returned it. There is also something to be said about my hand being used to working with a larger surface area. If Penpower were to make a 9x12 Monet I would grab it right up. If you're interested in computer art and looking for something which is more than a child's toy yet unwilling to drop a few hundred on the latest thing from Wacom - check this one out.
